I liked everything the cleanliness. The self checking. the vibe. the decor and the location. above all the customer services and 24/7 availability of customer services. I would like to mention Aicha who helped me the most and Maryem who was exceptionally great in providing help and support. I must say I have I haven't seen such dedicated customer services. Both of them resolved many issues that arised during my trip especially when my flight was cancelled and I had to extend the booking etc. great help. welldone to the whole team. God bless.

The hotel is well located close to the river and near the city center. It has a very tasteful interior design and is indeed cozy:-) There is no staff but with our questions we where very quickly helped by friendly staff over the online chat function.

-The Check In was a bit annoying with the Touch screen to enter code at the front door not working so well. -There are a LOT of emails. I think it would be possible to send less of them with still giving all the necessary information.

The check in was super easy. I was really nervous about the check in because of the reviews but it was so easy and seamless. The décor throughout the hotel is lovely, it's cute and bright. The room was spacious and the bathroom was clean. The property is very near a tram stop into Basel so it was ideal. There was also a nice park nearby, where a jazz band was playing at night. The room was quiet with the window closed.

The area felt slightly unsavoury at night. It was lovely during the day but at night it was not very nice. There was someone asleep on the couch in the common area for like 5 hours which was unfortunate because we could not use the coffee or tea section (which had no milk anyways). We had a scary incident at night, a man was banging on the door trying to get in and he did not seem to be the friendliest. Also be prepared for how expensive the restaurants in Basel are.

Life chat was very helpful and fast First room that was provided for me wasn't ready, Maryem from life chat support fixed everything fast and I got upgrade for free, thanks for that. As well as next day my request was answered fast and efficient. Wi fi fast, no problem with that

Cleanignes could be improved in rooms and kitchen Empty shampoo and conditioner in bathroom. Soccer is 'different shape', so I couldn't plug some of my devises, and couldn't charge my laptop Lounge area is big and cozy, there is free water and coffee, which is lovely, but no cups to use

Oh shoot we didn't realize there was breakfast. It wasn't mentioned and we woke up late. We liked the bed, the sheets, that we could control the heat, huge window, the lobby, the coffee machine etc. everything was nicely and calmly decorated. The check in and checkout process was so easy.

Maybe a full length mirror in the lobby or in the corridors.. During vacations it is hard to maintain looks and well lit mirrors help I think. Converters for the sockets would have been appreciated.

Honestly I don’t get all the bad reviews, I had an amazing stay and would definitely stay here again, I also recommended it to my friends. They upgraded my room with no extra costs and the room was very nice and cozy. I traveled in spring so the air was still pretty cold but the room was warm and the bathroom even warmer. It was also quiet and peaceful. The room was also very clean. The check-in was so easy: I received a code for the entrance door by email the morning of my stay, once inside you can see there’s like a screen and you just enter your info and then after you finish it’ll give your room number and you’ll receive an email with the code for the keys. The keys are inside a small box on your room door.

Location/neighbourhood, self service check-in procedure, big cozy lounge on ground floor, possibilty to stall our bikes safely in the small patio.

Bit too hot in the room (no airco), bath/shower a bit small and worn out. No coffee in stock in kitchen the last morning (stayed here 2 nights) - although the coffee is not for free (1 chf per cup) there was nothing in stock. And payment impossible when it comes to digital payment, the qr code to be scanned for payment didn't work. But ok, enough breakfast possibilities in the neigbourhood!

room was quite small, there is practically no space to leave your stuff. the bathroom was spatious, a bit old style but functional. there is no breakfast but there are machines to get you some snacks, coffe and tea you can pay for at the kitchen. the kitchen is similar to a hostel one.

I would have love to have had a table or something to put my basic stuff such as phone, wallet, etc... there is no much furniture in the room other than a place to hung your coats and a very small stair-like table to use as bed table.

Overall a nice stay for the price. However, we didn't like the check-in routine. As Swiss citizens spending a night in a Swiss hotel, we are unwilling to have to present a passport and worse yet, surrender its number to a Columbian [sic!] site with the .co domain ending. If this is even legal according do local data privacy laws, would have to be checked.

Great neighborhood. Cute lobby with an excellent living room and dining area. Ok kitchen. Clean room.

Obviously the check in. Nearly every single person I met had issues. Will say that Jenny, somewhere on the other side of the world was fantastic in the help chat. That place has so much potential. Pillow concierge is fired. Big pillows with lil to no filling.
