The hotel itself was already the vacation, walking distance from aonang beach, we have the best nature view in our room, the rooftop pool was superb, place was neat and clean all staff were very warm and accommodating, they gave us a welcome drink and they were very helpful, I would definitely recommend to my friends and family

Everything about the accommodation was exactly what we were looking for as a couple celebrating our first wedding anniversary; adults only, our porch was a few metres then we were in the pool; could swim to the bar for some mocktails in about 27 seconds; staff were amazingly kind and gracious; food throughout the restaurants was great; rooms, bed, bathroom all cool and comfortable; the two swimming pools on the rooftop bar overlooking the Andaman Sea, surrounded by natural jungle beauty, with massive limestone outcrops dwarfing you as you'd stand in disbelief looking at the sheer beauty that surrounds you was transcendental. It was also great being so conveniently located to the heart of AoNang, and only a few hundred metres walk from the beach so we could hear waves crashing at night, but as it is on a dead end road, as the beach is there; the serenity from lack of western industrial crap is pure bliss. We plan on returning for another fortnight next year, and we rarely return to countries or accommodation that we've travelled to prior, thus this is a good indication of how relaxing this hotel is.

The hotel is very clean, the beautiful staff are constantly cleaning. Hotel is a very short walk to the beach and into town,where there are plenty of shops 7/11, restaurants and food kiosks. The rooms are a great size, with a decent balcony, small fridge and kettle. Air con efficient and control in room. The best feature of this hotel are the pools, there are two on the roof, which are lovely to swim in and have magnificent views. Plentiful loungers. Other pools on ground floor. Breakfast was mix of euro and Asian food and very good.

Wifi dropped out a bit. Otherwise hotel and staff excellent. Nothing to do with the hotel but… Ao Nang has a beautiful beach and view but at times litter on the beach and a general lack of waste bins at beach and around town. Water quality in sea wasn’t always good, although otherwise warm and safe. Ao Nang was a bit too commercialised for us personally but obviously this also gives plenty of eating, drinking and shopping opportunities.

Nice, clean, big room, comfy bed, good breakfast, well equipped gym, good location :) The beach (very nice one), restaurants and many shops are in a few minutes walking distance from the hotel. Staff was nice, quite helpful our favourite guy was the one always being outside the hotel near the entrance :) Don't forget to give him a nice tip :)

The view from our balcony wasn't the nicest, but we forgot to ask for a sea view in advance so it's on us mostly. They don't really give you small towels for your hands, you have to ask for it. For 3 person rooms they should put 3 chairs on the balcony.

Pool bar music was too loud at times even with no one (except) me in the pool. This all depended on who was working the swim up bar. Bedroom 1107 floor is all warping as people walk in there when they are wet. ( I dried off before walking in the room) Breakfast: There was never any baked beans and most Europeans enjoy beans with breakfast. Breakfast Restaurant: PLEASE PLEASE implement a dress code for breakfast. I for one do not appreciate seeing women walking around a breakfast restaurant in bikini's with half their bodies uncovered.

The location is excellent. Close enough to walk to everything in Ao Nang and about one block away from the beach. The pools are great - lots of seating choices. My only comment is that umbrellas would be great for those pale Canadians who want to stay in the shade! I loved the rooftop pool and views of the sea. Decent breakfast buffet - lots of hot and cold food options to choose from. The room was very comfortable and quiet. I liked that I was facing over a private pool area rather than the main pool, so it was nice to sit out on the balcony to relax. The bed was perfection - definitely the most comfortable bed throughout my time in Thailand!

Maybe this is normal when you’re so close to the water and the beach, but it felt like everything was covered in a layer of grit and sand. The room and hotel in general didn’t feel overly clean - not visibly dirty, just like it needs a good scrub. Towels and sheets could have been cleaner.

- adjoining room, solo traveller, not locked, called reception said they would send someone, nobody came, I worked out it was not accessible from another room but after closely inspecting it because I was anxious which wasn't a great start to the stay - bathroom felt tired and needed a lift, soap dispenser falling off wall etc - bedroom was overlooking what looks like could be a construction site, not too bothered as spent little time in the hotel but would suggest requesting pool side view for anyone wanting to relax on their balcony - room was next to hotel generator which was very loud - lights in the bedrooms are overcomplicated

If nothing else, staying here for the location and roof top pool is totally worth it! We managed to get a room for 5 nights last min after a disappointing arrival at a different location way too far away from the beach, and BlueSotel SMART saved the day! The room was great and the balcony was lovely! The bathroom could have done with some renovation, showing signs of wear, but it was clean! The staff were lovely and the breakfast was great with more than enough choice for everyone. The hotel was definitely more westernised and very English speaking than other hotels we had recently visited where we were used to a lot more "hellos" and "thank yous" in Thai but appreciate that's not for everyone! Adults only was an added bonus and the pools were never too busy nor were you ever fighting for a sunbed/lounger. Would really recommend the location too - just a 5 min walk to Ao Nang beach. Very happy with this hotel! Highly recommend!

Modern interior with a great view in the Suite. Very attentive staff that make it so you dont have to worry about a thing. Location is not bad, its like a 10 minute walk to the nearest 7-11 but also far enough from all the partying so you can get your peace at night. All in all we really enjoyed our stay.

The matress is quite soft and both of us were feeling it in our backs. Might not be an issue for everybody. The laundry service, everything was very clean and the clothes were soft like new, but it was quite pricey, 1400baht for 3-4kg of laundry. Not really an issue, just worth mentioning.

Lovely 5 night stay at Bluesotel which is in a great location. Just a two minute walk to beach, bars and restaurants. The beach was beautiful, a little noisy from the water taxi's but this didnt bother us. A short walk to the right when facing the beach leads you to the town centre with an array of shops, bars and all the nightlife you could wish for. The hotel itself was very quiet, lovely big room with a huge bed which was so comfy. Small balcony but ample for sitting out to enjoy an evening drink. Rooms were cleaned daily and there were beach towels, beach bag, pool shoes, bath robes and complimentary water left daily. Also complimentary toothbrushes and toothpaste, cotton buds, shower cap, shampoo and shower gel and a comb. The rooftop pool was stunning with amazing views and you could even see some monkeys in the trees just over the way. The scenery surrounding the hotel was just beautiful.

Tried on 3 occasions to get sunbeds near the ground floor pool but there were lots of beds with towels on but no one around using them. Think the hotel could maybe address this issue. Shower not the best in the room we were allocated.
