Accomodation: We stayed in Villa 05, which is very spacious and has a beautiful garden and ocean view, particularly from the bedroom on the upper floor. The bathroom is exceptionally large and luxurious. However, the bedroom would be better furnished if it had a table with 2 chairs, which can be used for reading and writing, while looking at the ocean waves. Reastaurant space: very nice and cosy. However, the temperature of the air conditioning sistem was set too low and apparently, it could not be changed. Consequently, the temperature difference between the outside and the inside is too large, perhaps as large as 12-15 degrees, which is uncomfortable and may cause health issues... Because of this we had to chose in-room serving for both breakfast and dinner. Breafast and Dinner: very good, tasty and nicely presented. For dinner, we were allowed to alternate the regular menu with a la carte options. Food in-room service: we highly appreciated the service provided by Mr. Sanjeewa, who was exceptionally kind and attentive. House keeping: we were impressed with the service provided by Mr. Sriyantha and Mr. Pasindu. First of all the architecture of the resort is stunning, the size of our villa with sea view and private pool was enormous. We felt right at home, huge bathroom with round bathtub, there was absolutely nothing missing. Fernando our ‚butler‘ was the best helping even to organize certain things for us. The the Spa: we had a couple treatment and it was fantastic! The Chef in the restaurant is GREAT, he accommodated a few special wishes - not many guests end of October.

Even though the Resort was built 2017 there are some signs of weathering on the grounds but we saw people working on it.

The property is gorgeous, facilities are in good shape, it has a private beach and gorgeous pool and all the amenities you would expect at a resort. The gym and spa are an excellent asset and the restaurant serves incredible dishes. We came here with a toddler and the staff did everything they could to make our stay comfortable. We loved the fact that the resort is small, so you don’t spend too much time going back and forth to the suite. We booked a suite and it is spacious, the bathroom is absolutely stunning and the bed is large enough for 3 adults!! An absolute dream of a bed, so so comfortable, we ended up sleeping in it with our toddler. We really appreciate the staff, who are welcoming and professional and are very diligent. It is perfect to spend some downtime, the resort is calm and peaceful and perfect for a family to come and rest.

Exceptionally friendly, helpful staff, games room for kids was amazing with free to play pool, table football and arcade games and arts & crafts. Rooms were spacious with one of the best shower rooms I've ever used, multiple shower options, walk in bath with views of the river. We booked a suite - the bed was incredible, massive and soo comfortable. A la carte breakfast was amazing, both European and Asian options, perfectly cooked and all of it delicious. The best food overall of our hol (staying in several 5 star resorts) Beautiful pool with views of the beach. Kids loved the hotels water park too which was a unique feature.

Very quiet at this time of year, water park looked a bit dated (though kids didnt mind at all!), beach was a choppy and not really suitable for swimming though nice for paddling and collecting shells. Food was delicious but took a long while to arrive - order early and enjoy a drink!

The hotel is beautifully designed in the style of the famous architect Jeffrey Bawa. Our stay in the villa with a small pool and garden was truly fantastic. The rooms are spacious, and the shower area is breathtakingly large. Our personal butler was exceptionally attentive and took care of all our needs. We truly enjoyed a relaxing holiday. The hotel is located right on the beach, surrounded by a beautiful garden and a large pool, making it an oasis of tranquility. Moreover, we had the opportunity to embark on various trips organized by Nelson, our trusted driver of many years, who has shown us the wonders of Sri Lanka. Additionally, the hotel offers canoeing trips through the lagoon, providing another exciting way to explore the surroundings. During one of our canoeing adventures, we were thrilled to spot several large lizards basking in the sun along the shoreline. It was a memorable experience that added an extra layer of adventure to our stay. Additionally, the hotel offers various massages, all performed in a very hygienic and discreet environment, further enhancing our relaxation during our stay. The dining experience was of high quality, especially the seafood platter, which was exceptionally delicious and flavorful, consisting of various fish, shrimp, and crab.

We booked the one-bedroom suite with a pool, and it was absolutely fantastic. The resort itself is exceptionally nice, with very friendly staff. The food was outstanding. The kids' pool and play area felt like an exclusive waterpark, which had my kids going wild. All in all its become my favourite place to relax in the Negombo area.

The colour of the Ocean but that really couldnt be helped . I stopped in srilanka on my way back from maldieves so you really cant create a fair comparison . the sea become better when you go down to Galle etc. but its a shade of brown in this area .

A pleasant location with a spacious setting. Very peaceful but not many people when we stayed. Seemed more staff. Room large and well appointed. Best shower I’ve ever had. Meals a la carte but reasonable. Local dish was excellent. Other meals varied but at least ok. Worth a couple of days before or after Sri Lanka tour.

The staff are friendly and keep asking you if everything is ok. However they are not effective. Nothing gets done particularly well. Had to remind about room service once. Every time they produce a bill they run off to reception. Needs more efficient management. Not 5 star but comfortably 4.

Wonderful staff, warm welcome, very spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Had a great nights sleep as it was super quiet on the riverside. We loved the large bathroom overlooking the river. The breakfast had a great set menu of choices. Delicious waffles and pancakes. There are options to go to the beach, the pool, or go kayaking on the river. We played cricket with the staff sometimes which my son loved. Great place for the family to enjoy and relax before departing Sri Lanka.

Beautiful hotel, staff were lovely, helpful and friendly. Bed was super comfy, had an amazing night's sleep! Loved the balcony in our room and air conditioning was good. We arrived at new year and had welcome drinks and treats in our room which was a nice touch.

The toilet seat in our room did not look clean/had spray marks on so I cleaned it again myself as wasn't sure if dirty or just marks from flush or spray cleaning. Hopefully the latter! The plug in our plunge pool/bath tub didn't work very well so didn't fill up much (but we sorted it with the use of some cling film and an upside down soap dish 🤣🙈
