The hotel is located at Ringgenberg, which can be easily accessed using bus 102 from Interlaken OST. From the bus stop, it takes about 5 mins walk to reach the hotel. Alternatively, you can also take train from Ringgenberg-Interlaken, but the frequency is every hour. This is the hotel that offers the most beautiful view in my entire Swiss trip. The balcony overlook Brienzersee lake, with a few famous peak as back drop. We bought some food and wine, just sat at the balcony and enjoyed the view for hours. What’s more, our room, at the top floor, comes with a sunroof over the bed. You can absolutely star gazing till you fall asleep. The hotel offers standard breakfast and also some paid services like laundry.

The elevator only goes up to Level 3. So if you’re like us, staying at Level 4, be prepared to carry your luggages to your room via the staircase.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel has fantastic views from the deck and breakfast room of the lake. They have a bar on site, so you can have drinks on the deck. They even have light lunch snacks like grilled sandwich or small pizza. There is a small elevator just off the loby big enough for 2 persons and 2 carry-ons. We had the "small" room, but it was still very comfortable. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the Ringgenberg-Post bus stop. If you arrive by rail, you can take the 102 bus from Interlaken Ost to save a hefty taxi fee. If the times work out, you can also take a local train (R70) once an hour for one stop from Interlaken Ost to Ringgenberg station, which is a 4-5 minute walk from the hotel

The breakfast was a little disappointing. Although we were pleasantly surprised to find waffles and syrup available, which we had not seen at any other hotel in our 3 weeks of travel across Europe, we were sad that the only form of eggs available were raw eggs and a boiling water bath with instructions for how long to cook them for soft, medium, and hard.

Everything here are super nice. Confirmed all staffs in the hotel was very welcoming, friendly and informative. They will make your stay more comfort and feel like home. We're greeted by Ms.Brigit, she was supper nice and attentive, helping us on every request. Hotel location was great, close to the bus stop and train station, View towards Lake Brienz was amazing. Comfy and clean room. Breakfast is awesome, we had much enjoyed nice and full meal every morning, also enjoyed "MaMa" instant noddle which we're not expected to see here and make us feel like home. We stayed here for 4 nights. It was a good memories for us in Switzerland. Will recommend to our friends and coming back again for sure.

My fiancé and I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in early July. We were given a lot of helpful information at the start of our stay, and all of our questions about the hotel and area were answered. The views of the lake and mountains are breathtaking. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and very clean for us. We highly recommend a balcony room for the serene atmosphere. No issues with noise from other rooms. The hotel is only 10 minutes away to the Interlaken train station by bus, and the hotel gives you a complimentary bus card for free bus rides to Interlaken during your stay. They have refreshments and beers inside of a large fridge available 24/7 downstairs and you just let the staff know what you took. We will definitely be back for the winter. Breakfast was very nice, and included waffles, cereals, eggs, toast, fruits, coffee, juices, meats, cheeses, oatmeal, yogurt, and other items. The staff working the breakfast was very friendly and attentive to us. The front desk staff do leave at 9pm but we felt very safe and secure overnight. They have system where you will need a key to enter the hotel after 9pm and it worked just fine for us. The hotel also has plenty of parking, as well.

Fantastic views on both sides.. Mountains and chalets on one side, beautiful lake on other. Good breakfast and drinks available in the morning. Easy travel links by bus or train into town, though lots of parking space as well. Local shop and restaurant within walking distance. Very helpful host kindly allowed us store our luggage outside of our stay hours.

Standing shower a little cramped, but didn't mind too much. Nothing much really to complain about, had a great time. If using public transport, check times as train into town is every hour and buses are every half hour.

lake view fr room balcony is unbeatable!! location is perfect next to the rail station. room is spacious with the queen bed and toilet is all good. Breakfast is lovely! learn to love the hot chick pea soup in the morn! love the variety and friendly staff!

balcony was smoking corner for my neighbour, unfortunately (was there a rule no smoking at balcony?). so we couldnt open window so was hard to sleep in the stuffy room some nights. Do note the steep slope to walk up from the rail station if that is a challenge for you.

The serenity and beauty of the location are truly unparalleled. A delicious breakfast with a variety of fresh, local options awaited me each morning. From Swiss cheeses to freshly baked pastries and a selection of teas and coffees, it was the perfect way to start the day. The rooms were spotless, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. It truly felt like a home away from home.

There was a brief mix-up with my reservation. It could have been a potentially stressful situation, but the hotel staff handled it with grace, professionalism, and warmth. The way they resolved the issue was truly remarkable.

Hotel Brienzersee has the excellent location overseeing the lake. View from the hotel is exceptional and stunning. We stayed at the room facing the lake and the view was breathtaking. The Host Carmen was very warm and pleasant and welcoming. The breakfast spread was wide with choice selection of the various fruits and cheeses. I highly recommend this place in Interlaken Although it is a few km away from Interlake Ost station in Ringenberg, the hotel provides free bus passes to Interlaken Ost which was a very useful and thoughtful. I would certainly stay here again in my next visit to Interlaken

Excellent is the only word I can say about this hotel. Location, comfort, cleanliness, stunning views, staff, breakfast , you name it and everything was perfect, definitely recommended for families ( I was with my 2 kids)... Location is very easily accessible from interlaken ost via bus 102 - direct stop at ringgenberg post, 2 mins walk from hotel Comfort - excellently designed rooms with balcony which have a stunning lake views, i think one of the best views of the lake... Staff - very welcoming and accomodative... Breakfast was excellent with lot of variety... In all a very very good place to stay...definitely recommendable...
