My apartment studio , was very clean , well located and equipped. Only 2 minutes walking from Wankdorf Bahnhof, with Sbahn ist only 3 minutes till the central station . The girls who’s are staying in the 8th floor are very helpful and friendly.

This is an excellent place to stay. The location is beside the railway station for Wankdorf Bern, which made it very easy to travel into the city and as a hub to travelling around Switzerland! The Accommodation has a clever use of space, with Bed sliding out to reveal an ampe double bed, and cupboards rolling to te side to provide flexible use of space. Then there is the communal space upstairs, where we cooked our main meal in the evening and met the very helpful staff. We also met other travellers, who provided interesting insights into different views about similar issues. You do need to be tech savvy as 'Keys' are on the Bluetooth on your phone. My Phone started playing up running out of battery extremely quickly, but this was addressed by the pleasant and helpful staff and I was issued with an electronic card. The place is not just clever, it also uses beautiful designs to enhance the look of the place. There is further communal space on the roof, where a Barbecue is supplied as well as a useful fridge among seating and tables. We had 2 rooms as we were two couples (Over 60s) and we loved the whole experience! We hope that they do expand their brand to more places as we would love to go again.

It might have been useful to have some instruction on the clever gadgets in the room as we were still discovering things 4 days after arrival! I appreciate that may be part of the point of the Kooook experience!

I’m very impressed with kooook. 1.the location is very good which is just next to the hotel. 2.kitchen, I had a studio room type and they have kitchen in the room with full furniture eg. pan, knight, electric cooker, and etc. but if you cook in your room it may smelly. they also provided kitchen with dining table at f.8 so I can enjoy it. they also provide seasoning like salt, pepper, papica and etc. 3.staff read and reply question pretty quickly and very supportive to simple questions 4.bed is fit for 2 adults 5. it’s coop next door but I was there on Sunday which they closed!! you can go migros at Bern anyway.

I’d recommended to change the tower color!! the current one looks old even it new!!!

I've never stayed in a hotel quite like this I wasn't prepared what to do exactly. Basically it's virtual check-in. There is no front desk. You will receive an email of how to check in and get a key on your phone. Then from your phone you unlock the front door and go up to your room and unlock your room. Interesting concept. Room was very clean and smelled very nice. There's a full kitchen and a big bed. However, when you want the full bed you just easily slide the cabinet/closet over and it reveals the full bed. Then in the morning when you get up and get out of bed, you slide the cabinet back and you have your full kitchen again. Pretty interesting. Also there's a nice entire floor where it's just a big room, with couches and chairs and activities where you can just hang out with a full kitchen and dining room table in there as well. Also there's an upstairs terrace open air. Free parking. Wi-Fi was great. Once you get your head around the concept, it was a great stay.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! One aspect that truly stood out to me was the brilliant design and practical layout of the room. Despite the compact size, the room offered surprisingly ample space to accommodate all our belongings comfortably. Moreover, the common kitchen was a game-changer, allowing us to prepare our own meals and avoid the hefty $30 breakfast charges that regular hotels impose. This feature not only saved us money but also added a new level of convenience to our stay. Additionally, the cozy common area with the pool table was a delight. It provided the perfect atmosphere for relaxation and socializing, making our evenings truly enjoyable. All in all, this hotel exceeded my expectations with its thoughtful design, excellent amenities, and cost-saving options.

Frequent trains right at the doorstop, rooftop terrace was nice with facilities to have BBQ If you wished, coop right next door. Modern vibe with a nice sitting area. Free bean to cup coffee which was a bonus

Reliance on your phone for all keys of the property, had to wait each time for WiFi to connect for every door required to open, you lose signal in the lift meaning you stand outside your door waiting to reconnect to open it. The lift was really frustrating for size of property it skipped our floor a lot and was full at times when it arrived. If you eat after 9am for breakfast you miss out on the provided condiments ie jams, butter etc.. it would be beneficial to replenish, only saw member of staff on check in.

Very nice room, with clever use of space and well equipped kitchen area. Pleasant communal area, with shared facilities (coffee, tea, snacks, yoga mats) and a rooftop area. Lots of interesting design touches.

There were no staff physically on hand to answer questions, but they did respond quickly to my messages. The online checkin and electronic keys system works well - I don't have mobile data on my phone when in Switzerland, but there is access to WiFi from outside the front door, so once you connect you can use the keys. The location is outside Bern – and it doesn't seem to be a vibrant area – but it is right next to the station and the transport connections back to the city are excellent.

Great room layout with a separation between bedroom, kitchen and restroom, which really maximizing the available space. Really love the interior design, cute and functional. Happy with the in room facilities (microwave, water heater, up to the kitchen utensil) and the common room facilities (dining table, bigger kitchen, game room, pool table and laundry room). Like the digital keys and “no staff” concept so that you feel like staying in your own home with the comfort of a hotel. BUT, you need to make sure that you fill in the guest list before you come to get your digital keys. While not a big issue, location is not in the city center, so you need to commute to most tourist spots. But conveniently, the hotel located next to train station and bus station. Additionally there’s Coop CVS on the ground floor of the building, which is very convenient for breakfast or small grocery.

excellent use of the family studio space. with spaces for everyone to hang out. very clever use of the flexible space between the kitchen and extra bed. felt spacious. shower great. the common space very congenial and a great kitchen. loved the industrial vibe of the surrounding area. we didn’t mind it was one stop up from Bern train station. great fun to scooter in to town. or 10 min train ride. the place is literally right next to the train station. easy to check in. codes to get in all authenticated by phone. with near field recognition like paying for something with apply pay.
