Noise from the bus stage and mosque

I have stayed at the New Hotel Aquiline twice and enjoyed staying there. The self-contained rooms were comfortable with hot water and I was lucky to have a little fridge as well. There is a telephone in the room which made it very easy to contact the staff at any time. The food in the restaurant is nice and the buffet breakfasts are good. The manager and staff of the hotel are friendly and helpful. They were kind enough to let me leave a big bag at the hotel while I went away on a safari for a few days. The wi fi worked well. The location of the hotel is very convenient, within a very short walking distance of the bus station and central market and I felt safe in this area. I am happy to recommend this hotel. Note: The pharmacy next door was the by far the cheapest for malaria tablets (probably for other things as well)!

Breakfasts were very good and service was always friendly. The hotel is an amazing value and quite safe, clean and friendly for Americans. The neighborhood was fascinating, full of street markets and local people using all kinds of transit. Outside the hotel, many people spoke only Swahili, but we always felt safe. Lots of school children would wave and say "hello" to show that they were learning some English at school.

We're from a rural area, and at times found the constant hustle and bustle around the hotel a bit too noisy.

Loved the location and staff were just lovely. Breakfast was delicious and the restaurant is a great place to sit on the terrace, have a beer, and watch the buzz of activity below. Room was very clean and comfortable. Enjoyed dinner at Kahn’s bbq right nearby.

Air conditioner did not work so it was a bit uncomfortable sleeping but I just opened the window. Mini fridge did not work but I didn’t really need it.

Honest staff. When I checked out I forgot some money in the room, and when I called the front desk the manager was very helpful in finding the envelope and storing it safely for me until I could pick it up a few days later. The restaurant has a good breakfast spread and the dinners are also fine. If I need to return to Arusha this is where I’ll stay.

Sometimes the wifi is spotty.

I only stayed 1 night in Arusha, but the hotel felt central. The staff was super friendly, helped me learn some Swahili and was overall very accommodating. There was toothbrushes and toothpaste in the bathroom. For breakfast I had the best samosa I’ve ever had!

The property was more or less as expected. Some minor things such as loose towel holders and a little dusty some places.

Good for the price paid. Air conditioning in the rooms. The furniture is outdated however, the property is kept very clean! Had nice food in the restaurant, also at a very reasonable cost. Staff were very helpful and supported me to get a new charger when mine broke and held my bags safely when I went on safari.

Nice friendly welcoming staff willing to help and answer any of my queries. The room was comfortable, good size with good ac and wifi worked very well. Breakfast offered a buffet with a good selection of meat fruit and vegetables. Good location for transport links

Can also get noisy early in the morning as the coach and bus station is close by

the property was super clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The property is on an incredibly busy road- we found it difficult to walk even two stores down without being approached to purchase something or take a taxi. it was also loud when the mosque did prayers- one night it went on for hours in the middle of the night. The breakfast was good and had a lot of choice.

Great value hotel in the city centre, next to the bus station. Excellent shower. Recommend Khan's BBQ and the Stage pub nearby for food/drink.

It's a little noisy, but that didn't bother us much. Nothing to complain about for the price point.
