We like that it’s located very close to the mainline station and the MRT. Also close to Chinatown. The breakfast provided was a very good selection replenished frequently. The staff are very helpful and friendly. We left our chargers behind and we had a message from reception. The staff actually came to the station to pass to us. So we’re very pleased with the service provided. Good value for money. Will recommend

It’s an old hotel and could do with updating the floors above the reception and restaurant and coffee areas which were good. But can’t complain much as breakfast and staff and cleanliness were good for what we pay.

This is my go to hotel in Bangkok. The staff at check in were warm and welcoming. The domestic staff keep the place spotless. The location is perfect, opposite the old train station. The choice of breakfast foods on offer is varied and there is plenty of it, with something to suit all. My room was spotless and comfortable, and on the top floor as requested. The bed linen is cool white cotton as are the towels, and there is aircon and a fan. I have stayed here many times over the years. When in Bangkok I will use this hotel again.

Loved the colonial style of the hall. Staff was super helpful even before our arrival and agreed to serve our breakfast earlier. Food was good. The room was old but clean, with complimentary water and a kettle. Good location, a short walk away from Chinatown.

Rooms are a bit old, also not very soundproofed: you could hear traffic. The plastic bathroom door reminded me of a bathhouse, definitely the room looked better in the pictures. The pillow was really hard and uncomfortable, the bed not much better

Very good lounge and restaurant. I really like the dining space and the food is quite alright. This hotel has the best location among the hotels I've stayed in in China town. I can easily catch the bus, train, and mrt. The stations are all nearby The staff was very friendly and kind to help us when we forgot our personal belongings. The hotel is located on a one-way street along the riverbank so it is quite quiet and has a private view. The atmosphere also made me feel very comfortable.

I have to say that the hallway in the hotel scared me quite a bit because it was long and dark. The equipment in the room and room decoration are also quite old, compared to photos online, so I'm a bit disappointed. I think if the hotel can invest in renovating, at least painting the walls, the room will be better. However, with the booking price, room + location + service, this is a reasonable price for me.

Superb location and a window to old world charm.. a short walking distance to Hua Lamphong train tostation and Chinatown.

Noisy sound of heavy vehicles may be an issue for light sleeper, staying in rooms facing the streets.

The hotel is in a good location, near the Chinаtown, many shopping centers, not far from Lumpini Park and the airport, near the railway station and subway. The room was clean, clean linen and towels, there is a refrigerator, two bottles of water and two sets of coffee, a kettle, a hairdryer, the air conditioner worked well. A comfortable hard mattress, there is a balcony and a great view of the city. Friendly staff, in the morning there is a wonderful and tasty breakfast, which is included in the price. For such a price, a good hotel and service to spend one or two nights here.

The room needs repair, there were no toothbrushes and toothpaste. It was noisy at night, because the hotel is near the road.

Buffet breakfast was good although tables sometimes in short supply. Location is great for Chinatown and for the MRT into Bangkok. Room was quiet and always had fresh towels although didn't always need them.

The restaurant used to be open always but is now closed for I think three days during the week after breakfast service. We used to have a beer there and occasionally a snack but maybe it is not as well used as previously.

We will stay again and recommend The Krungkasem Srikrung Hotel to friends. We arrived from Northern Thailand by train and walked across the pedestrian bridge to the hotel. Super convenient. The MTR subway borders the train station and Chinatown for convenience and ease of movement. It is a vintage hotel and has been recently renovated modestly and with sparkling clean tile finishes. The rooms are large with balconies for fresh air and meeting the morning or wishing the day goodbye. Finally, our stay was a true value, especially when considering the outstanding breakfast.

This is not a hotel to luxuriate in the room all day. There is likely no pool or gym or spa. It is a great base camp for exploration of all that is near, or can be reached by public transport.

We really love this place. Rooms are pretty old, but in good condition and perfectly clean. We’ve actually fallen in love with a lobby and with 1860 cafe - exceptional breakfasts and pretty balanced and interesting design. Breakfast includes muesli, fried eggs, omelette, salads, vegetables, sliced meat, tuna, toasts, sausages, and some lunch food like wok or chicken in Thai sauce. There were various drinks: juices, tea, coffee and even cocoa! All of these were actually tasty. To have breakfast, you need to get a coupon on the reception at first. Location is well - you are in the middle of all: china town, temples, parks, new high-level buildings - all of them are in a walking distance. We used metro only ones. Also we were permitted to leave our luggage for a while, all bags were marked. People are very hospital and polite, always ready to help. We got a room with west side window, so we had beautiful sunsets.

Breakfast is sooooo good, staffs are sooooooo friendly and the room, the location is accessible specially near MRT station, near China Town Night market and other night market, near MBK, its very clean and we have option if we want our room to be cleaned. overall we are so satisfied.
