We arrived at 12pm and were allowed to check-in early, that was a plus for us. Night market and a few breakfast spots were all within walking distance (recommend trying Xing Long Ju!) The king-sized bed was a surprise for the cheap price we paid.

Toilet floor corners had a bit of mould and water leaked slightly during showers, but we weren't too bothered by it. Soundproofing could be better as we can hear conversations and footsteps all the time.

Located in a prime location, with free underground parking for guests. Lots of different restaurants (incl Xing Long Qu) and bars in the area, and Liuhe Market in the vicinity. Staff is friendly and helpful as well.

Despite being a non-smoking room, my toilet had the smell of cigarette smoke. Initially thought it was from the ventilation, but we ended up finding a cigarette bud behind the toilet. Not sure how that was missed in cleaning up, but the staff did help to send someone to clean when we mentioned it when we left for dinner. The TV (and the hole between the TV and the bed) was dusty as well.

The check-in was quick and smooth, and the signs were clearly displayed. The deco of the room ran a theme of modern travels, although a bit dark due to the colour scheme. The room was spacious for the 4 of us, probably because of the high ceiling, The hotel was near the city centre and easy to get to. It's popular with all sorts of visitors to the city, families, couples, businesspeople and tourists like us. There is a kettle in the room for making coffee and oolong tea, and an undercounter fridge, I would highly recommend the buffet breakfast in the hotel. For a discount price of NT$ 99 you get a satisfactory variety of Chinese/Taiwanese breakfast items as well as usual ones such as bread, milk, cereal and juices.

The shower door didn't close well and the bathroom floor was flooded as a result. In hindsight I probably should've reported to the staff right away. The game room with a children's play area and the common room on the top floor were literally dilapidated so don't expect to spend any time there when you visit. It's a shame, really.

This hotel was superb. The room was very spacious, the bed as well. Loved the breakfast, got us out our comfort zone. Tried so many new things. The location is amazing, close by metro and busstops and delicious restaurants (vegetarian restaurants as well)

Doing laundry is quite expensive, and the machines (washing and drying) smell bad/poor. After spending money on drying machines, we had to dry the clothes in our room. So I won't recommend using the dryer.

Loved the location! 5mins walk from exit 4 of city hall mrt (with escalator) and approx 10mins walk to formosa mrt.

I stayed in 2 rooms (superior single and single room with no window) and prefer the latter. This room (superior single) has a queens sized bed which means less space. So there was barely any space for hanging clothes nor a table. The bathroom wasn't separated between bathing and toilet area either. Overall still great hotel just that single room without window was of better value.

i really liked the location. it is super close to the City Center station, and I can catch the MRT. There are a lot of restaurants nearby. The hotel room itself was very comfortable. They provided many amenities to make your stay more comfortable. Check out is very convenient as well.

The only thing I didn’t like about the room, is that it had some old wallpaper stains on the wall. besides that, everything was good.

I like the room a lot. It was very spacious and very quiet. Overall it is a good stay for a lone traveler like myself. Not to mention that this place can be easily reached by subway or bus. And of course, a few hundred meters away from the night market!

Can't think of anything that I didn't like. Probably the only minor issue that I have is that the bed is a bit too soft (I prefer a harder bed), but that's just my personal feeling. Overall I think it is a good place. Definitely value for money.

I loved this room! Location was great 4mins walk from city hall mrt exit 4 and approx. 10mins walk from formosa mrt. The room has a single bed, table and closet for hanging clothes while the bathroom was separated between toilet and bathing area. Overall, it was clean. The CP value is very high! Hotel provides breakfast for NT99 which was great and has laundry facilities (at a charge) as well.

Room was kinda dated (peeling wallpaper/slightly moudly bathroom) but didn't affect my stay too much.

With the price being one of the lowest for one night in my Taiwan trip I was a bit worried about what I was getting into, but this ended up being one of the best accomodations I had there! First of all, it is a proper hotel, with reception desk and all. The room was clean and bed comfortable. Shower/bathroom was very nice too, and they provided many different types of toiletries. Also, the room did not have that weird moldy smell that almost every other place in which I stayed in Taiwan had.

Location is great, walkable to Louhe night market. Also near Formosa MRT station which is convenient to access other stations. Can do laundry on the 11th floor. The staff are nice and helpful. The room is nice and clean. Tea, coffee, and water are available. English channels also. I will definitely choose this hotel again if I go to Kaohsiung.
