nice location, good powerful shower, comfortable bed with good aircon.. nice, helpful owners, good value for money

bathrooms need updating as very old, pool didn’t work or was very dirty, maybe filter not working but didn’t look like it was suppose to be used. old post say the same so I’m assuming it’s been like that for a while.. I’m sure when it was first painted and new was a very nice resort but everything needs renewing, everything needs painting again and in general the whole property just looked a little run down but I’m sure with some maintenance and new paint would make it a lovely place to stay. probably wouldn’t go back as there’s many resorts for the same money or a bit more that will be in better condition.

I loved my stay at the White Cottage from the first minute to the last. The staff was very attentive, offering help with facilities, tours and taxi. Plenty of drinking water provided. The bungalow had enough privacy and yet you don't feel lonely around other people. The location is excellent, the beach is very close and yet you don't have to overpay for a beachfront resort. The walk to the beach is short and through another resort with night lighting. Plenty of eating options around, a nice massage place, a grocery store so basically everything you need. There is a pool at the hotel where you can freshen up or swim any time of the day (or night). There were no insects in the room and only a few mosquitoes outside in the evening. The air conditioning and the shower worked well. I felt completely comfortable and safe and would definitely come back to stay again.

If I had to be really picky, some of the towels provided were old. The chairs by the pool are not very nice-looking. There is a bar counter so I think some drinks during the day would definitely be a plus. The beach is not picture-perfect as many expect from Thailand but on a sunny and hot day it's good enough.

This is a rather cosy place with a very nice vibe. I really can’t thank enough the manager - she was super friendly and helpful and she does an amazing job! The owner is also very friendly and nice. The hotel is right next to Karma which is a great place for chill/drinks. Also, Fisherman’s village is 10 minutes on foot away. So the location is just perfect

Maybe some freshening up could do, bungalow 7 where I initially lived looks kinda tired. However bungalow 9 where I moved afterwards is great. Also renewing the towels could come handy. But besides this my experience with this hotel was a very pleasant one!

This is a very comfortable little resort. The rooms have surprisingly high ceilings and feel very breezy and natural. The location is good, just a short walk to the beach, and close to the Fisherman's Village. The small pool is nicely lit at night. The bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well

There was an issue with water shortage on the last day, probably caused by the construction nearby. However, the rest of the stay, the water availability, and the appearance of the bathroom were not an issue. Everything was clean and worked well.

We stayed here for two nights before having to fly out from Koh Samui airport to head home again. The hotel was lovely, big bed, big bathroom, good AC. But the thing that really stood out to us was the friendliness of the staff. We had booked a day tour that we had wrongly thought would get back by 5pm, and had left our laundry with a dry cleaning service near the hotel - hoping to pick it up by 6pm. It was only once we were on said tour, that we were told we would not get back till 8pm. Naturally I started to panic that all our clothes would be stranded in Thailand, because we had a plane to catch by 6am the next day and would miss the laundry places opening times! In my worries, I messaged the receptionist to ask if we could pay her to help us collect our laundry. Not only did she agree to help us, she refused to let us pay her even the smallest tip for the help offered! We noticed a lot of the other patrons were also on very good terms with the owners, so it must not just be us, it seems they are just very genuine and lovely people, who's business I would gladly support again.

Our hosts were lovely & welcoming! Gave us lots of recommendations & helped us to organise a taxi. The cats around the property were adorable! 10 minute walk to the night market was perfect for our 1 night stay. Room was beautifully furnished, clean and the AC was the best we have had in Thailand so far! Would definitely come back for a couple of days when visiting Koh Samui again.

Really hard to pick out anything we didn’t enjoy but if we had to choose one thing it would be the water pressure in the bathroom shower & sink is quite intermittent.

I liked the staff at the property - very welcoming, polite, friendly. I like the cleanliness of the property. The resorts next to the property allow you to use their facilities if you buy a drink which was great so you can sit on a lounge chair on the beach and have a beer in the evening (or at anytime, you’re on holiday right?!?!?) Don’t miss out on the food at the Omsin restaurant at the end of the driveway - delish!

The property was a little further away from the fisherman’s village and markets, easily walkable (about 10 minutes) but as a solo female I didn’t feel that comfortable walking alone to the village at night. The walk to the main road is very dark at night. Don’t forget your insect repellent.

One of my favorite places we stayed on our trip so far. the staff were so welcoming and full of information and help in any way we needed. the location was excellent - walking distance to Arne. beach and food markets. we were even suggested to use facilities next door at the ‘fancy’ hotel and their beach access if we ate or drank something there . Had best of both worlds! the rooms were clean and comfy and the setting is very friendly. the staff even prepared us a surprise breakfast takeaway out of their own pocket as they knew we were leaving super early to catch a ferry. I will definitely be back again and recommending this place to many.

the entrance was a little confusing - but other than that I cannot fault the place!

Really nice place and friendly staff. This hotel has a very good value for money i would say. the rooms are simple and not luxury, But they have everything needed and spacious. i had an area in front of my room with outside sitting place and also a place to hang towels outside. AC works very good. Very close to the beach. Nice pool area. I liked it and if i am in samui i would stay here again

We had a great stay! Location was good lots of bars and restaurants and the beach less than a 5 minute walk. Fisherman’s village 15 minute walk or less than 300 baht in a grab. Staff were so helpful and friendly. It was my partners birthday whilst we was away and they decorated the room for us which was very much appreciated 😃

The door had quite a large gap so mosquito’s were able to come into the room but with the curtains closed and the use of the mosquito net around the bed at night time it wasn’t much of an issue.
