We travel as backpackers and as a couple. We just loved it here. The staff is so nice and they do their best to help you! There were only three more guests staying in Cicada Lanta and only us having booked the stay with breakfast, so they opened their kitchen every morning only for us. Very cute! We even booked two more nights, as we felt so comfortable and on ease. The huts are very basic. You'll find everything you need. They are exactly how they look on the pictures and it's very clean. I loved it that the huts are made of wood. And there are so many handmade details everywhere - absolutely fantastic. We do have enough concrete at home. So this just fits so much better! I also love how they created the garden area. We would often sit on our little porch in front of the huts and enjoy the garden or do Yoga. I really don't like all these big resorts coming up. So if you look for a more authentic place but still kind of like to have it clean and nice: This is the place to stay! 🫶🏽

We stayed here during low season (August), so the area was quiet and nice. We slept wonderful. (The beds are very comfortable!) I don't know how it is during high season. As the huts aren't isolated that well, it's not soundproof and I guess the street behind the resort is more busy. So if you're a light sleeper: Bring ear plugs.

Property was amazing, authentic, in a beautiful scenario. Would like to return again.

Can’t say nothing negative except that it’s lacking bit of storage and hanging space, also little stronger lighting in the bathroom. Other than that it was beautiful. Thank you everyone at Cicada. 💜

Beautiful place! Close to the beach

Only feedback I would give… to use the kettle you have to unplug the fridge because there is only one plug. Otherwise everything was great and super clean!

This is such a sweet hotel. The staff are so lovely, the rooms seemed new or newly refurbished. Massive fridge and new appliances. Wish we could’ve stayed longer! Had a lovely beach 2 min walk away (felt safe to walk around a night as well (some bigger resorts nearby).

Wonderfully designed bungalows like an upturned boat bow. Really cozy and memorable stay. The on-site cafe is unusually good with homemade pastries and bread. The staff, manager and owner are great folk to chat with. 5 ✨✨✨✨✨

The room and the facilities were really clean. Price worthy. But you have to rent a moto.

The bures were amazing. Absolutely beautiful and comfortable. The staff were helpful.

The location didn’t suit us. Too far north and we went in the off season and the beach was not great. There was no restaurant (or pool) so not a great location for the off season.

Bed was really comfy and soft. The huts are really cute. Good location.

Cockroaches! We had a few in the room and bathroom every day but the staff did clean them. We aren’t bothered by them but it did get annoying. There are LOTS of mosquitos in this area and the room doesn’t seem to keep them out so we got bit a lot.
