The room was AWESOME! I upgraded from a single to a suite as plans changed and a friend joined me for the trip. We are not in a relationship which meant I wanted separate sleeping areas. The suite had two bathrooms and a wonderful pocket door providing both of us privacy. It was wonderful! This was my second time staying here, love the rooms, love the service, and love everything about the hotel. The location couldn't be better as it provides such immediate access to the train station as well as the shopping options of the Haufbhanstrasse as well as the shopping at the train station. Couldn't say enough good about this location or the staff. I feel like I'm being pampered and enjoying life to the fullest when I'm here. I'll be back, for sure!

The only thing they could have done better was found me a Swiss wife while I was visiting. :)

Best location in the city. Always book a hotel across from the train station as that is the centre of town and walkable to many attractions. Breakfast was excellent....fresh made omelets and good choice of breakfast food including fruit. Beautiful room and nice bathroom (although a little on the small side).

Air Conditioning quit one night so room very hot (outside temperatures had been in the high 20's all week) so that was uncomfortable. A/C was finally fixed the next day. Asked for a room rate reduction that night and was advised that would be accommodated. Thought they should have offered it without having to ask for it.

The hotel room I had was excellent - very spacious and comfortable. The room service for an evening meal was excellent - very good food and delivered in a timely manner. You certainly can't beat the location of the hotel - conveniently located across the street from the main train station. In addition, the hotel is located near shops, including underground shops.

While the breakfast was excellent, I felt that the one of the breakfast staff was a bit detached, i.e., a bit "cool" or lacking in a bit of friendliness. When I thanked the staff for their service as I was leaving the breakfast room, that one person who was part of the staff that waited on me just looked away when I said "Thank you" to her with my looking in her direction. I always thanked the staff when they delivered an item to my table. To be fair, other staff members that waited on me were warm and friendly. Another thing that I didn't like was that even though check-in was at 3:00 PM, I had to wait an additional 45 minutes in the bar area since my room wasn't ready at 3 PM.

Such a beautiful hotel right across the street from the main train station, which we loved after a full day of train travel. Fabulous big room with triple glazed windows so no street noise at all. Wonderfully comfortable bed, excellent bathroom with surprising little touches like good quality face creams. Very good breakfast in a pleasant dining room, lovely helpful staff. Old-fashioned excellence and attention to detail - we loved it!

Nothing at all - it's fabulous and I highly recommend it. Shout out to the train website "the man in seat 61" which is where we discovered it. We hope to return!

Location was very convenient. Right across from the train station which can get you to anywhere in the city. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Porters were very attentive and had our bags waiting for us in our room when we got back from exploring the city. Breakfast was top-notch and complimentary. The little touches were great between the chocolates and fresh fruits in the room, dinner recommendations from the concierge, the drop-in from the butler with the chocolate trolley!

Everything in Zurich's expensive, and the cost per night at this hotel is no exception. Given the options, this was definitely the best value!

Schweizerhof is a wonderful Swiss style hotel but thought out in a very contemporary manner. Interiors are cosy with a distinctive character. Our room was comfortable and equipped with every gadget you can think of: coffee machine, hot water pot, smart tv, even a bed with reclinabile top. Bathroom is tiny but comfortable and breakfast was just on point with a nice touch of champagne by the glass which is just a cool treat. Staff is incredibly friendly and willing to accommodate all our requests, even a late checkout with valet parking at 4pm. We will definitely refer to this hotel for our next stay in Zurich.

Top quality hotel and exceptional service and all staff were very friendly from reception to bar to breakfast and housekeeping. The hotel is beautiful as the charm of European’s style (it’s different from Asia where it’s super grand can sometimes feel superficial). Very tidy, clean and neat. the hotel has a small heater in the toilet that hangs the towels which we use to hang our smaller clothings after a quick wash. Location is opposite the train station (Zurich Hauptbahnhof) and everything was super accessible.

If I must, I would request a rubber mat for the bathtub.

Breakfast options could have been better.

The bed could have been a bit more comfy and DO NEED TO HAVE FAN in room.

The cleanliness and the location are appreciated.

When we chose this hotel we found the price was included a lot of items and mini bar was one of them. When we were in the room, we could not find any price of the food inside the mini bar, in this sense we thought all the foods inside are free of charge. Of course not, when we checked out in the next morning, the lady in the counter said the foods in the mini bar are not free and they said only the fridge is free 🥲🤣🤣.

Fantastic location. 1min walk across the road from Zurich HB train station which was perfect for getting to/from airport and Lucerne and for exploring Zürich. Could easily and safely walk to anywhere we wanted to go. Would give 10/10 for location. Staff friendly, they were extremely helpful in the lead up to our stay, and offered a generous check out time of 2pm hotel was very charming - Rooms were more of the “traditional” style, but this is what we expected and wanted for our Swiss stay :) Breakfast was fine. Varied selection and nice service. other Cafe downstairs looked lovely but we didn’t use it.

The bed was clean and comfortable, but we found the pillows to be very flat and a bit uncomfortable! we probably could have requested different ones
