Stayed with family members here for only one night to travel with the ferry to Koh Chang the next morning. The accommodation was super clean and is located near the mangrove, which is beautiful. The owner is super nice and she even gave us tips for dinner spots in the evening. You can ask for breakfast in the morning and pay a small fee. Would definitely recommend this accommodation if you want to explore Trat area or if you are passing through on the way to the islands.

Nothing wrong with the accommodation, but please keep in mind that you sleep next to the mangroves, so take your mosquito spray with you

The place indeed feels like home. It's dead quiet and you can hear all the birds and nature around, a few good food options within 15-20 minutes walk. Owner arranged us a pick up from Trat airport and it was a perfect stay before the morning ferry to Koh Mak. We stayed at the concrete villa because I was a bit afraid of the mosquitos in the wooden one, but I don't think it's the problem. The whole area seems to be pretty mosquito free. AC was a bit loud, but worked well and the room was clean.

Synthetic sheets might be not for everyone especially hot sleepers, that part I didn't enjoy. Also the bed was quite firm but it depends on personal preference.

We arrived here late at night after a very long drive from Rayong through the lashing rain. We arrived to a very warm welcome and were shown straight to our room to relax after the drive. Rooms were spotless clean and comfortable. The next next we got lots of information about the ferries to koh Chang and were on our way with a smile! Definitely recommend to anyone coming this way

We were there for one night so didn't get to relax as much as we would have liked as the lobby area is very nice and has a nice pond with plenty of fish to relax by! So really not spending more time there is the only thing we didn't like!

Nice place to stay before taking the ferry, out of the city. The bungalows are right above the mangrove. The staff is lovely and very friendly. They gave me their bike to go to eat to town. And the next day they drove me to the pier. Everything was done to make my stay good and easy.

Unfortunately when I was there, there was a live band not far playing music loud till 2 am. And they started again at 4 am. Don't know if it's everyday.

I missed my ferry to the island and had to book a stay close by. Luckily, I chose Suchanaree@Laenngop. When I arrived, the staff was already waiting for me and they showed me the room immediately. It was late and I was tired, they were very nice and asked me if I was hungry. They ordered food for me and sent me off to the ferry the next day. I only saw the beautiful surroundings the next morning. It was a very comfortable and beautiful room. It had everything needed and was clean. But I think the kind staff made it extra special to me.

We just loved the feel and vibe that Oom and her team have created, it’s such a wonderful place to come into from Bangkok and prepare for the boat/ferry to Koh Chang or Kok Mak. The help and genuine warmth around organising everything from a car Bangkok/Laemngop, the ferry, the staying open as our flight was delayed, helping across everything was amazing. Waking up to the peace and only being 5 min taxi to Laemngop Pier was so easy. We would give 15/10 if we could!!

Room is clean and cozy. Everything work well. We were made known that WiFi is only available at the reception area. Resort is peaceful and quiet, surrounded by greenery, and near to a mangrove. Car can be parked right in front of the house. Enjoyed the stroll to the Black Beach, able to see a nice sunset. You can order drinks and some simple breakfast at a price. Just a very short drive out of the resort where you can find some restaurants, cafes, small supermarket, plus a convenience store located near the jetty. Host is very friendly and speaks good English, enjoyed chatting with her. Close proximity to Ao Thammachat Pier.

Would be good to have a small bedside table. Thought we would be staying in one of those wooden houses, didn't know that another type of room exist, it wasn't shown in the property's photos.

Oom is the perfect host. The huts are clean and comfortable and the manager tries to fulfill you every wish you could have. She even did get her mother to take us to a restaurant on our first evening! And she personally took us to Trat city and to the pier. Staying here really feels like home... You will never want to leave. PS: Besides the good quality of the accommodation you should know that it is a little off the beaten path. Nice and quiet but only a few minutes walk to restaurants and the black sand beach! Amazing mangrove forest you need to see. :-)

Ideal if you are getting the boat to Koh Chang or Koh Mak in the morning, cheap and cheerful, convenient, clean, safe and very quiet.

Nothing really, basic accommodation but the price reflects this, the air con was a bit noisy but it didn’t keep me up. You can’t walk to the shops from there also it must be noted.

I loved staying here. My hostess was fantastic. Very kind, extremely helpful. I would recommend hiring a motorcycle and exploring the area. Within 25 minutes, there is a lot to see. I stayed for two nights but could easily have stayed for longer. If I come back to Trat, I will stay here again.
