Beautiful location along the river. It was very quiet and peaceful listening to the sounds of the jungle critters. Nice spots to bathe in the sun, sit on the swings or relax in a hammock if you have one of the cottages. Refillable drinking water. Friendly host who checked in with us each time we saw him. Literally a stroll across the bamboo bridge in to the town. A spot to store any scooters you want to rent. Only a 10 min drive to the Big Buddha, 20 min drive to the Canyon & 30 min drive to a waterfall etc.

Naturally you will get bugs due to where you are but we seemed to have an infestation of ants in the bathroom that we had to keep on top of. One evening we opened the door to find hundreds of ants all over the bathroom. We did ask for our room to be cleaned on day 2 which it was but it didn’t seem to help with the situation. We were only staying 3 nights so it was just about manageable to not raise a request to move.

The location is excellent for the Walking Street area and getting to the bus station. Staff were very pleasant and responded quickly when we requested an extra mattress for a child.

The site wifi was non existent in our hut (Mountain View) but not a major problem. Our hut had no wardrobe / storage space. Whilst this is no problem for a short stay, I would recommend one of the larger huts for a longer stay.

Beautiful natural location just over the bamboo bridge. Very kind, attentive staff with a chilled vibe. It's easy to walk to the waterfall and the big white Buddha from here. The little hut was sweet and good enough for us. Good hot water, lovely balcony with cushions. It's also great to have a mosquito net.

It didn't bother us, but the bedroom area is just big enough for the big bed. We are travelling very light so there was room for 2 under the seat type backpacks on the floor. If you have a giant backpack or a suitcase you might struggle to find a convenient space to leave it.

The hut was exactly as I had expected from the publicity statement. It was basic, which was just perfect for the riverside and laidback vibes of Pai itself. The host was most helpful & a happy sole. I had an issue with the sink which was solved as soon as I had mentioned it. Recommend this site, bamboo bridge direct to the end of the walking market street. Close to the bus stations and tour operators. I would return happily.

The colour of the water from the tap, once my issue was resolved it became more appealing.

Location is excellent - a romantic bamboo bridge over a river to the main action of Pai, and the bungalows overlooking the river surrounded by nature is as idyllic as it sounds. Personally I’m a motorbike person, and the rides around this area are probably the best of my life - up to Doi Miang past the bamboo bridge, or over to the hot springs for a bathe, truly magnificent.

Only thing for me would be the late night music noise from the town coupled with the early morning sweeping from the cleaning staff or family of kids running around - it somehow is both vibes at once - a thronging active nightlife area AND an early morning get up and yoga vibe, personally I’m a night owl so luckily had headphones to put on at 8am.

the location, you’re a 1 minute walk (a beautiful walk at that) to the centre, near the food, booking trips and bars, you can pick mountain views or river (I recommend river) with a hammock, I was sad to leave our little hut it was lovely. the staff were very kind and easy to talk to and assist us with extending our stay. nothing was any trouble. there were cows nearby and a white horse, actually like a little fairytale

the bed wasn’t that comfy and creaked every time you moved and had a pretty small duvet for two adults we did get ants in our bathroom, not a huge issue as we know we were in nature.

Incredibly peaceful riverside place but 2 minutes to the Walking Street over a really sweet bamboo bridge. Make sure you get a riverside bungalow because the view is beautiful. Free cold water all day, and free coffee in the morning. Lovely chill out area. Staff are absolutely delightful. I can't wait to return. Note that, at this unbelievably low price, you won't get stuff like a wardrobe and maybe the shower pressure isn't ideal ... ohm 🙏

A great, beautiful and peaceful place to stay in Pai. Very clean and good size room. Comfy bed and pillows. We stayed 6 nights in a bungalow with ac. There is a little balcony where you can relax and enjoy the view to the river. Very beatiful area and the staff is very helpful and nice. Free water refill and coffee in the morning. Location is great. Just couple of minutes walk to the walking street and to the restaurants. Can totally recommend Baan Pai Riverside Resort.

Wifi signal could have been better in the room.

The location was great. The room is VERY simple, so don’t expect for too much… Simple means you get only one toilet paper pack for the entire stay and you need to throw the trash (if you want) The only thing that does renew every day is the bottle of water. You should just take it in account. The location is fabulous, the river is just up front and you can lie on the sun while listening to the famous water wheel. It is very close to the walking street as well.

One toilet paper. Why? One trash bag, which you need to replace by yourself and ask for a new bag at the reception. There were tourists who walked around the bungalow late at night, they were sitting nearby having a conversation loudly, and it bothered to sleep.

The hospitality of the staff is unmatched. I was injured and they made sure I was doing okay at all times. The owner (I think) often played the guitar in the common ground and invites guests to relax. The environment is Incredibly safe and friendly. I will forever cherish the memories I made here. The location is great as well, facing a river. Very calming. Will definitely return when visiting Pai. Thank you so much!

The room was a bit small and at night some slugs could be found in the bathroom, however it is expected with a hut style lodging.
