We had an excellent stay at Rivertrees and would love to return one day! Super friendly staff, amazingly beautiful garden, spacious cottage, and splendid service. The breakfast was great and the restaurant and the swimming pool were also very good. You may be lucky and see two species of primates peacefully foraging on top of the magnificent trees. Thank you for creating such a great time during the last days of our holiday!

The internet had some issues from time to time (especially in the cottage) but works generally well. The location is about 20km away from Arusha, so going to town might be slightly difficult and walking outside the premises is not recommended (but the garden is huge and even has a beautiful walking path along the river).

Staff very friendly and polite to requests. Very clean room and excellent service. Good restaurant Good base to Arusha, Moshi, various safari destinations. Good activities offered by the hotel Breakfast SUPERLATIV

All very nice: - To be improved at the restaurant the offer of typical dishes, and have more dishes (Main dish) - It would be nice if the pool stayed less in the shade

My wife and I stayed here for the last night of our honeymoon. Rivertrees Country inn was the nicest place we have ever stayed in. The swimming pool is real eye catcher, super clean gardens and great facilities. The staff were all so nice and our only regret was we couldn't stay longer.

Few option for swahili foods, Heard it is once in the month for kuku choma day . I think it is better to provide regularly.

The grounds, landscaping and staying at River House with the river right outside the back porch was a pleasant experience.

The food was not good and for a place that was in such a nice setting not getting fresh and well cooked food was a big let down for my family and myslef.

Walking along the short river walk, finding unexpected monkeys playing on trees by river, seeing lizard, turquoise dragon fly was bonus.. just wished the walk was longer.. ^&^ Loved the power shower as well in such natural ambience with lots of windows to cool down without fan running.. ^&^

This is my 3rd time at the Inn. I know the staff and they remember my name. The staff are professional and kind.I love the ambience in the restaurant and the food is excellent. Kudos to the chef!! I already have a booking for December!

I’ve never had an issue!

The grounds were lovely and so was the room. The two other places I stayed in Tanzania were 5-star hotels, but the food at Rivertrees was better. We had a little difficulty communicating with the staff, but they were very friendly.

This is one of my favorite hotels, what you get for the price is great. It is amongst the trees of Arusha, next to the river which you can hear and see depending on your room, which is the most incredible sound to sleep to. The pool is under the beautiful trees that are filled with monkeys and birds. The food is great and there is a good variety if you are vegetarian and breakfast has so many different options. The rooms are exceptionally comfortable, 10 meters from the river, and with a bathtub that rejuvenates you every time. The location is perfect, near Arusha but enough distance for it to be very calm and relaxing, away from all the buzz. The hotel also has a spa and even a vegetable garden, and they provide you with many different tour options and they often have activities such as an outside cinema under the trees. The best part of this hotel is the amazing staff, they have helped me with all the changes I had to make and have been so kind. Thank you! If you stay here make sure you go along the river, it is so magical!

Fabulous location surrounded by trees and the running river. Easy for mountain biking and kayaking. Feel like you are at one with nature, food was excellent, staff fantastic, highly recommend.
