We liked almost everything in the hotel except several things. We liked: 1) the territory. It’s vast and full of wildlife that is interesting to explore. There’re 2 infinity pools with bars and sun beds on the beach 2) the staff is friendly and ready to help especially with annoying neighbors 3) the hotel is next to cafes, restaurants and massage salons which are twice cheaper than hotel facilities

What we didn’t like: 1) room on the 1st floor. Rooms aren’t equipped with noise isolation, so guests living on the 1st floor hear everything all the time cause other guests pass by you. It’s a pity that some guests aren’t well-behaved and don’t understand that singing songs and playing in the hall at night disturbs others however the hotel can install signs warning of it 2) breakfasts are not various and the same every day. Selection of fruits is poor despite the season 3) there is not shuttle to the town, so I’ve to take a taxi which is really overpriced. 600 thb for 1 way if to take in the hotel and 400 thb outside

In general, the hotel and the facilities are really beautiful and well-maintained. Due to the location of the Hotel and the poor connection by public transport, I would recommend booking the tours offered by the hotel. It is true that they are a bit more expensive but if you coordinate everything on your own it is much more stressful. The tours are amazing, comfortable, and super well organized. The privileged location in front of the beach is a super plus! We have dinner all the time in the evening in front of the beach and was amazing! We had a little problem during our stay and the staff solved it quickly and efficiently. We believe it is a resort more for families and couples who like to meet people because you have a lot of facilities and different activities to do, which makes everything more comfortable. In our case, we like small hotels with a lot of small details, but for being a huge beach resort the feeling and the treat the staff gave us was amazing from the beginning until the end. We would definitely recommend the hotel, we have tried the sound meditation, and was a really great experience. If you want to spend some days in the comfort of a resort in front of the beach, Dusit Thani is a great decision.

The only thing we believe they can improve is the room. For a 5-star hotel, we think it should be a bit more modern and comfortable. Nevertheless, our stay there was pleasant and good. Additionally, agree with a comment we read before which says they should offer shuttle services at least at estimated times to the nearest town. I have to say, nothing we did not like, just some little details that we believe could be improved :)

Fantastic! Firstly the staff , so friendly and efficient ! It really is beachfront with comfortable loungers provided and always available . Lovely View of the sea and garden from the balcony . State of the art gym . Fabulous swimming pool . Room is large and hotel is set in what seems like a tropical forest kept pristine by the gardeners. Everything works like clockwork probably due to Swiss manager! Good plentiful and varied with three restaurants . The lounge provides free afternoon tea and a light salad in the evening and would thoroughly recommend as the staff are very helpful, especially Diamond, Laura , Palita and Sky whose good humour is uplifting! A special thanks to Amits for solving a minor problem.

Can’t fault it but if there was one thing I would live is to have Al bran Cereal available for breakfast - that would be a first for most hotels even in the UK . It must be said the breakfast selection was vast and varied !

Everything, from start to finish. Breakfast selection was massive, catered towards all. Thai food, Indian food, European food, fresh fruits, cheese and more. Overall an exceptional resort. 15mins taxi ride into Ao Nang. Hotel provides taxi service but I would reccomend walking out and going to the taxi point which is located just outside as you'll get a better deal. 7 eleven is just outside so you can pick up drinks and snacks if you don't want to pay too much. Will deffinately return.

The first word that came up when we arrived at the hotel is 'paradise'. We received a very (!) professional and friendly welcome at this hotel. The receptionist was fluent in English. All members of the staff were exceptional. The infinity pools have the most amazing view over the sea. A lot of green at this resort as well. The rooms are really nice and clean and there's a sliding door in the bathroom to see your room and balcony view. We had both a bath and shower. Even with rainy weather, the resort looks like paradise. Also the group sessions were really nice, but make sure to book in advance. The hotel is family friendly as well. From all the hotels and resorts we visited in Thailand, Dusit Thani is the one I want to come back to. We are now in Koh Phi Phi and I am already missing this resort!

Not many food options for lunch and dinner, but the food that they have is really good. There's also a restaurant next to the resort on the beach with decent food for decent prices. If you want good food for good prices, go to Ao Nang. For activities, go to the nice lady next to the 7 eleven store outside the hotel. She can arrange everything from transport to activities for a better price. Massage was quite expensive, so we went to the one next to the hotel on the beach for a much cheaper price which was really good with the sea sound on the background.

- the music and the music band near the pool.. we were looking for quite atmosphere - breakfast food - the price of the 4 island trip twice cheaper if you book at the bottom of the hotel rather the top of the hotel - the club rooms are actually exactly the same than the standard room except the size of the TV, and the access to afternoon teas, or horsd'oeuvre before diner - interior design of lobby

My Fiancé and I have traveled to many locations within Thailand over the past 3 years and Krabi rates as one of our favorites. We especially found the Dusit Thani Beach Resort an exceptional place to stay as it is very private, is family friendly (not that we have children) with many amenities and the activities available are plenty. The staff was courteous and kind and the excursions were a good value especially the James Bond Island tour and the Phi Phi Island tour. We will be back with our family for another stay.

Location, staff super friendly and helpful. Great pools, great breakfast. Fantastic service.

Resort was lacking a shuttle into Ao Nang as taxis were expensive

friendliness, hospitality and helpfulness of the staff are beyond all expectations. everything in time, you dont have to worry about anything. the second thing to be mentioned - is totally incredible garden of the hotel. full of exotic plants from all over the world, it's like a garden of Eden. In some way it is even more attractive than the sea. There are plenty of birds singing around, 1.5 м varanuses and even terrestrial hermit-crabs the size of a small mellon. It's really difficult to leave all these wonders and go to the beach, where you can escape the sun in the shade of casuarias and Bengal almonds, whose reddened leaves slowly fall into the jade water of the Andaman Sea. Pretty sure there must be a monument to the landscaper and to those who day by day cares about this wonderful garden. The hotel is huge and full of people but everything is set up in a such way that you feel that there're no other people at all. Exquisite pools, amazing food, sophisticated drinks - everything is just perfect!
