friendly helpful staff nice to have the free mini bar and free hot drinks throughout the day

breakfast wasn’t to my liking. Not enough choice. limited being intolerant to dairy. No hot food left when we came for breakfast. hence why we only had it one day would have been nice to have kettle in room

Excellent location - just a few stops on the tram from Basel SBB Station. Walking distance to a lot of great restaurants, tram stop was less than 100m away. Really friendly staff, hotel was clean and modern. Breakfast was good, with plenty of choice. Gym facilities were great. Really nice outside patio area in the shade to work, or relax.

Air-con or a better fan in the room would have been good as it was very warm, but apart from that everything was great!

The location was great just a few meters from the tram station and restaurants and shops. The staff weee great and helpful and the rooms were very quiet and the bed and pillows were very comfortable.

I expected coffee and tea available in the room as the picture of the room on booking. Com showed a tray of coffee and teas. I was surprised that this wasn’t available in the rooms although a coffee machine was available in the reception day and night. But wasn’t convenient to go down to bring coffee to the room every time you wanted a coffee or tea

I stayed at the hotel for 3 days, it exceeded my expectations, from the initial communication with the hotel, the ease of getting from the airport (which the hotel explained) The location was great, close to the Tram line and in my opinion, everything was within walking distance. The room was spotlessly clean, the staff at reception were professional and friendly. The breakfast was great, and the catering staff were exceptional and always happy and polite, the food was of a good quality. The hotel was just wonderful, and I would highly recommend it to friends and family.

If I plan another trip to Basel, there is no other place to stay for me. Super kind & lovely staff, perfect location (the riverside is 3 minutes walk, the tram station is 70 mt distance, and the hotel is so so close to all facilities and centre. The room was perfectly clean and comfortable, the little garden is a great zone for resting, having a coffee and reading your book. Dear leadies of the front desk, thank you so much for your warm welcoming. 🫶🏼

Great and small hotel in 'Klein Basel' district of Basel itself. Friendly people! There are different kind of breakfast possible in the hotel itself and the 'buffet' formula is more then worth it. Free of charge use of the Coffee machine and Mini Bar, great way of ending a nice day of visiting the City itself. Spacious parking possibilities under the hotel itself.

A bit hot in the room, but affordable to sleep when you open the windows.

Room, breakfast and location was great for us. It is located over the water away from the train station but the tram was super easy and quick. Walking from the hotel to the centre is simple too and only takes 10mins. Location was great for us and the room was lovely. The breakfast area is nice too with the garden available.

This hotel is lovely, maybe the gym could be a bit more spacious but to be honest most of the gyms in the hotels in switzerland are pretty small. Overall this is an amazing place to stay!

Perfect location, just a minute walk from the tram and bus stops. Minibar restocked daily.

Room a little small and bathroom amenities were dated. Shower cubicle was extremely small. No coffee making facilities in the room, though they do provide free tea and coffee in the lobby area. They also don’t provide an iron & ironing board, they have a communal “ironing room” concept which we found strange. Never the less, enjoyed our stay over all.

Great location. Very friendly staff (specially the lady at the breakfast, she was smiling all the time). Free minibar (water, coffee, tea and a bottle of water at check-out). Very clean room. Super close to public transportation (bus, tram). Easy reach from the airport (20-30 min). Free Basel card and thus free transportation and 50% discount on museums.

An airconditioning in the room would have been very much appreciated as it was very hot in the room (outside temperature was 38 degrees). Didn't sleep well for 2-3 night due to the high temperature in the room. Luckily there was a fan, but it didnt help much.

The hotel is located near Roche main buildings so if you are working for them or company nearby, then location is just spot on. I think even the best. The hotel itself is fine - everything is clean, in order and breakfasts are quite good as well. Very helpful and polite service, so this is great.

As almost everything is Swiss, it is terribly overpriced comparing to just any other main city in Europe or US. It is somehow understandable, as this is switzerland. The quilt/duvet is made from non-breathable fully sintetic material, so this is also not great.
