We had an excellent stay at this hotel for two weeks. The breakfast was great, and they offer gluten-free options for those with dietary restrictions. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the main street. The hotel staff were all incredibly friendly and polite. The room was cleaned daily and kept spotless, with the housekeeping staff doing a great job. We felt very well taken care of during our stay. I highly recommend this hotel if you're visiting Khao Lak.

X10 is a beautiful and family friendly resort in a quiet spot just off the main road. The gardens and pools are beautiful and clean and the staff were always welcoming, friendly and accommodating. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite that incorporated also two bathrooms and two balconies, one which lead straight out to the path and easy access to pools and stroll to the restaurants on site. The main room having a queen sized bed and the second room having two singles beds. The rooms are spacious with all amenities available for your comfort. Staff were absolutely amazing and accomodating, always welcoming and ensuring we had everything we needed. And housekeeping were professional, trustworthy and impeccable with the turn down service and restocking the fridge with water bottles. On site there are things to do for families with waterslide, kids club, playground, games tables and day spa - as well as happy hour and afternoon tea as well as family friendly cultural shows. There are multiple pools of varying depths, allowing for families to have a choice of which suites their needs, as well as an adult pool with swim up bar. Two restaurants on site helped with meal times for the relaxing days at the resort as well as delivering awesome room service. Prices are good and quality of food, drinks and cocktails were amazing! Access to the Main Street is easy with a walk or an air conditioned shuttle bus or taxi at a small cost. The resort organises them for you as well as to other places you would like to go. Our stay at X10 was absolutely amazing that we have started recommending it to our friends for their next holiday to Thailand. 😊

It's disgusting that they smoke downstairs in the lobby. The smell is worth going down the balconies in the morning, it’s impossible to breathe fresh air. Unconscious people sit all day near free coffee and suck cigarettes

Lovely hotel Lovely staff Lovely beach Good rooms 10 min walk to town or tuk tuk ride always available Town is a main strip with lots of shops and restaurants Massages great next to hotel on the beach We loved getting a tuk tuk to coconut beach to Noks restaurant and watching the sun set while dining. Great fun for kids as lots of hermit crabs We had a large room that fit a double bed and two extra beds with large balcony - perfect for 2 adults and kids My mum shared a room with my teenager with two nice size beds (I think it was pool view beach wing or something like that) My sister had a pool view deluxe room for 2 adults and a kid which was nice but fully frosted glass bathroom wall means you can see everything - especially when going to the toilet - no sound barrier either (so wouldn't get one of these if you're in a new relationship 😉)

The pool towels Every morning people put their towels on the chairs which is fine if you're using them We saw a family of 5 take 5 chairs and for the 4 hours we were at the pool they were no where to be seen

Best hotel complex I have stayed in to date. All staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. Pools are fantastic. Main adult pool with swim up bar is brilliant. Main pool backs onto the beach. Beach itself is very quite with no tail boats or people trying to sell you goods / food. No loud music. Mainly just the families / guests of the hotels that are along this stretch. Bang Niang market / restaurants only a 5 min cab from hotel for 100 baht per person. Rooms are immaculate and very well maintained. AC works well and room service available. Fresh towels brought to your room at request / changed over if left on floor. Would definitely stay again in the future.

Nothing not to like

The X10 is located right on the beach, we didnt venture onto the beach that much but if you are swimming by the main pool you can see the beach from there with beautiful sunsets, cocktail in hand. Kids area was excellent, they have one large pool area with a slide which my son loved, a small area with mushroom water play area and then a main pool with volleyball area and swim up bar. The breakfast had a decent variety but you get fed up of chicken sausage and crispy bacon after awhile and long for a change. We only ate once at the main restaurant and only once at the Seafood restaurant at lunchtime. I would encourage the Hotel to offer theme nights, you could have a Thai evening with just Thai food, a Mexican evening for example. This is something I have enjoyed in other Hotels abroad and its always such a great success. The Hotel also offers ree hot drinks throughout the day just outside reception and free soft drinks and popcorn in the main restaurant from 3 to 5pm. This resort is catered for families, if you are planning on a Honeymoon or quiet getaway with your partner then I would look for somewhere else. There are alot of children at this resort.

The sunloungers did not have any cushions on them. I had seen previous guests mention this in their reviews to which management had responded that yes they do have mattresses. I can tell you they dont, and they can be quite uncomfortable after lying on them for sometime. There is no evening entertainment at the Hotel or special evenings. It would have been nice to have a musician and singers or Thai traditional dances or evenings during our stay. We had an issue with the toilet on two occasions as it kept getting blocked, it was fixed though.

We have experienced an exceptional hospitality level, from cordial welcome at check-in to absolutely unexpected offer of amazing rooms. A very special appreciation is due to Ms. Kathleen Dirangga, Guest Relations Mangager, whose perfectionism and devotion to hotel should be hearthfully appraised. High standards of service team are to be warmly acknowledged, with Lawrence and others at the desk team deserving special mentioning. Breakfast service was excellent: rich, diversified and tasteful, with food diversity and quality proved to be up to all tastes and special requirements. Highest recommendation to everybody for choice of your memorable vacation not only in KhaoLak but more generally in Phuket vicinity.

Amazing experience. Everything was perfect for both adults and the kids. Great facilities, plenty of pools, and lovely staff. Buffet breakfast was great with lots of options. A beachside hut that offers hair braiding, nails and massage was the perfect addition.

It was a 15 min walk to the main street, so we had to take taxis, as we had kids. The resort main restaurant had average food so we ate out a lot. But the buffet breakfast was excellent and seaside restaurant was good. The beach directly infront of the resort is not for swimming.

Spacious comfortable rooms in large resort hotel, based around several pools - one of which is adult only. Favoured by German and Russian tour companies, which adds an international flavour. Good facilities, super friendly staff and better than expected food at sensible, but not cheap prices. Choice of main restaurant or beach bar for snacks. On site free coffee, mini market and atm. I'm not an expert on resort style hotels but this suited our multi-generation family holiday

It was Christmas so hotel was packed and getting a sun lounger was quite competitive! The towels were out early. Room cleaning was a bit hit and miss, good some days and lacking on others. Especially beach towels and in-room coffee etc. Probably just struggling to cope with numbers. It's big!

Beautiful property with great touches like complimentary fruit, tea coffee/Thai milk tea/ hot chocolate machine at reception. We came for a day after checking out of a resort nearby before a very late flight. the room was comfortable, lovely balcony and nice pool access rooms too. pool by the beach with swim up bar and beach massages. day spa also reasonable price! and kids eat free with paying adult meal is great too!

The only fault was the shower and location, the shower was very inconsistent and ran boiling to cold, high pressure to low all in a minute, and back again, would be frustrating daily. it never ran consistent, we were in 1304 maybe just an issue with that building area but my son wouldn’t go in and it was impossible to wash hair pre flight. the other issue is the distance to local shops and restaurants need to catch the shuttle which is 50baht pp. Our other resort was a few minutes to street for lunch, shops, massages so if you are happy being a bit further out and using shuttle that’s something to consider.
