Very comfortable room, great bed, superb shower and very pleasant view on the Mountain. Great toilet with 26 function buttons—all indicated in Chinese but the graphics help!

Lousy TV programme selection ( no international news channel, some Asian sitcom and translated US 3-rate movie channels, duplicated channels etc.), standoffish front desk staff (it should not be too difficult to teach them to greet guests when they come in and go out) with the exception of one young guy who helped us find theatre tickets, lack of variety for breakfast (but very friendly staff in the breakfast room)

Excellent location with a metro station within view of the hotel. The metro in Taipei is excellent, easy and very clean. Room was very large as was the bathroom. Staff was helpful and polite, most speak English. Outside of the center, and the green hills across the street were lovely. Did not use the pool or have the breakfast. Tea and coffee in room, along with a fridge. Many places to eat within walking distance. Very comfy bed!

Everything was perfect!

Nice mountain view (I stayed at level 6) and felt away from the busy city. The bathroom has a big window (with blind) which can also overlook the mountain view.

The room layout. The sitting area is tiny. We pretty much only used it for changing shoes. The automatic toilet seat opened/closed randomly during the night. The touch light switches had bright blue night. Lots of light pollution that may affect one's sleep. Its location is close to the night (food) market. However, we were not a fan of it.

Almost perfect hotel, with extremely comfortable beds, good noise cancelling, very clean, nice bathroom with japanese toilet, bubble bath and shower, good selection of teas and espresso coffee machine. Breakfast with good options, mostly asian food. Perfectly located in quiet still central place very close to MRT station Jiantan (5 stops to main station), close to Shilin night market.

This time we chose the city view room (vs. mountain view), this room (minimum ours) was way smaller. Although same luxurious standard as other room type, size was just alright for one night, for longer you wish more space.

The hotel room is very big and amenities complete. Comfortable bed and big TV. Location is next to Jiantan Station exit 2 and 5-10 mins from Shilin Night market. There are hotpot restaurants just less than 5 mins from the hotel as well. My room came with a big bathtub with bubble bath function and you can watch TV while showering.

The hair dryer is very weak and too hot. Breakfast was not bad but the mains did not change throughout the whole trip I was there so I ended up eating the same thing. My room WiFi was too weak so do remember to inform the reception as they can lend you their router which is much better. The room walls can be quite thin sometimes as you can hear ppl opening doors or phone ringing from adjacent rooms.

The property is very close to MRT jiantan station. Just a few meters away. It has a washing machine and cool bathtub in my suite room. The amenities was a premium quality. Breakfast was decent and with healthy ala carte choice.

Everything was very perfect except the check out time. The check-out policy was very strict and too early (11:00 AM). Despite that, i would like to come back again for sure. But please make some exception for me😄🙏

Lovely clean and new property in great location….leafy views, big windows, yet steps across street to Jiantan MRT which took us everywhere plus walking up Jiantan mountain and exploring Shinlin on foot. Red line MRT a few stops into downtown or onto Taipei 101 and also goes out to Tamsui and Beitou. No. 30 bus direct to excellent National Palace Museum. Comfy beds, great showers and bathtubs. Nice staff and boutique feel, especially at breakfast.

We loved our week in Taipei and the Tango, but a few items to note. Modern room lights have bright blue led switches which light up the room…we covered 12 light sources with sticky notes to mute for better sleep. Privacy on toilet a bit limited but glass seems to be common design in Taiwanese trendy hotels! Pool and hot tub not open. Gym in basement garage ok, but a bit small and limited. No smart TVs.

A solid hotel choice for Taipei! The room was very spacious and much bigger than we expected,and super clean, modern and comfortable. The location was very convenient, being just across the road from Jiantan MRT station, and a 5-min walk to Shilin Night Market. They had a lot of thoughtful add-on amenities, and we were able to loan a Dyson AirWrap from them. The jacuzzi bathtub was huge and had a television in front of it.

Staff could have been warmer and friendlier.

I loved the room. It was modern with electric curtains, a desk chair which is suitable for working at, a Toto toilet which automatically opens (a bit too sensitive perhaps) and a lovely view of the mountain on the other side of the street which you can hike up. MRT Jiantan and Youbikes are directly outside. Staff were nice and let me store my luggage while I went away for a week... when I returned, my bags had already been brought to my new room. Some free soft drinks in the mini bar.

The room is pretty big and near to shilin market. Pretty near to the train station as well

The attitude of the staff was unfortunately not up to par as compared to my stay in other tango hotel. This is especially so when we check in on the first night. No one helped with the room or the lift or even smiled when we were struggling with our luggages and young child. They were busy chatting with each other and receiving phone calls
