The compound from the entrance, to the trees surounding the huts, and finally to the beach is beautiful. The hotel itself has the most stylish design I've ever seen. The rooms are large, romantic, organized and have a free coffee machine. It is well designed and immaculately clean. The staff are charming - each and every one, and respond like lightning when you need them. They were even willing to give us a room 3 hours before the check in time simply beacause "they are ready". They are beyond a doubt the hotel's strongest point. The receptionist "Cookie" who recieved us was especially caring. The hotel's beach was wonderful, sunny and secluded with free kayaks to borrow. The Bars were open at good times and the food at breakfast and dinner was a rich array of dishes to serve any pallete. I recommend it a thousand times over.

The small gripe is that the hotel compound was so large one needs the bucky-cars to ride him around; Sometimes it's great fun, sometimes it's a hassle. But the bigger gripe is the awful laundry service: It costs a fortune which we paid in no other hotel in thailand, it had extra hidden payments in the form of VAT which wasn't written upfront, and it was slow to boot. It is a disgusting blemish on a otherwise perfect painting of a Koh Samui hotel.

We have been vacationing in Koh Samui for twenty-four years and this was our best stay. W Hotel is charming and lobby pool adds a nice touch, especially for the nightly fire dancers. Our room was surprising large compared to other top Samui hotels and included a private pool and spectacular view of the ocean over the adjacent forest canopy. I cannot begin to praise the staff enough. The buggy drivers were always helpful and during one rain storm they delivered us directly to our car in the parking garage thus avoiding a transfer in the rain in front of the hotel. The driver waited and then guided us out to the access road which was another nice touch. Food, especially the Thai options were delicious and surpassed the dinner we had at a nearby resort that has a lengthy discourse on the high quality of their chef and Thai food on their web site. We had several meals in our pool villa and the service was excellent and it was lovely to enjoy our private dining from our own deck overlooking the beautiful view. We also returned this trip for another excellent Japanese meal at the featured restaurant, Namu. It is not surprising why they continue to win awards after you enjoy their lobster with spicy noodles. Service was never farther than a call away and our requests were frequently handled by Aimee who is not only super-efficient but also charming. She met and exceeded our requests and also provided shopping tips and restaurant recommendations, It was interesting to compare our years of visiting Samui with here more recent experiences. W Hotel provides lovely rooms, great dining experience and an unmatched excellent staff and I would highly recommend staying there.

The room is beautiful and the service is amazing! We had a wonderful stay at W. Everything went well from the moment we checked in until we checked out. Reservation Team, Welcome Team, Food & Beverage Team (thank you Gift and May and everyone in F&B team for taking good care of us), the cooks at the Kitchen Table, including a very yummy customized Indian vegetarian main course by the Indian master chef, Buggy team and the people at the beach (Boss) are super friendly. Everyone always checked up on us and helped out with whatever we need. Big compliments!

Only setback were the occasional mosquito bites, despite the regular fumigation in the resort area.

We stayed at W Samui for 2 nights at the end of our trip around the Samui archipelago. It served as a perfect finale for our journey. The hotel is beautifully situated on a private beach, offering picturesque views throughout the resort that tempt you to capture them in a photo. Our Tropical Oasis room is one of the most beautiful and spacious hotel rooms I have ever stayed in. And I should not forget to mention it features a private pool, which of course is amazing. The front desk can be easily reached via WhatsApp or the Line app, ensuring efficient communication for any queries or special needs. The food and drinks we enjoyed were delicious, and the staff were consistently super friendly and helpful. To conclude this review I must highlight Ammie, who went above and beyond in her warm and friendly care for our family. From assisting us at check-in to recommending various resort activities, such as Fire shows at Woobar and sunset dinners on the beach, she ensured we had the best experience possible. She also took special care of our 4-year-old son providing him with an occasional cookie or ice cream. And even personally crafting a beautiful souvenir for him that he absolutely loved. Thanks W Samui and Ammie for the amazing end of our journey.

Some maintenance could be done here and there. But overall the place looks amazing and it did not disturb the overall experience.

The staff make the hotel. Nothing is ever too much trouble. All so friendly, helpful and thoughtful. The Woo Bar has a great relaxing vibe, with wonderful views out to the sea. The nightly fireshow in the bar is worth a watch. The Saturday night BBQ on the beach is great. Breakfast, a great selection of food. Highly recommend the hotel.

The whole experience was wonderful.

This is my first stay in this hotel and I would say and recommend that this hotel is suitable for couple that prefer a good loving romancing there. Very privacy Indeed. I booked an oasis private villa room with garden view with a private. I enjoyed the stay with my wife, it was our anniversary we stayed for 4 days with a nice arrangement from hotel for our anniversary. We went for a private span in the resort the staff was amazing! Nat the Spa manager was very polite and helpful also the other staff in the Spa; Thip and Bum they were great! The breakfast is outstanding the staff is full of energy we still remember the cheerful waiter named Alex he is amazing! We had so much fun at the W Koh Samui. It was great. Keep it up guys!

The staff were super friendly especially at the restaurant. Lucas and his team were great The private beach was nice. We had a villa with private pool and beach access which was very convenient The lobby was beautiful. The location was away from the lively areas so keep that in mind but since we spent 2 days in Chaweng and 2 in W we did not mind the peaceful stay The kids went crazy over the free ice cream spots The service and the facilities at W really speak for a 5-star hotel. I hope they keep it up and keep improving

Mosquitoes! The repellents were not working with the mosquitoes

Staff were exceptional. Shout out to the in-house yoga/Pilate instructor, she was awesome. The technicians, waiters, receptionists, and buggy drivers were all very friendly and helpful! the bed gave us some of the best night sleeps. the sweetspots were thoughtful, and we really enjoyed the tennis court. breakfast spread was incredible and the food in general from their restaurants were yummy. beach inside the resort was nice. btw, they gave us an upgrade.

quite a bit of mosquitoes (not that they can really do anything about it). the gym was nice but definitely could be upgraded. hated the red lights/decorations in the room (glad the technicians can switch them off for us) and the room were overall a little dim. there could be a small shower place near the Japanese restaurant exit from the beach (sandy feet all the way to where we lived). the location isn’t convenient - be prepared to call taxis or rent a car to get out of the hotel.
