Everything about this resort is amazing. great location (walking distant to the kwai bridge) 711, lotus express also near by. The resort it self was amazing. Good sizes swiming pool, clean and tidy. Rooms are spacious and amazing, helpfull staff. We specially love food at the restaurant, every dishes just tastes amazing. Prices are great, not expensive at all.

Too loud with the music from house boats at night time. They do not stop untill midnight.

The breakfast choices were amazing and always topped up and hot. Nice to have an egg station. We ate at the restaurant every night as there was a varied menu and the staff were accommodating to changes that we asked of them. A big shout out for Marissa who was exceptional in the restaurant , so friendly and interacting with the guests young and old!! Keep up the awesome work Team. The hotel restaurant is alongside the river so is very interesting watching the happenings on the river and amazing sunsets! The beds in the room were really comfortable with a choice of pillows😀 The two pools were well maintained and refreshing. The location is excellent with a 20 minute walk down to the bridge over the river Kwai and the JEATH museum and also up to the cemetery and museum. We had an absolutely wonderful stay for 6 nights and would 100% recommend staying here. Thank you to everyone, you made our stay in Kanchanaburi very pleasant. Keep up the great customer service!!

Nothing at all.

The staff at the front desk are very helpful and speak English very well. The hotel is located right next to the river with a good restaurant directly on the waterfront and a cute little wooden pier. The two pools are super relaxing and clean, the many plants and bushes give the Resort a real jungle-vibe. The rooms were clean and cozy, with enough room to move around. Laundry service was simple and good. Breakfast was really good with a lot of variety every day of Classic Thai dishes. The tours available are very well organised and super fun.

The Wi-Fi was super spotty the first two days sadly, so we kind of "had" to go outside to the restaurant where is was somewhat stable. A very small minor thing, which was fixed on day three so still an excellent Resort I recommend!

I loved this place. Can easily be overlooked as it appears on the map as on the main street rather than the waterfront. Staff were excellent, from reception, restaurant (Ann in particular), to the resorts tuk tuk bike driver who went slow over bumps so as not to splash my open coffee while taking me to the station. I do not normally stay at resorts or upmarket hotels. Basic, clean, good value, and well located is all I need. But this place fitted all the above plus had a lovely garden, pool/s, lagoon and restaurant setting. The staff were always cleaning and sweeping. The restaurant setting and atmosphere at night is 12/10. 😁 I did not eat down at the floating restaurants at the bridge, the resort restaurant was just as nicely located. The resort is obviously an older complex, the old fashioned rustic floor in my room was evidence of this, but room was nicely decorated and bathroom had been renovated. Why pay more money for a newer hotel with less atmosphere?

My only small complaint was the TV which obviously has a complex set up. On the first night I could not get any channels so a guy at reception tried to fix it immediately, without success. When I returned to the room the following day the TV was on and working, but that night when trying to change channels I lost all control and could not change. There needs to be instructions on what buttons to use on both remotes to avoid others having the same problem. I did not have any problems at other hotels.

The property was beautiful. The location on the river was wonderful. We really liked the choice of two pools. It was an oasis. We really enjoyed the restaurant as well. Our room was quiet and comfortable.

There were ashtrays outside the rooms and around the pools. A very few people took advantage of this and were smoking which, unfortunately affected the majority of people that were not smoking or into smelling smoke. I would appreciate it if it was not encouraged at the resort as I am allergic and had to move away a few times. Many other people just don’t like the smell of it and secondhand smoke is very bad for you. So it would be very nice if the resort did not encourage smoking.

Definitely recommend staying here - fantastic value for money. Nice big, clean, comfortable room with a balcony looking over the garden and pools. Two pools of which the larger one is a decent size so great for ‘proper’ swimmers! Restaurant location is perfect next to the river - breakfast has a massive choice and food the rest of the day is very good. The grounds are well looked after. The staff are all lovely and friendly and so helpful - especially on reception where they make sure you have all the information you need. You can walk to most of the historical sites from here or the hotel staff will sort out taxis and there are a lot of trips further afield too.

Beautiful place right on the river. Two excellent pools, one huge and excellent for swimming. Lovely grounds, tended with care. Marisa in the restaurant is wonderful-very helpful and knowledgeable. The food was also great, with a huge range of choices at breakfast. The hotel organised tours. We booked one to Erawan, Hellfire Pass, finishing with a ride on the railway. I am not generally a fan of tours, but I have to say that this was really exceptional. Kanchanaburi is a very good place to visit.

I thought it was very odd to welcome guests with a list of fines and the instruction not to clean shoes with the towels. Who would do that anyway? There are bicycles to rent, but they were mainly broken and inadequate. And this is a shame for the hotel given how lovely the surroundings are, but there is a lot of noise at night. Pounding amplified music for hours (several nights in a row) and barking dogs. These little things are a pity as most aspects of the hotel are fantastic-and it’s very good value.

I enjoyed our short stay, it was very peaceful and atmosphere was great( garden design, pool, rooms and restaurant part with river view) I would recommend to everyone to book with your hotel.

We had an unfortunate with trein travel and missed the stop and had to go to the last stop and come back which took us 3 hours lost and started our day with frustration and called couple of times to get advise and if hotel could arrange taxi but reception said was not possible and when finally get off at River Kwai bridge tried to find taxi but could not see any and my phone was dead which grab app use not possible, used my daughter phone and called again asked them if they send us taxi but they said if I walk further could find tuktuk which I did in the end but did not feel that hotel staff went for customer support and extra mile.

The view from our room at the river was very relaxing. Friendly and helpfull staff. Lunch en dinner menu in the restaurant. The hotel's local taxiservice. The tours the resort offers. Private deck at the river! Attention to detail that was put in the room. Would definitly book again when in this region.

We missed a place to put our suitcase. So we had to put it in the middle of the room. The bathroom is quite simple compared to the rest of the room.

- Awesome huge room with a lot of space - almost bigger than my flat at my home. - Great view on the river with nice sunrise / sunset. - Very friendly staff. - Tasting breakfast - you can choose between western food and some thai food or fruit etc. - I felt like in luxury hotel with low price to pay. - Because of hot weather / cold AC and spicy food, I had huge nosebleed during sleep and made a lot of mess on sheets and bed. I expected I would have to pay for messed sheets. But I did not have to, so thank you very much for that!

Hot weather :-) But thats not problem of hotel.
