If I could give a 20 I would. Wonderful small, family run hotel Spotlessly clean Comfortable, large rooms with balcony. Very friendly staff who were very helpful and kind No Kettle in the room but complimentary coffee/ tea station in the lobby. 3 minutes walk to main street of Salandan. Beautiful grassy area with palm trees out the front of the hotel right next to the beach. Very quiet beach and beautiful safe swimming area We swam every day for 5 days and only once was there someone else in the water with us. Definitely be back 💖🙏

Aloha Lanta exceeded all expectations! The highlight was undoubtedly the breathtaking sea view from our room, making our stay truly unforgettable. Situated just steps away from the sea, the location couldn’t have been more perfect. As a family-owned business, there was a warmth and personal touch to every interaction. Peter’s exceptional attention to detail made our time in Koh Lanta truly special. His invaluable tips, assistance in booking tours, and securing reservations at restaurants at great prices truly enhanced our experience. Highly recommend for a memorable stay!

The location is quiet but within easy walking distance to restaurants, markets and tourist pier. The view ended up being one of my favorites on this trip. Sitting on the balcony, feeling the sea breeze and looking at all the colors of the water was my favorite. The room is basic but spotlessly clean. The bathrooms are well maintained with good hot water, a rarity in these parts for these prices. I must also mention how helpful the young man and his family that run the hotel were in securing tours and transfers. He is kind, honest and just wants the guests to have a good experience in his town.I'd consider it an excellent value stay and would absolutely book again.

Nothing, was great. You may have to walk up a couple flights to your room, so please keep in mind if you have mobility issues.

I stayed 4 nights, combined vacation and remote working. The hotel is located in a perfect location for me: walking distance to the pier to go onboard for diving trips, in a quite area overlooking a serene beach with fantastic sunset, and close to many restaurants. The room is very clean, and the bed is one of the most comfy ones I've used (I prefer harder mattresses). It's family owned, and the owners are super nice. They're there for you whenever needed, and never overselling any info. I feel very comfortable and safe there. Highly recommended!!!

Our stay at the Aloha Lanta could not have been more fabulous. The location is excellent, and Peter and his family were exceptionally kind and helpful. Cannot recommend this place enough for a visit to Koh Lanta. The facilities are basic but have absolutely everything you need and are spotless. Extremely reasonably priced and definitely worth the little extra for the ocean view from the third floor if you can get it. Aloha Lanta is the kind of place that when you come back to, It feels Like coming home 🥰

Excellent guest house, with very attentive and nice family. I loved everything about my stay there. The location is not far from restaurants and street food, and there is a very quiet beach in front of the hotel. The room was comfortable and spacious. Only reason for me leaving this place was because of no swimming pool (which you don’t necessarily need because you have the sea but could not work for us). Thank you Peter and family ! We will come back here next time if we do not have any injury and we can enter the sea 😂😁

I liked the proximity to restaurants and ferry pier. The owners are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I was sick with a cold and I was asked every day if I was okay and if I needed anything. The beach is okay with little shade and gets shallow with the tide. There are beach towels, tea kettle and many more things, you just have to ask. A renovation is pending according to another post and that will add to the quaint hotel.

The bed was a little hard for us.

This modest, family-run hotel had one of the best views we experienced on our trip to Thailand. The room was spacious and clean and the family who run it were so helpful and kind. The hotel is a short walk to the market and shopping streets, but far enough away from the noise to get a quiet night's sleep.

We liked everything! Just note that it doesn't have a swimming pool and the beach is more of a place to walk than swim, but the location is still beautiful and close to everything you need.

The owners are charming, helpful and very reactive. They also take care of reservations for visits. The room is simple and comfortable and the value for money is very good. We had two communicating rooms and two bathrooms, which was very practical as we were travelling with our two daughters. The hotel is very well located, with restaurants and markets within walking distance, as well as the beach.

Family owned business. The owners are wonderful people! They go over and above to make sure your stay is as enjoyable as possible. They arranged all my tours, booked my next travel transportation, and everything else I needed. Excellent service! Walking distance from the Ferry Pier, excellent restaurant across the street, nice/quiet location, and short distance to lots of amenities! Will definitely go back there.
