The 2 bedroom townhouse was very spacious and comfortable for my family. Was great to have a small kitchen and a washing machine. The hosts were lovely and even picked us up and dropped us off at Kanchanaburi station. There is a very nice restaurant around the corner from the accommodation.

I hadn’t realised that the 2 bedroom townhouse had stairs and was located in a separate building. I don’t think the listing made it clear when I booked, but I can see now that the information has been added to booking.com The property is not right in the thick of the main tourist attractions of Kanchanaburi but we found it very easy to use Grab to get around.

Staff were so polite and helpful. They only had service and comfort in mind. Lots of parking space, clean hotel. They were unlimited snacks and cool water available for guests. Room was super comfortable with again complimentary snacks and fridge with water bottles. Room had all the basic things of microwave, utensils, bathroom clean and tidy with toothbrush/paste, soaps etc etc. bed was clean and had additional clean towels. We requested no cleaning necessary as we went out for a hike and in return waster bottles, towels, soaps, snacks, etc were put at the door for us. Super impressed with the staff and management. The staff cannot speak English but were always smiling and helpful. The location is very near to good restaurants, bars and convenience stores.

we loved everything about staying at this property. one of the best places we stayed during a three week visit to Thailand. the room was spotlessly clean. the shower was great, the view onto the garden was just perfect and so quite we slept like babies. breakfast was great, rey good choice. Manee the owner was amazing, she organised our transfers between Bangkok and Kachanaburi communicated brilliantly when we arrived late in the evening and organised a trip to the national park and death valley railway noting was too much trouble. we will definitely be returning for longer on our next trip.

homey vibe. comfy bed! We thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay, even if it was just for one night. The staff members were incredibly friendly, and the location proved to be highly convenient, with just a 1.6 KM walk to the River Kwae Bridge. The area comes alive in the evening, adding to the overall charm. The interior exudes a cozy vibe, and the beds are exceptionally comfortable. We are definitely considering staying here again on our next trip to Kanchanaburi.

Great place to stay for a night or two when you're visiting the Erawan falls or the river. The rooms have a nice vibe, simple and comfy. The place was nice and clean and had all you needed. The breakfast was with Thai food that had a variety of selections. Great dessert options and fruits. The fresh coconut was so tasty! The staff was very accommodating with all requests.

The place doesn't have a 24h reception and if you arrive later, you will find the door locked. So announce your arrival time beforehand. The breakfast had only one clear protein option of chicken, which was tasty but the pasta dishes or the others didn't have much going for them in term of protein (meats).

We really enjoyed our stay at Chez Bure. The room was large, super clean and had everything we needed. The owner of the guest house was really nice, helpful and friendly. Complimentary water, tea, coffee and snacks were provided at the reception. The location was good too, very close to shops, bars, cafes, etc. There was a cafe a 2 minute walk away. We had a really good time and will stay here again for sure when we come back to Kanchanaburi 😊

The room was clean & spacious with a large comfortable bed. Welcome pack of snacks & drinks on arrival. Small balcony & clothes pegs provided if you need to do any any washing. Reception staff friendly, but only present during the daytime. The buffet breakfast served from 7 - 10am was superb with different choices each day. The hotel is a 15-20 minute walk from the River Kwai Bridge & Railway station. There are a few Thai food eateries & street food sellers a short walk away.

On the first night the electrical supply in our room kept cutting out - whilst having a shower, watching TV, etc. which was most annoying and apparently there was no one available to fix the problem. However, we were offered an adjacent room the next day which was fine.

Very nice Hotel, rooms are big, bright and have a nice view to the gardenside! Extremely comfortable beds and the staff is just exceptionally friendly, although not really fluent in english but we could communicate quite well and all the needs were met! Breakfast was delicious, a variety of thai dishes; fried rice, pad see ew, stir-fried vegetables, sommerrolls, thai chinese doughnuts and some cookies. They also prepare fresh fruit and eggs (scrambled, omelett, fried eggs). The location is in the middle of the main street River Kwai Road - it takes you about 8-10min to walk to the River Kwai Bridge on the one end and the Death Railway Museum on the other end. Lots of restaurants and massage parlors in the vicinity.

such a lovely property. very helpful staff (the lady on reception was so helpful!) beautiful bright rooms.

we had a bit of a problem with checking in. we had been up to hellfire pass for the afternoon and on returning at 6pm we wanted to check in to our room. it took 30 mins for someone to come and check us in. they were apologetic but it was quite annoying. the location is ok as you are between the railway station and the bridge. if you have a scooter this will not be a problem but it was quite a good walk to get to the different attractions.

The room was fantastic! Great decor, full of light, small balcony. There was a daily drop off of water and toiletries also which was much appreciated.

We wanted to do laundry as it’s listed as a service for an additional charge. However when we asked to do it we were told it’s not done there. So we went and used a laundrette instead (there was a great one 5 mins away). Really not a big deal, but it was inconvenient and misleading that it says it’s a facility at the property.
