Most humble staff I have ever seen in my life. You call for anything and they try their best to do it with a SMILE on their faces. I don't remember the names but both morning and evening shift receptionist were wonderful. They helped us for everything possible especially the morning shift lady. She was super generous, even the facility manager was superb. They arrive to the room with a single call and help you with the same SMILE. This hotel stay made my trip. I would love to stay their again. Also, it's in center of Goreme, you can get beautiful views from the terrace and all the balloons are visible from the hotel terrace itself. The hotel lobby and restaurant had heaters so you can not feel outside cold at all. You can easily get taxis from outside and it was very near to the outside market. I can go on and on. This property is definitely recommended.

Everything was just perfect.

I wish I could rate more than 5 star. The reason for me saying that is, to start with, the welcome was very warm with the welcome tea and we were also allowed 4 hrs early check-in (we did give the heads up to hotel before our arrival). The staff is very friendly and taking of very small/big needs throughout the stay. We were discussing with them about our restrictions for balloon ride due to 3yr old. The manager instantly resolved it by arranging a babysitter and helped us do the balloon ride together. He also save the day by arranging an adhoc vehicle/driver for us to spend 4 quality hours exploring the nearby areas. Final day, when we were about to depart, we were running late to catch the flight. His amazing gesture when he and his team rushed to pack breakfast, arrange a cab and see us off with the take away apple tea really won our heart. It felt like our family was seeing us off with packed meal, tea and good wishes. Cappadocia is a great place to visit. In addition such an amazing and heart felt gesture made this trip one of the most memorable trip of my life! Can not recommend enough #cratus hotel and it’s staff 😊

balloon view is not great

Lovely view of the city where we ate breakfast on the terrace. Breakfast was served on a plate with a large selection, in addition we were given a choice of eggs, coffee and freshly squeezed juice. The manager, Ramazan, went above and beyond our expectations. We were unlucky enough to get a crack on our front windshield while on our trip to Göreme. He followed us around to get this fixed. All praise to him. We have never experienced better service at a hotel. We had a great time. Lovely room, great staff.

The jacuzzi on the terrace was a bit pricy; 100 euros for breakfast there in the morning (per person). No water in the jacuzzi the whole time we were there. No one used it, probably because it was too expensive. We would have used it if it was a slightly better price.

Everything was just better than I expected. The communication from UK was quick and very informative. They even helped me arrange shuttle service from airport to the hotel, I even was allowed to pay for the shuttle service at the hotel once I arrived. They organised all our activities for us including shuttle service and it was same price as if you was going to book it via trip advisor with any other companies directly. The hotel was beautiful, made with stone but had cave vibes. I intentionally booked a stone hotel because a real cave hotel doesn't have windows in the rooms some may have windows but very small, and it's really claustrophobic in cave hotels very humid and as an asthmatic I didn't want to book a cave hotel. Also read lots of reviews that in cave hotels you have tuff falling off from the ceiling so it falls on the bed, in your luggage etc As for food the food in the restaurant is amazing, the view from the restaurant is beautiful especially in the morning when the balloons go up, the view at night is just as beautiful if not even more beautiful. The breakfast is included when booking the hotel, the breakfast is honestly the best breakfast I've ever had and that isn't an exaggeration, the dinner and lunch you have to pay for but it is so worth it. The dinner won't disappoint, as the restaurant is open to public and is very popular it does get booked out quiet quickly so it's best to try book by lunch time for dinner or you can take your chance and walk in for dinner. You also get 10% off each time you dine at the restaurant as your staying at the hotel. Kemal from the restaurant was amazing always smiling, very nice, gave us food as we requested to how we wanted. Murat, yasar and bouse was very lovely helpful and treated us like family, we had a good laugh and they made us feel at home. It doesn't even feel like a hotel you feel like your at home which was nice.

Extremely happy with the services and hospitality by the entire crew of Cratus. It was out of the world Everything was clean and tidy. Room service didn't take more than 5 minutes, be it for anything. I will recommend my family and friends anyday to stay here. Pros - It's at the center of Goreme, everything is easily accessible. Hotel booked tours and airport transfer for us, we didn't do anything. Everything was taken care by the reception and all we had to do was relax and enjoy our holiday. Thank you Cratus for making our stay at Goreme a memorable one!

Everything. I went their with no plan. However, Murad in the reception was soo kind and helpful where he has planned my activities for the whole stay. plus, Ramazan who is the director was super nice and he as well organised multiple events for me. Breakfast is superb. Sinan and Onur were serving us in the restaurant. special thanks for their exceptional service. The room is super fancy and super clean. Thank you to the cleaners. The hotel in a perfect location surrounded by everything in short distance. Overall, I would stay again in this hotel whenever I visit cappadocia agin.

The place is amazing. We are so thankful and happy that we chose this hotel. They made our trip unforgettable. All staff is very friendly, kind and helpful. helped us to plan everything and sole all the problems: balloon flight, horse riding, reservations at the restaurants and taxi when we needed it. We appreciate it all so much! The hotel has this wonderful energy and you just don’t want to leave. The room is big enough for two people and very comfortable and beautiful. Bed and pillows is like a cloud, very comfortable so you can have a good rest. Amazing that they have a lounge zone right near the standard room and it’s open air. Bathroom is big and clean. Girls, you don’t have to take shampoo and conditioner with you, because toiletries the hotel provide have the best quality. I would buy if I could😂 Breakfast is so delicious and so colourful. The best omelet I ever tried. Bread, few kinds of jam, meat, cheese, vegetables and fruits and so on. And the view! OH MY GOD! The rooftop of the hotel has very beautiful view on balloons and Goreme and Uhchisar city. So if you want your best trip ever, you should book this hotel. Saying that from my heart ♥️

Only that we had to leave so soon😔 But we are definitely coming back and we already know which hotel we will stay at. Only Cratus Stone Palace!

Great place. We had an excelent room with a lot of space and a balcony where you can see the globes at sunrise. The guys at the restaurant were always smiling and interacting with our kids. They even let us use the room for a late check out so that our little one could sleep before our flight as it was late at night. Thank you so much for understanding our needs and for your outstanding attention. Highly recommended place to stay in this beautifull magic town.

We stayed in the Junior Suite which was roomy and comfortable. The restaurant at the hotel is one of the best rated in Goreme for very good reason. The service was amazing and the food very good quality. The staff and very friendly and accommodating.

For the price of the hotel the quality of the towels are really poor. I would highly recommend that the owners invested in thicker, better quality towels. A small point I know but it really makes a difference!

We were very satisfied. Breakfast fantastic, staff excellent. Murad at the reception extremely helpful and very accommodating. According to us, the hotel has the best restaurant in the town. Nice view from the terrace of the restaurant. I definitely recommend this hotel. We were two adults and a 12 years old daughter. The only thing is be careful for the right time for a balloon flight. The most suitable are June, July and August. We were in early May and only one day a week was suitable for a balloon flight. Flights have been canceled in recent days. It was either windy or raining.

The only what I missed was a small storage place for clothes.
