The hotel is clean and modern. It’s relatively new so everything is nice and neat. The location is great, literally 5min walk to the station, in the heart of Chinatown but not the noisy area. There’s also a mall downstairs with a 7eleven and Watsons. There are also small stalls that sell food, restaurants, shops etc. basically has everything you need, you prob don’t even need to bring anything and can buy everything right downstairs. The staff are nice and friendly but then most staff are usually nice in Thailand. The breakfast buffet is small but nice. Good food and choice of drinks as well as the fact that they always bring new freshly cooked food as soon as something runs out. The room is quite small but it’s clean and simple. The bed is a bit hard but it didn’t bother me too much. The bathroom has a dryer and the hot water is nice, hot water comes all throughout the shower and good pressure. They have a shampoo, body wash and hand wash. You can get other amenities downstairs. They tidy up the rooms daily.

The rooms are a bit small. No windows to open, but there’s a glass wall? So you can look out. Gets a bit stuffy cause you can’t get fresh air. The bed is a bit hard but it’s not uncomfortable. There’s no kettle which for me I found a bit of a downside as I’d like to make some tea or coffee time to time. I guess it’s okay as there’s everything downstairs including a Starbucks. Nothing big to complain about just small things.

Location in the heart of Chinatown. Close to MRT Station. Next street to Yeowarat Rd. Despite being in centre of it all, sound proof was strong and I was not affected by street or traffic noise outside, despite being a light sleeper. It is eco-friendly so they tell you at check in the amenities are self serve next to reception. Very clean and tidy. Some minor scum/mould in the corners of the shower but hardly noticeable. I paid sgd$100/night for standard twin room, and I think it's good value for money. I would absolutely stay here again.

New and clean, mins away from MRT station. It has a mini shopping mall right besides the hotel, super convenient as it has 7-11, watsons, F&B restaurants, etc. You will find super value for money bird nest at 100 batt just across the street. Massage parlor is just mins walk away from the hotel. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay with ASAI Bangkok Chinatown.

Basic amenities such as toothpaste, toothbrush, cotton buds sticks are not provided upfront. It will be provided upon request. There’s no kettle nor iron/ iron board in the room. If you need hot water, get it from their bar counter at level 4 (where the lobby is located).

I refer to my comments for my stay from May 4 to 6 at ASAI: Excellent breakfast - tried Asian style with rice, soups and dumplings. Eggs freshly prepared in an open kitchen. Very nice hotel bar. Staff at the reception, in restaurant and for cleaning was very friendly. ASAI is located in the middle of Bangkok Chinatown on the top of a shopping mall. Next underground train station only 100m away. Excellent starting point for tours to the Grand Palace and the famous temples. Also Chinatown with its very lively environment is fantastic. Just go outside the hotel and get the taste of streetfood everywhere.

At my second stay at ASAI, the smell in the room was not as good as in the first one. This time I also had a room with two single beds and the single bed was quite small compared to the Queen size bed of my first stay. Windows cannot be opened, so no "fresh" Bangkok air. I had difficulties to get the aircon running to an acceptable (not to cold) level, but that's probably because I am not used to it. The room was spacious, but I was missing some more possibilities to stow clothes properly.

My two-week stay at Asai Bangkok Chinatown was an exceptional blend of modern comfort and urban tranquility. From the thoughtfully designed rooms with convenient amenities to the luxurious bathroom, every aspect exceeded my expectations. The serene courtyard provided a picturesque escape. The hotel's prime location near the MRT station allowed easy exploration of Bangkok Chinatown's attractions. Asai Bangkok Chinatown sets a new standard in affordable luxury, offering an unforgettable stay in the heart of Yaowarat.

I was disappointed to find the absence of tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Despite this, the hotel's exceptional amenities, serene courtyard, and convenient location near the MRT station made for a memorable and enjoyable experience in Yaowarat.

I couldn't recommend this hotel highly enough, it was perfect for our stay in Bangkok! The location is ideal, really close to the station but also on the doorstep of the bustling Chinatown. We loved our stay here so much, we cancelled another hotel we had booked to come back to ASAI. The hotel and room was extremely clean, modern and comfortable. The location above a small shopping centre is very convenient with a food level, pharmarcy/drug store and 7/11. We loved that the hotel was in Chinatown but away from the main hustle and bustle but also nearby so we could enjoy the lively atmosphere. There was always something to do or see (and eat!) nearby if you weren't quite ready for bed. The breakfast and bar was also immaculate, we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast, a mix of western and thai options. The staff were super friendly and very accommodating. I will 100% be staying here again if I find myself in Bangkok and will recommend ASAI Chinatown to everyone I know! For the price, you are getting value for money and more!

Nothing - it was perfect

Everything in the hotel was good, especially the location, which is easy to explore on foot. It's only a 3 minutes walk to Chinatown, where you can easily find something to eat. The hotel is conveniently located near MRT Wat Mangkon, so you can access various destinations via the MRT. Additionally, there is a shopping mall inside the hotel and a 7-11 store on the ground floor. I highly recommend this hotel.

The only issue for me was the inconvenience of the restroom door lock as it cannot be locked while using it. If you are staying alone or with your partner, it's fine, but if you are sharing with a friend, it lacks privacy.

Newly built. Location was great. Short walk from the station and Chinatown. Conveniently located with a small shopping mall downstairs and 7-11. Friendly staff who provided detailed instructions and hotel that was very sustainable. Large room with standard facilities. Street food a min walk away. Chinatown bustling every night, great for food and vibe. Discounts attainable within the shopping mall with the stay.

Unfortunately, no kettle nor microwave. Bit of a wait for the elevator. Would be handy if the shopping mall could be accessed by the hotel elevator, they can always disable access after hours. When you got off the floor, it was a locked door into the mall. Would have be better if they put a sign in the elevator to say levels X were not accessible.

Great location. 5 mins walk to the train station. Good water pressure and temperature for shower. Love the personalized TV that addresses your name (small details that made me feel welcomed) Good selection of breakfast buffet, but would appreciate more local food selections. Beautiful and ‘zen’ interior. Friendly staffs.

Poor soundproofing, I can hear conversations through the door. I understand the effort for sustainability but the lack of basic amenities (no slippers, kettle, coffee/tea, face towel, toothbrush, doorbell etc) which made for an unpleasant experience. Sustainability can be implemented in many other ways that does not make the customer feel like things are taken away for cost-saving purposes. Carpets were stained and felt a bit dirty.

The hotel is directly in a mall and that way pretty convenient (there is a 7/11 who is 24 hours open and good food). It is really central in Chinatown, just a few minutes walk from the Yaowarat Road. There are a few food stalls just next to the mall and a metro station across the street. Although Chinatown is very busy, the hotel was calm and we couldn't hear the busy streets (we had a room with courtyard view). The room was nice and clean and the TV could easily be connected to a mobile device.

Since the hotel is inside the mall, you can't directly access it (you always have to walk through the mall) but isn't really a big problem I would say. Also, there was no kettle in the room.
