This brand new hotel was excellent and exceeded all expectations. The facility was clean, comfortable, and the location was just perfect. There's a terrace decorated with Turkish rugs and pillows and had the best overlook of the hot air balloons in the morning, you don't even need to go to one of those popular cafes! We watched the balloons rise every morning from the terrace. Best of all, the owner Tolga and his staff was extremely accommodating and goes above and beyond to make sure you will have the best stay.

The place was in great shape. Nice aestetics, clean, decent rooms. The staff was great esspeccially the owner, we got free drinks and on few occasions free meals. We had a bad taxi experience and to compensate we got a room upgrade. We booked all our tours through the hotel with discounts on the price and great value for it.

The stairs are too tall you might trip, carefull on that one. Also the toilets are too tall for comfortable seating. The hotel offers a taxi service but DONT book because we had a terrible experience with it. The driver was speeding all the time, going between 120 and 150 kmph and almost hit two cars. In the end he hit a dog and hit the breaks causing us to fly in the back of the van and to recieve small injuries. He didnt even stop to ask if we are OK. Also they are more expensive, an airport cab can take you to goreme for 30 to 40 euro and the taxi we used was 65. The hotel has no connection to the taxi its booked through a third party so this isnt their fault, the hotel and staff were great.

Staff were very efficient and helpful. Room was spacious and clean, as per the pictures. The hotel is close to all the restaurants and ATM's. About a 5 min walk you will find Elis Hamam and a small liquor store. A decent bottle of red wine cost about 245TRY, which was a great find considering a glass of wine in a restaurant can cost +-150TRY. The terrace had a decent view point, however there were no pillows set up for that iconic balloon picture. Staff said this was due to the inconsistent weather conditions. There are also no elevators, however the staff were kind enough to assist in carrying my luggage to my room. There are also ground floor rooms which one can request before arrival. At breakfast you can also order an omelette at no extra charge. Airport transfers can be arrange through the hotel; costs 12-15 Euro ,depending on which airport you're flying in/out from.

Wifi was very spotty. Reception tried their best to fix when it went down; however something to keep in mind when in this region if you need stable access to the internet.

Firstly, I would like to thank everybody at Virtus Cappadocia Hotel for being very helpful, and very kind and for making our stay very comfortable and pleasant. The hotel is in Göreme and at a great location where you can reach everything you need. It is on high ground and has a terrace which gives you a great opportunity to enjoy the view with hot air balloons in the morning with sunset. The breakfast is also at the terrace where you can enjoy a very good Turkish breakfast. Sometimes the staff comes to you and asks you if you need them to prepare something else such as an omelet. The center of the city is right where the hotel is so you can reach other restaurants, cafes, and small shops and even the bus stop is right there which you can travel to the center of Nevsehir, Uchisar, etc. Everywhere. Therefore, dont be sad thinking that it won't be easy to see the other parts of the city. You only need to be careful about the schedule of these buses. Among everywhere, Göreme is the place you should stay and then visit the other parts. The hotel rooms are very comfortable. We stayed there for a week to have a very relaxing vacation and see everything slowly. The staff is the most helpful and nicest staff I have ever seen. They are friendly, you feel like you have known them for a long time. If any problem occurs, they will help you. The terrace was my favorite. You can go there in the evening and have these traditional corners with pillows you see in the pictures only to yourself. We were there in August, hence it was too hot for us to be able to go outside during the day. So we stayed in our rooms with air-conditioned till around 5 pm. There are great attractions around only within walking distance. One thing also you should know is that the hotel can arrange transportation to the hotel and from the hotel to anywhere, which we didn't know. They also organize tours for you if you ask. The hotel is super clean, the breakfast was amazing, and every day there's a new variety of things that you can choose to eat from. The terrace is amazing to watch the hot air balloons but you need to wake up early. The staff and owners were AMAZING! 1. We had a lot of luggage and they don't have an elevator so they upgraded us to another room on the ground floor so that we don't have to carry all of them on the stairs. 2. They gave us a great package for all the tours we wanted to do and we really enjoyed every single one, they had all the transportation set for us and we didn't worry about a thing. 3. We had a bad incident with the car rental company we rented our car from, where they decided to end our contract 2 days earlier and contacted the hotel saying if we don't get the car back they'll tow the car, Mrs. Nabiha asked them not to disturb us and that once we're back from our day trip she'll have us call him. I explained the situation to her and she called them and set them straight, she really helped us not to pay for the company's mistake. 4. We stayed there for 4 days one of the best parts of the day is when we sat in the front garden of the hotel with the staff or owners and talked, they're so friendly and so funny we would spend at least an hour chitchatting with them every day they're incredible and make you feel so welcomed.

Highly recommend this hotel if you’re considering staying in Cappadocia. The hotel is not in a cave, but the location gives you a great view of the cave hotels, and there is a place on the rooftop to watch the hot air balloons. The hotel is located near a market, shops and restaurants. Bedrooms and facilities were clean and the photos reflect how the rooms are. The breakfast is amazing! The hotel night attendant was very friendly and attentive.

Wifi wasn’t too great, but we had our own local SIM cards anyway. The room did not have a fridge so we couldn’t have cold water.

We stayed at the hotel for 4 days. It was a real pleasure. The hotel is located in the very center of the city but not on the main street so it is quiet. The hotel is new, the equipment is not damaged, the cleanliness is at the highest level, the service is very nice and helpful. Family room large and comfortable. Very efficient air conditioning. Tasty breakfasts served on the terrace with a wonderful view of Goreme. The upper terrace in the morning is the best place to watch the balloons that fly over your head and the whole panorama.

The breakfast was absolutely delicious not to mention all inclusive and homemade. Our room was cute and clean. The best thing about this hotel by far was the staff. The family that owns this hotel did everything they could to be sure we had the best possible experience. For our flight home we ordered a taxi in advance that did not arrive, after 40 minutes of no taxi arriving the family offered to take us to the airport so we didn’t miss our flight. It was because of them that we were able to make it on time with minutes to spare. I highly recommend this hotel you will be in good hands.

This hotel is located in a place with one of the best views of the town and the valley. The view from the terrace is amazing. The staff are very friendly and hospitable. The rooms are clean. This is a new hotel. I wish them all the best for the coming years.

This is just a suggestion. Our room had shelves to keep our stuff. Having a small cabinet with drawers would have helped. While travelling, we carry things like documents, medicines, chargers etc. which are easier to store in drawers.
