I had a catastrophic beginning to our getaway when I misplaced my wallet, thanks to the staff at Mercure Bangkok Siam, that was the only dip in an otherwise amazing getaway. Check-in was a breeze, the staff were very cheerful and efficient. Within a few minutes, we were given the keycards to our room. The room was as pictured; spacious, bright, clean, and tidy. There was no smell, and the toilets were pristine as we entered (goodjob housekeeping!) A reasonably stock minibar was a nice touch, and all the amenities provided worked fine. We had a nice view of the city from both the living room and the bed room. Breakfast was provided, and it was not only adequate but tasty. The location is a plus point, easy to hail Taxis, Grab, Bolt or hop on the local transport (MRT?) which is just a stone's throw away from the hotel door. For nearby shops, there is a 7-11 on the ground floor, and another bigger 7-11 about 50m away from the hotel. There are also some street vendors selling fruits and grilled meats in the evenings. The food sold is cheap and tasty. PS I hope im getting their names correctly; a BIG shoutout to Dej, Tidtee, and Jean for all the wonderful service they provided. I felt as though I was treated as a family member; the way they went about to assist me after my predicament.

About the hotel? NOTHING! Maybe I didn't like that i couldn't spend more time there!

Excellent location, right in front of BTS National Stadium. It’s also close to shopping areas like MBK Center, BACC, Siam Discovery, and Siam Center. Siam Paragon is one skytrain ride away. If you want to explore the riverside, the ferry station is on the same skytrain line, just stop at Saphin Taksin BTS. There is also a 7-11 on the same building. There are some food options near the area like 7-11, A Journey Cafe, McDonald’s in Holiday Inn Express, food stalls right in front of the hotel in the afternoon if you prefer to stay within the area, but you can go to MBK Center where there are lots of food choices - there’s a food court where you can sample authentic Thai and international dishes. There are massage options nearby as well, very close to the hotel. Nice view of the city from the property. There’s a balcony at the lobby area. Gym area on the 29F gives you a 360 view of the area. Bed and sheets are comfortable enough. Kudos to the staff - they are very friendly and helpful especially Nhui from the GF.

The rooms could use some TLC - the shower area doesn’t drain as quickly as it should be. You’d need to wait for 10-15 minutes before it goes down. Carpet, curtains, and sofa are dusty. Not a lot ot food choices in the hotel.

Central Location with very easy access to BTS Sky train, MBK Centre and other popular malls. Very Helpful staff particularly Bell Man Dej who helped arrange good transport, luggage storage after checkout etc.

For the price charged, there wasnt anything as such to dislike. Rooms not very spacious but priced reasonably accordingly. Hotel is located in a building that is split into 2 hotels - Lower floors are IBIS & Higher Floors are Mercure (with Lobby on 9th Floor). Due to this, two elevator rides are needed to reach the room but that is no major hurdle.

I normally used to stay in Novotel Siam which has a more central location compared to Mercure, however, recent reviews of that hotel were alarming so I decided to stay at it's sister hotel Mercure Siam. It was a good decision as the hotel is right in front of another BTS station. It on one end of the main Siam area, right in front of MBK Mall. The most convenient thing about this hotel was the 24 hours 7-11 which was right inside the hotel building so most basic necessities were covered there. Rooms were clean and comfy. The balcony on the reception floor is a nice place to just chill with your friends.

Swimming pool and gym area were very small compared to other hotels in Bangkok. You have to switch two elevators to get to the ground floor, this is due to the fact that 2 hotels (Ibis and Mercure) are sharing the same building. Hotel staff keeps to themselves, which is a good thing on one hand but it lacks the warm welcoming feel that you get in other hotels in Thailand where the staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome every time you meet them.

Location of this hotel is perfect! Close to everything. Worth the money. You get to save on additional transportation expenses because majority can be reach by foot. Breakfast had wide variety. Bellman at the lobby was very helpful in directions and hailing a cab and talking to the driver so as not be scammed. Rooms were fresh and clean and beds are great, I would really recommend this hotel to friends.

1) Location, location, location - BTS station is located right in front of the hotel making public transportation very easy. Even without taking BTS, it’s still within walking distance to MBK and Siam Paragon via overhead bridge walkway through malls. 2) The front desk staffs were very helpful in assisting our queries. 3) 7-11 Convenience store is just downstairs.

1) cleanliness can be improved further. There were ants inside the room and the room was slightly dusty. 2) the staffs in Eight Restaurant could be more friendly.

Great location and welcoming staff. Good facilities. Check-in and Check-out was smooth and easy.

Had a used toothbrush lying on the toilet seat, informed the front desk about it so that it can be removed, but to no avail. Breakfast is ordinary and very limited, unlike my prior experiences with Mercure in other countries. No idea why the executive lounge is closed even after government has lifted all restrictions. Without the lounge there is no point of booking a suite with lounge access and paying for it. Will think twice before booking again though considering it was not value for money spent.
