April 2023

The accommodation was one of the cleanest place we have ever stayed. Although the accommodation is not in the central, there are many bus and metro stations nearby, so you can reach everywhere easily. There were many restaurants and grocery stores around, the accommodation is in a quite neighborhood. The sauna was also a great plus. The hotel breakfast was nice. The kitchen was well equipped and clean.

We were staying in a private 2 person room, but it was confusing if this was part of the hostel or the hotel part of the accommodation. As we were considered part of the hostel, the bed sheets and towels were not included in the price, so we needed to pay extra (surprise at arrival). It is also confusing that there are 2 separate breakfasts: the 'hostel' and the 'hotel' breakfast. Although we haven't tried, but the hostel breakfast looked uninspiring. (even if you stay in one type of accommodation, you can choose the breakfast in the other one)

The hostel had a perfect location. I reached the centre of Hornstull, where metro station, bus station, restaurants and cafes are just by walking for 5 minutes in a beautiful park, always illuminated, even at night. The staff of the hostel were extraordinary, from organization to giving advices on visiting the city. I felt really safe and most importantly, CLEAN.I went as a solo traveler and my room was the perfect size. Another thing I liked was the temperature in the room. It was perfect, giving that outside there were under zero temperatures. All of this for wonderful prices, compared to others in that area. I would really recommend staying there… It made me appreciate the city without worrying about anything

I didn’t like leaving, cause it was perfect!

The staff is nice and helpful. The location, the surroundings, and the food were perfect—clean, cosy, warm and nice hotel. You must pay for the bedclothes, but it's not a huge difference in case of a longer stay. This is a weird thing for me but compared to the quality of the stay, it is only a minor disadvantage.

The bed was a bit narrow, only 140 cm. It was our fault, we didn't check it in advance. (I think there are wider beds in other rooms - depending on the type of the room.)

Staff were very friendly and accomodating, bedding and towels were provided at reception. Quaint little area, seemed perfect for a family vacation. Shared bathrooms were kept clean. Not far to walk to get to old town, alternatively, the bus came quite close to the hostel.

There was some building work going on right outside our bedroom window where they were putting up fences, it was quite loud from around 8AM so no chance of a lie in and womens shower facilities were really far away from our room.

In a trendy area of town, close to public transit hubs, grocery stores, bars and restaurants. The kitchen is large and well stocked and I actually like having individual lockers in the fridge for food, very good idea. Showers and bathrooms were fine, nothing fancy but had male and female showers as well as unisex bathrooms which I always appreciate. Everything was cleaned regularly.

Having to pay extra for sheets is weird. It's the first time in all my travels I've had to do that and it just leaves a bit of a bad impression to start. Just include that in the price like everywhere else? The rooms were also really hot, having a fan would have been nice. Kitchens were closed overnight which was annoying as we had to leave at 3am so had to take out our fridge stuff the night before. Otherwise everything was fine!

The breakfast was great! So many options and reasonably priced buffet tickets for children. The communal kitchen was beyond my expectations and there was so much indoor and outdoor seating! The beds were firm but super comfy, and the duvets and pillows were clean and fresh. There was never a line up for showers and they were clean both nights. The staff was exceptional. I’d misunderstood something over the phone and they fixed it as soon as I arrived. Super kind and helpful. By far the best experience I’ve ever had at a hostel. It’s perfect for families and it’s close to a playground, mini golf course, swim spot, hiking area, and a large park. We had a fantastic time :)

It is quite far from cheaper eating spots (at least that I could find), but there is an ica nearby so we just bought groceries and made dinner at the hostel :)

Kitchen, good sizes and several toilets available. Several employees 24h cleaning so with that and very good community, I could not find an instante that was not clean. I like that it is NOT a student hostel but you see people all ages.

They made me pay for bedlinen, even being a STF member. Beds are a bit difficult to climb for adults and rooms a bit small of you share (we took the whole room so that was ok for us)

Incredibly affordable, impeccably clean with a delightful staff. Really appreciated the guest kitchen. Spotlessly clean and a delight to prepare meals in. Perfectl location. In the city center but surrounded by peace and nature. Last but not least, there is a sauna available to have all to yourself for a very small fee. Many thanks for a brillant stay in Stockholm!

Did not experience one instance of displeasure.

Lovely area, with lots of green and 5 minutes walk from a pier. Quite conveniently placed: 10-15 minute walk from the metro and shops/restaurnts. Very kind, helpful staff. It was also nice to have a restaurant/coffee shop on site with outside and inside seating

Thin walls and wooden floors meant we heard our neighbors on all sides walking, closing doors, etc. Paying for bed linen and towels is also not the norm for every Swedish hostel nowadays, and unfortunately this lovely place still does that.

I jokily requested ABBA pics to be in our room, and lo and behold, I walk in and Bjorn's face is on my bed! ABBA pics were everywhere, they really went above and beyond and I found it hilarious and funny. I loved the attention to detail. The food was lovely, the staff were so nice, the beds were super comfy and quiet. Just an incredible stay.

The location was just sliiiightly far out, but maybe I was just being lazy because it was bloody freezing when I went! I still think everything else was superb.
