The staff were excellent. They were friendly, helpful, and professional.

It was hard to access other locations from this hotel because the walkway was closed off. Other hotels have open gates, making it possible to walk through to other locations without walking along the beach (which was often not accessible because of high tide. It's really inconvenient. Also, for a location with no pool and basic amenities, the price was too high. As well, one of our rooms had a broken air conditioner.

Lovely simple hotel at the amazing location. Right on the lovely Nungwi beach. Everyday you can watch the beautiful sunset and take long walks along the beach. A lots of restaurants and shops at walking distance. The staff is friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. Every morning different fruits. The avocado salad, which was delicious. Also the food you can choose from the sit menu is tasty. During dinner they have tables right on the beach, which is lovely.

The wifi was not working in our room, to be fare also the internet with local sim didn't work in the room. Our room had lovely view to the beach, but it was also overlooking the Baraka beach restaurant. At the balcony the smell from the restaurant grill was our constant companion in the evenings. Still it is not the hotel fault, but I think its good to know.

The breakfast was exceptionally good and varied. There was a new selection of food every day and it was always fresh. We were very satisfied with the food. The staff was extremely friendly and we were always treated very politely. On the first day, we were greeted by the staff in a friendly manner with a freshly squeezed juice drink. In addition we were supposed to check in at 3pm but arrived at 10am. The staff made no problems with an earlier check-in and no surcharge. Not every hotel does that. The staff also assisted us with our Safari tour on the mainland by comparing prices with various providers. Overall, the staff helped us in every matter and gave us tips. And the hotel manager was very friendly! That's why we are exceptionally satisfied with the hotel overall!

There are definitely no critical points. We were satisfied with all points.

Nungwi is the most commercial part of Zanzibar and as such the properties charge a much higher rate than elsewhere on the island. Zenobia is perfectly positioned as its right in the middle of the main Nungwi stretch of hotels restaurants and beach. The staff were delightful and helpful and did everything to make our stay pleasant. There are sunbeds on the decking and stairs to the beach with a small strip of sand to the right which nobody else uses so when the tide is out you have your own little patch of sand away from the hub and hustle of the beach. Lots to go to nearby and great for the dolphin trip and walking distance to the Turtle aquarium. Restaurant on site is a bonus when you don't want to leave the hotel. WiFi in the restaurant was good and accessible in the rooms. Reasonable stay considering the inflated prices in Nungwi.

The prices are over inflated because it is Nungwi but are comparable for Nungwi, for the price you can get much more luxury accommodation elsewhere on the island.

Upon the arrival we got the upgrade for free and were very happy with the room. The windows were on the restaurant but we didn't get any problems with the sleep. We could also enjoy the amazing ocean right from our windows.The room was spacious and the air-conditioner worked all the time. They serve simple breakfast here that was included. I also enjoyed the private sunbeds area that was reserved only for guests.

The staff at the restaurant looked very stressfull and sometimes they weren't really service minded. The hotel doesn't have a comfortable beach area, but it's possible to use the stairs from the hotel to get into the ocean. The hotel doesn't provide the best restaurant experience in the area.

A beachside hotel with ocean view. The staffs are young but try their best to help the customers. The restaurant of the hotel is also with trained chef cooking delicious foods as a strength point. The access road to the hotel requires real repair ( like the other beach side hotels) as it is not a good impression. The direct access to beach is great just the approach of locals for tours and products is a bit annoying but understandable. We had also a problem with our room AC maintenance which caused some problems which was communicated with hotel staffs. The rooms are clean and serviced well daily just they are a bit small. The value for money is acceptable for staying in beach side hotel.

am a remote worker and have been in Zanzibar for more than 21 days. I travelled to the south and east coast of the island but Nungwi beach is the most beautiful beach. The sunset is the best here. The Zenobia team was the kindest and friendliest staff I have seen so far. The place is very hygienic and safe to eat and drink. The location is amazing, and the services are good quality. They have generators for electricity cutouts, and the internet was good enough.

The mirrored windows are good for the view and privacy but also darken the room. There was not much daylight and the room was a bit humid. As long as you power on the AC and the fans it is tolerable. The island is very hot and humid in Jan/Feb, and it is difficult to find a comfortable place to rest and work indoors.

Breakfast is not bad. receptionist asked for %3 commission to credit card payments and i did not pay because it is not legal. Due to this reason we waited more then 30 minutes for confirmation from his manager and we were tired at this time. Location is good but price is much for this facility because there are more confortable hotels near by this hotel from the same price. Hotel is clean, kitcehen is good, bar is not bad but they can bring more alcohol types for prepare coctails.

A nice hotel with a homely atmosphere and friendly staff. Breakfast and other food we took at the Terrace restaurant are OK and reasonably priced. The beach is very close. Since we were interested in snorkelling we were happy to have a reef nearby. Not very rich corals but still we found some interesting creatures, including morey eels, a snake eel, a cuttlefish, scorpion fish of 2 kinds etc. The sea starts are wondeful, far better than any place we visited aronud the world. We took a trip to a nearby island: good corals but not so many fish.

On a negative side, one of our team fell due to a not very well marked step next to the beach stairs, the injury appeared serious, although did not prevent him from swimming. It will be good to introduce clean visible marking of steps and other dangerous spots.

The location is excellent, right on the beach. Our room with balcony overlooked the beach and water, it was idyllic. We spent many an hour just sitting on the balcony watching the world go by.... Very chilled. Aircon in the room was also excellent when you needed it. Close to many restaurants.

The food choices were a bit basic but Mama Mia restaurant is right next door with excellent Italian food/pizzas/etc. Other restaurants available neaby as well. The beach is only swimmble at high tide but there are also boats/jet skis moving around so caution is required. There are excursions for snorkelling. etc, offered by the hotel. Better to use these rather than the hawkers on the beach - they were a bit relentless in their pursuit of a sale.
