The hotel is located in the south of the island, a good starting point for the islands. It has a very nice, good-looking swimming pool, grade 10. The rooms are large, we had a room with 3 beds for children and parents. They have rooms on the ground floor, from which you can go directly to your own pool. Fresh, delicious breakfast with European but also Thai specific influences.

The staff leaves much to be desired, at least in attitude. At first he smiles nicely for a second, but after that he treats you with indifference. It seems that he is always trying to cheat some prices, and if you are not careful you pay more. They are not fair on the prices. For example, before arriving at the hotel, I requested a transfer, and they told me it would cost me 1700 Bth. After arriving at the hotel, I saw on the board that the price for the transfer was actually 1000 Bth. All in all, if you get over these, it is a very nice location for a family with children.

The resort is beautifully designed around a fabulous central pool within a lush tropical garden setting. Rooms were very comfortable, spacious and clean . A very nice ambiance. Staff were very friendly.

The breakfast on offer wasn’t very good. All the standard stuff, however underwhelming and coffee was terrible. Lack of quality Thai options was disappointing considering where you are!

Breakfast was nice and our swim out room was lovely

The fact there was not enough lounge chairs and that in the morning people would put a towel on the chair or bag and disappear, to come back hours later. That should be stopped if you are not using the lounges you cannot claim them with a towel. It’s unfair to people who wish to use them and also the hotel needs to add more chairs

The hotel has a great location, the staff was very friendly and the pool area was amazing. The design is a little dated, yet I felt it gave the hotel some charm. The bath in the room was great, really enjoyed it in a rainy day. The breakfast was good, not a lot of vegetarian options (but it's the same in old the hotel we stayed in Thailand). The hotel offers free transfer to nai harn beach, which is amazing.

While the hotel was overall clean, some areas could use a deep cleaning (like the ornaments in the bedroom)

Spacious room and pools

Breakfast variety is limited and there is no sign for housekeeping service. If I don't want housekeeper to clean my room, I have to call reception. It's inconvenient sometimes.

The pool and complex were lovely. It was very quiet due to the time of year we visited which was perfect for us. The location in a fishing village was fabulous. The courtesy bus to the nearest swimming beach was an real bonus.

Staff were a little inexperienced in making cocktails.

- the hotel’s decoration - the location - the breakfast (lot of choice) - the staff was really nice

- the room was relatively clean however for a 4 stars hotel I would expect it to be exceptionally clean. for example one of my towel had black stains (seemed to be mascara). - the gym equipment needs to be replaced. it’s very old there was rust on the equipment. there isn’t a lot of equipment (7 machines + dumbbells) and there was 3 machines that weren’t working.

It was fantastic tho there were some stains on the linen and towels they were still clean and apart from an attempt at some banter from one staff member everything else was excellent. We would love to return one day in the near future. Thank you Rawai Palm Beach Resort for being a part of out vacation.

As mentioned previously

Location is great, buffet breakfast great, pool and swim up bar great even for the kids, staff are all lovely.

Our initial room was a bit musky so we spoke to reception and they moved us to another room with no problems 👍

Had the “pool acces” room. So on the ground floor. Nice big room with high ceiling. Big bath and a great shower with good water pressure. Good breakfast and nice staff.

I’m 1.91m. And sitting on the toilet means having my knees stuck against the wall. (The room between toilet and wall is just a little bit to small). Further cleaning could be a little bit better. Was above average, but still some improvement possible. Further the front door of the room isn’t the best in sound proving. So if you have people making noice in the morning screaming in the hallway. It might wake you up. Our room was straight in front of the elevator.. so sadly some small children wheren’t happy waiting on the elevator and made that vocally clear.
