The staff were lovely and very accommodating to any little extras or questions we had. Bedroom was a little smaller than we had expected but we were 4 adults in a family room and we managed. Location was wonderful and within walking distance to the boat port and bus pickup. We had a rental car and this was useful to visit neighbouring Grindelwald and Interlaken as using the ferry boats for all these trips would have been very expensive. Not really many choices of places to go in the evening for a drink or meal if walking but the breakfast in the hotel was excellent and a huge choice - we loved it! I can highly recommend this hotel for value for money, comfort, cleanliness and location. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends.

A very minor issue but there wasn't enough toilet paper for a family room on arrival but this was quickly rectified. The bed was a little hard but that's just my preference and it wouldn't put me off staying again.

The location was lake side, in front of Brienz so the view was awesome! Should be the best location during spring or summer, but we came in during pre-winter, it was soooo cold. The breakfast had choices so it was okay. The rooms were comfortable.

No reception area, no staff after 4-5PM. You are on your own when checking in and checkin-out. We had to walk to the bus station at pitch dark due to early train ride. Communication with anything needed is via booking .com site only. If you're not used to self-service hotels then this is not for you. For the amount I paid, I fell there should at least be a person at the desk to help us for anything, not sure why there was none...

Iseltwald is a beautiful village and Bellevue has an amazing location right at the lake. It is just a few mins walk from the bus-stop and the ferry station. We took x 2 lake facing rooms with balcony for 2adults and 2kids (Kids loved it as it came with free netflix) The view is amazing and quite, away from all the city hustle bustle, one would look forward to waking up to that view. The breakfast had good spread compared to european standards. Staff and Service was also very good.

Rooms could have been slightly bigger, as if you have 2 medium or big bags it might get in the way. There was no elevator, so for heavy packed travellers like us may need to lift the bags to the room while check in and checkout

This location is AMAZING! We loved that it was out of the way from the main tourist area, and with the most beautiful views from the room. A true hidden gem. Check out the cute little dive bar down the road from the hotel too for a nice afternoon drink break.

The walls are thin and voices below us traveled up. However, it's really just people enjoying their vacation and no one was too loud past 10:30pm. There aren't a lot of restaurants nearby, but you can quickly drive down to Interlaken for options.

Stunning location overlooking the lake. We had a room with a balcony and enjoyed sitting outside taking in the view. Excellent breakfast could be taken inside or outdoors at the edge of the lake. Free parking outside. Surrounding scenery is fabulous. Many low and high level hiking opportunities in the area as well as other attractions. We visited the Aare Gorge, Reichenbach Waterfall and used the Triftbahn cable car to access the hike to the Triftbrücke. All thoroughly recommended. Lots of dining options in Interlaken. We had a great time and would consider returning to Bellevue if we come back to the area in the future.

A fridge would have been a welcome addition.

Friendly staff and amazing location

No one at the reception from evening to morning so when there is an urgent need there is no one and not clear what to do.

You can not beat the view! The included breakfast was excellent, staff was super friendly, rooms were clean. Had a refrigerator that was shared among the whole building, every other place we stayed didn't have a fridge available at all.

A large part of the reason I booked this place was the outdoor space photos. Almost none of the seating in the photos was there when we stayed in early June. Also note that this area is pretty remote, there are only a few restaurants in Iseltwald. We had good choices for lunch but dinner was a little more formal than we were looking for.

This has been the most beautiful place I have ever seen! The scenery is unreal! The surroundings were beyond beautiful! So peaceful! The hotel itself was great too. The room and restroom were ample and clean. A very quiet place. The breakfast was full of options (boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, coffee, juices, breads, cheeses left and right, yougurts, fruits). I WILL comeback here. It truly became my favorite place in the world.

The best of the best hotel in Iseltwalt. The unique hotel located in the real center just in front of the Lake side that present you the fantastic view of the Seeburg(lake castle) and beautiful mountains and Brienz lake in front of you in your terrace. We are just in the center of the Iseltwalt where we can enjoy the spectacular natural scenery. Breakfast is so delicious and variety with breads, vegetables, kinds of ham and cheeses, fresh drinks in a cozy restaurant. The owners are very kinds with smile always.

Nice cozy hotel with beautiful view and delicious breakfast. Very friendly staff and clean rooms. Breakfast dinning area has a beautiful view of the lake and mountain.

It's location is not that convenient if you don't have a car. It takes about twenty minutes by bus from the Interlaken Ost train station. They don't have many places to eat after 7pm around here.
