The hotel location is great, close to the MRT station and the Shilin Night Market, a Louisa's Coffee, Family Mart and 7 Eleven really near, many restaurants right on the street by the hotel. 2 laundromat within walking distance. The staff are wonderful and bilingual to a degree, rooms are clean and comfortable, though the beds are a little stiffer than I'd like, they were still comfortable to sleep on. The cleaning staff are on hand every day to clean and change out the linens, they are very attentive and do a great job!! Overall, for the month long stay we did at the Star Beauty Hotel, it was lovely, pleasant and a great experience. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel for your trip to Taiwan.

The room is great and clean and exceeded our expectations. The place is just walking distance to Shilin Market, Family Mart, 7/11 and restaurants are just around the corner. All the front desks were very helpful specially in calling taxi for us. Check in and check out are also smooth, we would be more grateful if they allowed us to check in early, cause we arrive at around 12noon, they allowed us to leave our luggage and be back by 3pm to check in, though they allowed us by 230pm. I highly recommend this place.

The smart toilet is not working well.

Very comfortable hotel in a great location. Even though the hotel does not provide a crib, it's right across the street from an excellent playground for kids. Plenty of restaurants (breakfast, lunch AND dinner) and a Family Mart within walking distance. It's also a 10 minute walk from the Shilin Night Market. The jacuzzi tub was fantastic. And the mattresses were actually the most comfortable on our trip. There is parking available, but it's limited. You give the car keys to the front desk and they give you a card that you will return to them when you need the car back. They park the car for you on the side of the hotel.

Good hotel - clean - quiet and very conveniently located .Close to metro, 24 hour stores and good cafes - where you can have a tasty and cheap breakfast

The only reservation I have about the hotel is the awful choice of TV channels .20 TV channels with stupefying communist propaganda is a bit too much .Or maybe it would be enough to replace it with 5 English language channels .

It's a great place, close to the MRT station, the Shilin Night Market. There are a few great local restaurants down the street, 2 convenience stores just a few steps away. Quiet, clean and comfortable.

Hard mattress.

staff upgrade my room without even asking. location is not far from Shilin night market. right apposite the hotel has family mart, very convenient

after upgrade the room is bigger but the bed revert back to queen bed instead of super big bed. is a bit hard for 3 or us to sleep on the queen bed

Great room, super clean. Recently remodeled. Rented a bigger room, 2nd floor. Had a Koi pond! Beautiful parks nearby. Many restaurants

Good location, service was good as well.

The flooring in the toilet is very slippery. My toddler fell a few times already. Even myself as an adult, I slipped once too despite being very very careful.

Room is big and clean. Towel, shampoo and body wash are provided. Bed is comfortable. Drinking water is provided. Hotel location is walk-able to Shilin Night Market. Overall experience is great.
