The hotel was right next to the train station which was perfect for us! It’s a very central hotel without the noise from the city. Our room was clean, comfortable and had a nice bathroom including bath products.

There was no host, staff or anyone in the building to greet us or give us any insight on our stay.. they only had self check in and rooms were ready at 3pm. Room availability time is normal, but because there was no staff around we had no clue where to put our luggage in the meantime. We were most excited for the restaurant/cafe and the rooftop.. both were CLOSED and we couldn’t ask anyone why since no staff was present! Lol. The cafe opened on Tuesday which was nice for our last afternoon there but we still weren’t able to go to the rooftop. big bummer! A staff member present would make all the difference!!

We were very satisfied with the room. The check in was unusual as it was completely self check in. We couldn't comment on the staff as we didn't see any. The cafe/bar downstairs were helpful. The breakfasts were served at the hotel around the corner and they were really good.

Location and room. It is walking distance from Zurich HB and meeting place for the tour we purchased. We took uber from the train station only to find out it is walking distance. We walked there when we left. The room - even though it was a bit tiny, it worked for my husband and I. It’s actually pretty cute and clean!

Arrived in Zurich via train at 11:30. We decided to have lunch nearby before heading to the hotel since check in is at 2pm. We finished early and decided to head to the hotel hoping we could check in a little early (arrived there at around 1:30). We were told we have to wait til 2 to check in. So we sat at the cafe. There is no front desk. Check in is self service but easy enough.

The deluxe room was spacious with a 6 foot bed and lovely bathroom with a shower and Molten Brown toiletries, hairdryer and tissues. A good Nespresso coffee machine for coffee lovers and a large in-drawer safe. With the windows closed and air con on low, you were cool enough and you could not hear the trains, remarkable really as the hotel is next to the station tracks, a 5 minute walk from the terminal. The sister hotel lent us an adapter plug to charge our phones - the EU plug does not work!

Self check-in would have been challenging without cafe staff on hand! When it asks for your Nationalitlity you cannot scroll the options so you need to tap your finger in the box and type in British - you need to have this or your passport details will not match! If you like tea, bring your own tea bags, only fruit tea offered, no milk either, only cream! The surfaces are black and dark green, so if you arrive at night, you may need your phone torch until you get your bearings!!

Rooms were lovely and cosy, with nice molton brown products in the bathroom. Very nice bathroom with good shower pressure.

Check in system is not efficient, it’s self check in with an iPad. There was a long queue for this when we arrived and it took us over 30 minutes of waiting in the cafe area to get checked in. It requires a lot of information input so takes people time to do. A very kind member of staff did offer to check us in using his laptop but his laptop wasn’t working so this wasn’t an option either. Also there is luggage storage in a locked room, but be mindful that the key for this is attached to a chalkboard for individuals to grab and use.

Very close to the central train station. Room.is extremely quiet,.Very large and most convenient and comfortable. Well-equipped. Many power sockets near bed.

Water pressure in the shower was quite weak. While there are 3 large windows in the room, they all face very close windows from adjacent buildings and are equipped with opaque curtains only. The room has only several small lamps, which combined with the opaque curtains, make the room quite dark (no lighting on the ceiling). When arriving by car, parking is at the Montana hotel, 50 meters away, but it's quite confusing to enter the parking because you need.to go first.to the Montana so they can let you in the parking (which anyway costs 30 CHF per night). This might be a nuisance upon check-in.

After reading previous reviews we were initially a little concerned re the size of the room (Wispy room) and size of the bed. Yes, room is "compact" but bed was ample enough for myself & my husband who is 6 ft tall. Very comfortable. Bathroom well equipped and spotlessly clean. Suited our needs of a late overnight stay with early train out of Zurich.

We found the self service check in machine a little problematic due to the drop down boxes not allowing us to enter our correct info. Due to the late time of our arrival, there were no staff around to assist.

The location is superb, straight out of the front door cross the road and you're on platform 18 of the station. There is a massive shopping centre under the station, with many places to eat and every museum or tourist attraction is close by. Its a 1 mile stroll to the lake and there are lovely gardens and parks on either side of the lake. The hotel is very smart, the room was a very generous size with a larger than average shower cubicle, coffee machine and black out blinds. Cant really fault anything about the place.

Its not a fault, but you check yourself in by a large tablet located in the coffee bar which is located on the ground floor. If you have any queries there is a phone number to ring. The hotel is a sister hotel of Hotel Montana which is 2 minutes away across the street and if you really need to speak face to face with someone you go there. Its not a problem.

centrally located close to train station. very clean rooms. easy self check in but only for those that are familiar with technology. not recommended for people without basic digital skills.

actually is not a “hotel” like the typical ones. more like apartment hotel without reception. at the end it was very easy to do the check in but you need to do that in the cafe downstairs. breakfast served outside the building, close, to another hotel. didn’t have the time to try it. just mentioning

The location is excellent, in easy walking distance of the main train station. The room had good sound-insulation, as although it was right on the street, there was no disturbing noise. The information received was on point and made check-in and check-out easy and flexible.

The room was very small without any proper desk space, making it difficult to work. There are some touch-up repairs needed in the bathroom and furnishings to make the difference between a good and an excellent review.
