Excellent experience overall: hotel location secluded but 10-15min walk to metro station and shilin night market. the room was sufficiently large with a very nice bathroom. the breakfast was amazing and even though it ends at 10am, you can still sit there to finish your food. the infinity pool is absolutely gorgeous with a sufficient length to do some proper laps. literally do not have anything bad to say about the entire experience.

Loved the pool and the room was very comfortable. Also the staff were very professional and lovely to deal with.

The breakfast was ok but nothing special. The best section was the egg station where the chefs would make omelettes/poached/fried eggs to order.

-The view from the room was delightful, the mountain view was particularly great in the morning. -Staff were always friendly, helpful and accommodating. -The room was spacious, dark and quiet. -The layout of the hotel worked well overall. -Breakfast room was lovely and the food choices were good. -The rooftop was impressive with a good sized pool. -The gym had a functional set of equipment for a decent workout.

-Being early birds, we would have liked leisure facilities to be open earlier. -Even though we had ample supply of water, we would much rather have had a more eco-friendly water fountain with refillable vessels.

View is awful! City view faces opposing office building messy storage floors !!

They do not change bed sheets so I have to keep requesting every day to change bed sheet

A very pleasant stay at Renaissance Taipei Shihlin Hotel! Staff were very nice, friendly and efficient. View from hotel was definitely amazing as what you could see was loads of trees and plants from your room. Would love to stay here again for my next trip in Taipei again.

The location, near the park. It’s peace and tranquil.

Room 815. The desk by the window is far too big and doggy chair. The desk light failed after day 2 of my stay. Apart from that, it’s very good hotel to stay. Bed id very comfortable.

the location is superb and everything is spectacular

we booked the hotel because of the rooftop swimming pool which turned out to be closed during our stay. We were only notified while checking in.

The room was very comfortable, spacious with a high ceiling, and luminous with a wonderful mountain view. The breakfast was various and delicious with quality products (not only from Costco like in many other hotels), especially the French bread (baguette).

The swimming pool was nice, but the water was really cold and the opening time was too limited: - from 9am to 12am, then we couldn't enjoy it in the early morning before the breakfast - from 2pm to 5pm, then we couldn't enjoy it neither during the sunniest time at lunch, nor at the end of the day before the dinner The bottles of water provided in the room were too small, then we had to go to the gym to take extra bottles. At the end of my stay, I felt very bad to have used so many small plastic bottles. I would prefer the hotel to provide at least one big bottle or a glass bottle to refill at a water dispenser in the hall.

The birthday cake is great, so is the ice bucket. Service is awesome. Thank you very much.

No lights in balcony. Can hardly enjoy the night there.
