We took our nephew and his bride here on their honeymoon, and they were astonished by the luxury. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us, upgrading the newlyweds to a huge room with a spectacular view. The service across-the-board was excellent. My husband and I ourselves were in an executive double room, which was also huge, with loads of closet space, a large bathroom with soaking tub and separate shower, excellent amenities, mini-bar, coffee-maker, and a fabulous bed. (We had a "park view" but we could see the mountains too -- it was lovely). The spa and pool were terrific: comfortable, immaculate, and spacious. The breakfast buffet was generous and varied. We were hot, tired, and grumpy when we arrived at the RoyAlp, but the staff was superb and took excellent care of us.

This is simply a note to travelers: Be careful navigating! For some reason, when we put the hotel address into Google maps and our GPS, the GPS kept directing across across the valley to a town called Leysin. To get the the RoyAlp, use the town of Villers-sur-Orlon as your destination instead.

Overall it was an exceptional experience! Every staff member was immensely helpful and polite, the services and food was impeccable! Would highly recommend!

Location is a bit far from some tourist sites, taxis are expensive. If the hotel could provide a cheaper shuttle service to key tourist attractions that could make it better

The entire establishment was fantastic! We must give a special recognition to Botond whose service went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. The cozy rooms, delicious cuisine and the tranquil ambiance made our stay unforgettable.

Great Breakfast, great location and despite being near full capacity the staff were available and attentive and the property was calm.

The room said with mountain and gracier view but our floor was 2nd floor and too low to see the mountain. We had very little view unfortunately.

It seems that the staff is not very well trained or there is a lack of management. The service at the dinner was unapropriate. The transfer price was not correctly informed by the trainee at the reception.

Rooms are big, great view, great Christmas atmosphere, incredible spa and service in spa.

Very long service in the restaurant, no regulations of temperature in the room, cold flooring in the bathroom.

The room is huge, with several wardrobes, balcony with beautiful view, bathtub and shower. I liked the home like ambiance of the whole place. Excellent breakfast with big choice of foods. Superbe swimming pool too!
