Amazing location and view for the price , friendly staff, clean bath. From my room you can clearly the beautiful lake and a little bit of the waterfalls across the river.

I believe this hotel has SO MUCH potential only if they upgrade the style of the rooms, like choose an all white linen etc… so it all looks uniformed because the view is AMAZING and I know for sure that people would pay way more to stay here. Pictures need updating, from the room it doesn’t show the view, I suggest to take a picture of rooms that has balcony as this is what people are looking for. Also, it was a little bit too loud as people would need to pull the door with force for it to close but overall a good stay.

The hotel is in a good location, near the station, right next to the lake. The bed was comfortable. There was a sink and two mirrors in the room. The breakfast is nothing special, but the staff is very nice. You can also leave your bags after check-out. The room with a view outside the lake also has a very nice view of the town and the mountains.

Only one very old bathroom on the entire floor. It is very noisy to sleep with the window open.

location is perfect, the rooms were confortable and with an amazing view of the lake. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the breakfast was simple but delicious, I really had a good time staying there and I would come back.

the place feels a little old, but nothing too bad, could be a problem for someone looking for a more luxurious place to stay, for more flexible travelers is more than perfect. Booking made me rent two rooms to be able to accommodate 3 persons but in one of the 2 rooms there was 3 beds, I really don’t get this and it was around 70 chf extra for the second room, still not a problem, but it’s a little disappointing to spend more money than needed.

The room that I stayed in was much bigger than expected! The breakfast every morning was sooo nice, as a cheese lover I loved all the different kinds of cheeses we could choose from. I had a balcony which was very nice, looking out over the Brienz lake. A wonderful place, would stay here again if I'm in Brienz.

Sometimes I heard the neighbours kids yell through the walls, but other than that never a noise complaint. I slept well.

I booked the cheapest single room which was only slightly more than what other places were charging for a shared dorm room. My room was much nicer than expected with a lovely balcony overlooking Lake Brienz. Hotel is run by a lovely old lady Monique and her daughter and has a really friendly family feel. They have lots of interesting original historic tourist posters, one of which I was able to buy as a souvenir. I look forward to bringing my family here next time we are in Switzerland.

Neighbouring room has a shared bathroom door which is not soundproof!

The retro style interior was very cool, like stepping into the 70/80’s! The rooms are spacious, everything was in working order and we had a balcony with a view over the lake which was beautiful. The staff are very friendly and it feels very much like you are apart of their home, great community vibe! The breakfast is delicious too 😊

The pillows made sleeping difficult as they are big and soft. There is no kettle or microwave which could have been nice for hot drinks.

It was called an Economy Room but it was better than many "normal" rooms I have stayed in. Great hotel in an amazing location with lake swim point right behind it. Special thanks to Maria the receptionist who was very friendly and helpful. I cam by bicycle and they were very helpful accommodating that

The room is clean, better than expected for the price. There's basin and mirror inside the single room. The bathroom and WC are shared in corridor. Just behind is the lake Brienz, good relaxing walk or sit along lakeside. There's a good small pizza & beer restaurant nearby.

The location of the hotel was amazing right next to the sea and in the mountains. I love the staff service and morning breakfast provided there to me. The staff was very soft spoken and listened to us patiently and then helped too.

Excellent location, and the view from the rooms is great. If you want to relax while soaking in the great Swiss view, just get a lake side room here. :) Breakfast is simple, but has enough options to cater to various taste buds. Rooms are spacious and have simple but pleasing wood decor.
