It's always great to visit your hotel. I come here every 2-3 months for delegation. I especially enjoy the fact that I have a studio with kitchen and fridge which is very helpful as I am on a diet and like to prepare meals by meself. * What's also great is that I don't have to come to the reception for ironing board and iron itself everytime I want to iron my shirts for work as it's on a basic setup of each studio. * It is also really nice from design point of view which allows me to record some of my youtube videos in the evenings. It's always clean and rooms welcome you with a lot of towels :) * And most importantly!... Studios give you a feeling of home so you can feel more relaxed and free as you stay in the hotel (which is really appreciated during business trips) :D * PS And the location is great!

The apartment had everything we needed and more. Even a dishwasher and coffee machine! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Supermarket along the road was perfect. The location was ideal for the Basel Tattoo - only 5 mins walk. Everything else was nearby with a short walk or free tram ride, the river only 5 mins away. Plenty to see and do. Fast and free wifi. Good value for money.

Rooms could have been cooler, there was no air conditioning but a different type of air system. It was fine if we opened the windows at night and made sure curtains were shut during the day. This suited us but several guests were finding it difficult.

This has been my second stay.I really love this place . The main reason for this is the staff.They are all so friendly and helpful from morning to night and would do anything for you. You always get some fresh fruit and a pastry snack at reception which makes you feel welcome every day. The apartment has everything you need for cooking your own meals. It's very well equipped and you can get any additional electrical items you need at reception. The bed is very comfortable and the place is very clean . Good location with supermarket and vegetable shop 1 minute away

The room was spacious, and I appreciated that it had sockets compatible with more than just Swiss plugs, making it convenient for me to use my laptop. The location was excellent, with plenty of options for restaurants, grocery stores, and more. The reception staff was welcoming and helpful, allowing me to store my luggage in their storage room until my taxi arrived. Check-in was quick, and everything was clean. Overall, I had a fantastic experience. Additionally, the Basel Card they provided was extremely useful and helped me a lot during my first few days in the city.

The receptionists were very helpful. They were well prepared with maps on which they marked Christmas markets and the closest trams. They also provided Basel cards which were helpful when moving around the city. The room was big, tidy and included a kitchenette ( the kettle, combined with the tea bags from reception kept us warm). Also there are other appliances in the lobby that you could borrow. The buffet breakfast was quite diverse (having the option to make fresh orange juice was appreciated).

No room cleaning during our 4 nights stay ( they let us know this when we did the check-in)

great layout with closable doors between rooms for quite and privacy when wanted in a smaller space.... well designed lay out for a 1 bedroom space. Everything we needed (food, transportation etc.) was in easy walkable distances. What a great neighborhood to walk and explore...hidden gems and views all around....a short walk to the ferry to cross the Rhein into the old city.....that is the way to go!

nothing to dislike ---would definitely stay again

Well-located, within easy reach of tram stops, shops and bars. The apartment kitchenette and balconies are great features. Anything not included in the kitchen utensils can be borrowed by asking Reception. Staff are friendly and helpful. ‘Air-con’ is not quite an accurate description for the ventilators, but we were very glad of the fans that were also in the apartment.

We arrived on August 30th in a heatwave and noticed a ‘borrow a picnic kit’ sign at Reception. Sadly when we requested one on the 1st September the Receptionist appeared to have no knowledge of it and when we checked the sign had gone, despite the good weather extending for another week! So perhaps management could be a little less rigid on date offers for such things.

The apartment space in each room was large and accommodating, and lots of space in the closets. The kitchen was fully equipped and there is a Coop (supermarket) really close, so you can get some supplies. There's an electric kettle and coffee machine as well. The bed was comfortable as well, but could have used one more pillow (this one goes on the minuses). There is a gym and Landy room, super useful. Internet connection worked really well too.

Really small minus: could have used another pillow and the room had like 4 windows with curtains that didn't fully kept the sunlight in the morning. Oh, and the chair a bit uncomfortable since only reached half of my back.

We were very pleased with our five-night stay at the Aparthotel Adagio Basel City. In the first place, despite all the warnings we had seen and heard about high prices in Basel, we found the cost of staying at the Aparthotel Adagio to be reasonable, especially as it included a BaselCard for each of us. Moreover, while our studio apartment was small, it was properly equipped and everything worked satisfactorily. In addition our studio was quiet and there was plenty of space for clothes, toilet articles, books and so on. The Adagio Basel City is on the north (east) side of the Rhine, about 20 minutes by foot from the heart of Basel. For two reasons we did not find that to be a problem: the area near the hotel has numerous restaurants and shops; and the combination of the BaselCard and the fabulous public transport network made it easy to get everywhere quickly and easily. Although apartments at the Adagio are above all functional and affordable, the architects and designers have done a lot to make them attractive. There are works of art in the rooms, corridors and staircases, and the choice of furniture and colors is harmonious. The clothes washing machines and dryers in the basement worked well and were, for us, a great convenience. (However, they were not inexpensive.)

We found that the vertical light fixtures in the studio were attractive but did not provide enough light in several parts of the studio.

Hotel was close to the museums,shops,center of the city. It was very easy to use transportations. I love the room. It was big enough; clean and you can find anything you need in the room. We bought groceries and cooked in the kitchen. There are restourants near by the hotel.The food was good. There is shop 'international shop' if you are home sick ,you can probably find your country stuff inside of the shop:)) Thanks you all hotel staff for the hospitality.
