Everything! As the name says, very Unique! Mariann, owner, welcomed us so warmly. As in the hotel description the theme is Jazz. We stayed in one of the Jazz rooms, with views to Old Town, and distant views to snow capped peaks. Magical really! Room was spacious and decor stylish in line with hotel theme. Bed wonderfully comfortable and the bathroom a good size and well equipped. We sadly stayed just outside of the jazz performances down in the purpose built basement, but can imagine just how enjoyable an experience that would be. We received a bus ticket for the duration of our stay, and with the bus stop right outside the hotel it was super easy and quick to reach the city and Old Town. This hotel is away from the hustle of tourism, yet absolutely close enough to reach within 10 minutes. The restaurant is beautiful, has lovely staff and delicious food. A fantastic find!

The room size was great. The location is beautiful, but it is a bit of a walk from the old town. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The pictures made it seem that there were Jazz concerts at the hotel all year round. That's why we booked it, however when we arrived we found out that there weren't any concerts for the entire summer at the hotel. If I knew that ahead of time, I would've booked something in the old town.

Hotel really clean, with friendly staff, easy parking and stylish bar. Excellent views over Bern and good location, not cetral but a comfortable walk from the city or 5 minutes by free shuttle bus.

Everything was fine, but the hotel is just a bit dated. In case of reduced mobility, do ask for a flat shower, as the rooms had a bath-shower. Frankly, really good.

all surrounding, atmosphere, view, breakfast, jazz club, location, friendly staff, food, etc. My son forgot his favorite jacket and they saved it for him!!! When I booked, I just concerned about location (a bit outside of centre of city) but it turned out only 5 min bus ride and hotel is next to Japanese Embassy. So it is a prime location. You can see Swiss Alps while you eat breakfast!!! Trust me. Stay there in Bern.

It is a beautiful hotel and the owners of the hotel are so nice and helpful. It feels like staying at home. Every bit was looked after. I am surely coming back to this hotel. This made our switzerland trip rememberable. Thankyou Mariane, you are a star.

The room was amazing very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Lots of little extras as well. The staff were very friendly and courteous and the location ideal for us. Just out of the main centre so not too busy but a nice 15/20 minute walk in or bus stops just outside.

This place has an amazing view of the city and mountains. You can take a breakfast on the terrace and enjoy the view. The hotel also provided me and my family with an unlimited ticket for public transport in the city and the surrounding area for the duration of our stay. Personal were super polite and friendly. We enjoyed our stay here and it's a strong 10!

Lovely old interesting building with loads of character. Great helpful reception and staff. Really lovely family run hotel about 10 minutes walk from Bern.

It was just a great stay although you need to have deep pockets because it’s expensive. Not one for the low budget traveller.

Very nice and cosy hotel. The restaurant and service is amazing. You can really feel the history of this hotel and the jazzy atmosphere.
