This is a beautiful hotel in a perfect central location, very reasonable in price (especially for the region). The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was plentiful, with delicious fresh bread, fruit, cheese, eggs--and loads of choice. The room was comfortable and cleaned daily. As expected, I had an en suite toilet and washbasin, with a shower on the corridor, but there was never competition for the shower. Having some mobility difficulties I was pleased that there was a lift to my second-floor room, the shower was accessible and there were just a couple of steps to navigate.

The room was quiet enough with the window closed, but a bit noisy in the mornings if it's opened (though this can't be helped in such a central location). The shower room is a little small making it hard to move around and get dressed.

My recent stay at Hostellerie du XVI Siècle was delightful. From the moment we walked in, the staff's warmth and helpfulness made us feel right at home. The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and boasted the kind of comfort that made winding down after a day of work an absolute pleasure. Plus, the hostel's prime location meant that everything we needed was just a stone's throw away.

If I had to nitpick, it would be that the walls are a tad thin, allowing some noise from neighboring rooms to seep through. However, this minor inconvenience paled in comparison to the overall fantastic experience. I wholeheartedly recommend Hostellerie du XVI Siècle to anyone seeking a cozy and convenient stay in Nyon.

Isolation not that good Special message for the person in the room next door Thank you so much to start making call at 6:30 in the morning and scream on your phone. I have no idea how this person was capable to do a monologue of almost two hours without letting the other person speak. Your conversation had no sense, and how can you put 5x a “anyway” in each of your sentence. This has nothing to do with the hotel which is perfectly fine but I truly hope that my neighbor can see this message.

Thé warmth and sincerity of the welcome; unfailing helpfulness of hosts and staff; clean and comfortable; great restaurant with ambience and location making this superb value for money for guests who care about true hospitality.

As a highly mobile professional, having an area set up with a couple of work stations and a printer would have been welcome, but with my budget, the hotel exceeded expectations in every other way. I

Location very central to all shops, train/bus. Room very roomy and excellently fitted out. Breakfast included in the price, and excellent choice and swift service. Meals (lunch/dinner) optional and very good value for 3 courses. Excellent food. Staff could not do enough for me, from front of house to cleaning staff. I would recommend this place highly.

I cannot think of a thing to improve. Never have I stayed anywhere so perfect.

The hotel was in an excellent location, just round the corner from the castle, which boasts excellent views of the lake and the mountain ranges. The room itself was basic but spacious and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the ensuite had a hot, powerful shower and some of the fluffiest towels I've ever seen; what more could you ask for? The breakfast was complimentary for my room rate and was pleasant, the staff were friendly, the coffee was good, and there was a selection of pastries, meats/ cheeses, fresh bread and yoghurts to choose from. I'd definitely recommend this hotel.

I luckily had basin and toilet in my twin room, not all rooms do. Spiral stone staircase. Singles look very small - just room for the bed- but you wont spend any time in your room. Good breakfast in outdoor restaurant with salami cheese croissants etc. Can leave luggage at restaurant after checkout., Has a lift. Great location near castle for view and walk down to Yvoire ferry

Might get hot in summer. Share shower- tiny dressing area a bit less than 1m x1m- large person would need to step into wet shower to open door inwards.

This hotel is antique XVI century mansion and a real treasure in a very heart of amazing beautiful Nyon town just 15 min away from Geneva by train. And with excellent swimming beach near by the lake Leman. The owner of hotel and staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is very good. Nyon is a true discovery with gorgeous decorative plants around Roman Castle all over the hill with a splendor view to Leman lake. Easy ferry boats from Nyon across the lake. Highly recommend for a relaxing stay!

No complaints at all.

The staff was exceptional, always looking after our needs. The room was most adequate and located right in the heart of the old city, walking distance from shops and the friends we wanted to visit. The breakfast was most generous.

I would have liked to have had some plain yogurt, either made fresh or in a container. All the yogurts had flavors.

It was really nice & authentic. The room was small but cute! Breakfast was DELICIOUS. The staff was super nice and the room was very clean I loved the vibe in the morning with all the regular customers who come for coffee & a chat :)

The shower was shared & it was very clean and available when I needed it but I think it would be nicer to have them in the rooms.
