I stayed in Switzerland for 10 days in 4 different places, 3 other places provided the very soft and thin pillow which is very difficult to sleep, only Novotel gave the good pillow we need! I was at first sorry worry about location being too far out from city, in fact it’s very convenient to take tram number 4 to go to city without change or transfer of tram.

check in process is not smooth, I could only check in at 3.45pm when it was supposed to be 3pm

Nice hotel, clean rooms, friendly stuff, close to the public transport, available underground parking, indoor swimming pool, although it is very small, it's enough to get relaxed after a busy day. At the reception you can buy tickers for the public transport, which is very convenient.

Location is very good for business travellers going ot the tech park but not great for tourists (not on a walking distance from the city centre). You have to use the public transport, which is very clean and safe but going to the old town takes 25 minutes. Good thing is that you can use only one tram line. No changes. The high prices for staying in Zurich at all.

Our stay was wonderful! The room was nice, clean, comfortable, AC, & had a pull-out sofa for our children. We greatly appreciated & enjoyed the pool. The playground & outside patio/garden were a wonderful surprise--never stayed in a city hotel with these amenities & they were lovely. We also appreciated the easy access to city & public transportation. Also, the parking was very safe & secure, just small. There was also a food truck festival during our stay & had so much fun sampling the food. Thank you for a wonderful experience! Only remaining wish for us was just access to an ice machine.

Good place to stay overall. Once again, booking.com rates this place lower than other third grade places, but trust me - a 7 with 100s of reviews is a much better place than a 10 with 10 reviews. Breakfast was very good and the highlight of the place. Staff was on and off, some were really good, and some just ok. We stayed there for 5 nights, and it was amazing how easy it is to get on the train from nearby stations (Technopark and Schiffbau), and be able to get to all the prime locations in Zurich within 15-20 mins. Nearby, there is not a lot of good locations from a convenience standpoint, but it's decent. Rooms are good size. We had some trouble with getting them to fill general items in the room, but it was not that big of a deal. There is not much of a view from the windows, but it's ok overall. Beds are comfortable and it's great that they have USB (type A) outlets in the rooms.

Air-conditioning was a bit weak, but they provided us with a "ventilator", basically a table fan. It did the job.

Very friendly check in staff. Nice swimming pool. Nearby Steiner Flughafebeck bakery was fantastic for breakfast.

Location was in a business park so a bit deserted at the weekend and not much in the immediate area. Not far to walk/tram to get to good places though.

I book and pay my room online for 2 nights. The only think I have to pay at the hotel is 10 franc for the city tax. But when I check in ask me to pay 50 franc for the deposit, when I ask deposit for what I didn't get an answer. And want me pay only with card.. but I didn't get my deposit back... Novotel tell me why they ask me to pay 50 franc more. Because when I book the statement say the room price that I pay before, and the 10 franc for city tax.

Location and the rooms are nice. Nice TV and new rooms. The lighting is quite modern designed.

There is no lock for the bathroom in the room. The tissue holder of very cheap quality and falls off. No wardrobe. I have never been asked to keep a security deposit for my room even though the mini bar was empty.

Nice cosy room. There was a food festival during my stay and it was wonderful to test different variety of food that was being sold in the food festival. The tram services comes at 15 minute interval.

The hotel should have inform guests on how to go to their hotel main entrance. The hotel main entrance is different from Ibis hotel and we have to walk a round the hotels to find the main entrance.

the hotel and service, breakfast and dinner were excellent

the new year's dinner was expensive, and very average, and the service of the gentleman that was in charge was deplorable, we had received a bottle of champagne from the hotel we stayed at Strasburg on Christmas as a gift for us to drink on new year's, it had the hotel label and the hotel bag, we asked the front desk staff previously if it could be opened with our dinner and told that they saw no problem , of course we expected a charge for the service, but when we got there, the person that sat us said no, that it was a different business and was very rude. he basically ruined our trip; it was our last day of holiday. we flew back home the following morning with the bad experience of the previous night.

The hotel is under renovation, which they don't tell the clients before arrival, you only find out once there, there is sand feeling everywhere, and work going on, if u are out all day is good place for sleep, if you have time to spend in the room than better ask them bfr booking if the renovation still going on.
