staff were exceptional (doorman, front desk, housekeeping). our luggage were already brought up to the room while we were checking in at the front desk! lady at the front desk also brought us up to the room, asked us for our flight details and advised us on the best time to leave for airport on departure day. room was quiet/soundproof (very important!!), spacious and clean, bed was comfortable. aircon and shower (flow and temperature) were great as well. a very good 4 nights stay!

you have to turn in and walk a short alley/narrow road which felt dangerous after sunset so we mainly walk out in the morning and take a grab back if we're going back at night (since we were 2 females travelling)!

Daraya is in an excellent central location to get to all the major areas of Bangkok by Skytrain. Rooms are well decorated and well provided with wifi, bluetooth speaker and bedside USB charging plugs. Staff are helpful and friendly. The hotel offers good value for the price and location. The hotel is two minute's walk to the National Stadium elevated rail station. The Siam Square upmarket shopping complex and posh hotels are one stop away by train or a (hot) 10 minute walk away under the railway line on an elevated walkway from the station. No food at Daraya but (local) breakfast is close by at the MBK Centre and a couple of small hotels by the train station offer European breakfast. The hotel offers a free (non-alcoholic) minibar, replenished daily.

A couple of cautions; the swimming pool is tiny and 8/F rooms get direct rooftop sun, making the 8/F very hot.

Staying at the Daraya Boutique Hotel in Bangkok was an experience that stood in sharp contrast to my other lodging experiences throughout Thailand. From the moment I entered the spacious room, I was enveloped in a sense of luxury that is hard to come by in the crowded cityscapes of Bangkok. The room boasted a private balcony and an indulgent tub that were exceptional both in terms of space and comfort. The cleanliness of the room deserves a special mention; it was absolutely spotless, radiating a standard of hygiene that I found to be unparalleled compared to other hotels where the photos were often a deceptive veneer. At Daraya, what was promised was surpassed, with every corner of the room maintained meticulously, ensuring peace of mind and a truly relaxed stay. The hotel staff were the embodiment of Thai hospitality, with their incredible helpfulness and courteous nature. They consistently went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable, displaying attentiveness that made us feel valued and well-cared-for. Located within walking distance to Siam Square and adjacent to major shopping havens like MBK, Siam Paragon, and CentralWorld, Daraya’s location could not be more ideal. And for destinations slightly beyond walking distance, a short and convenient taxi ride was all it took to reach our desired attractions. In essence, Daraya Boutique Hotel is a treasure in Bangkok for those in pursuit of a seamless blend of comfort, cleanliness, exceptional service, and a prime urban location. It's a place I would wholeheartedly recommend and eagerly return to on my next visit to the city.

The only thing noteworthy is the absence of in-house dining options. The lack of a restaurant or bar within the hotel itself might be considered a downside for those who prefer the convenience of dining in. However, it is less of an issue and more of a slight inconvenience, given the hotel's location amidst a vibrant array of eateries and the famous Bangkok street food scene. Furthermore, the presence of a 7-Eleven just a five-minute walk away ensures that essentials and quick bites are easily accessible at any hour. This minor quibble aside, the hotel’s advantages significantly outweigh this inconvenience, though guests looking for the complete package of on-site dining facilities might find this aspect wanting.

The location was very central, so easy to get around and reach other parts of the city. The bed is so so comfy, and the room is so nice. Amazing value for money. It feels safe and homey, and the staff is so helpful and friendly.

There was no breakfast available, which was a bit inconvenient although there's many options in the neighbourhood - but if you're an early riser, most breakfast places around the hotel don't open until around 9 or even 10 - so that was a little bit of an inconvenience! Other than that, the hotel is amazing and so comfortable, and would definitely stay here again.

Amazing beds, all the staff was genuinely nice the shower was amazing! It’s close to the mbk mall that has everything it’s close to the 7eleven there are really nice banks to withdraw and exchange money nearby the street is very calm at night. The hotel was one of the highest points in our trip to Bangkok! (And the pool was awesome and quiet!)

Nothing negative to say about this property. The only suggestion would be to have a bar so you can drink a beer in the afternoon but right next 1min away there is a bar so it was totally fine!

Great location. Close to shopping centres and sky train. Hotel provided plenty of information on the local area including restaurants. Staff were amazing but the best thing was how clean and well equipped the rooms were. We had bottled water daily (normal for hotels) but Daraya also provided complimentary cans of coke and snacks (crisps and nuts) which was very much appreciated. The rooms were spotless and cleaned daily to a very high standard. Small pool area was also a benefit after a hot day exploring the city.

The pool is small (which we didn't mind) but there is quite a large area around it and only 2 sunbeds and 1 small table. No other furniture despite there being space. Both days we used the pool meant sitting on a concrete floor to dry off. But this shouldn't put you off visiting - it's a great hotel.

Most things were good. The room was a bit small. The airport pick up service was a struggle, overpriced, and the driver stopped for gas on the way.

Very clean and comfortable rooms. No problems when we requested connected rooms with double and single beds respectively in each room. Rooftop pool was clean as well. Great location only a few minutes walking ro Siam, MBK, sky train etc. Very helpful when booking late evening checkout as well as transport to airport. Great value for money given all the above.

Only thing (and this we knew when booking so cannot be held against them) is that no breakfast is currently being offered as this would be a clear 10 if it had been so now "only 9.5
