This brand new hotel was excellent and exceeded all expectations. The facility was clean, comfortable, and the location was just perfect. There's a terrace decorated with Turkish rugs and pillows and had the best overlook of the hot air balloons in the morning, you don't even need to go to one of those popular cafes! We watched the balloons rise every morning from the terrace. Best of all, the owner Tolga and his staff was extremely accommodating and goes above and beyond to make sure you will have the best stay.

I spent my birthday with a first time solo travelling abroad and I thought it would be sad but it was awesome!! my stay here was definitely a big factor!!! Thank you virtus! The ROOF TOP IS AMAZING! I love the vibes in the rooftop more so at night! I love the vibes when youre having a breakfast there! It was midsummer and warm but i love the breeze on rooftop! I would like to commend, Ali, the night receptionist! He’s went beyond and over for me seeing as Im a solo traveler. I had a creep situation with a taxi driver and he assured my safety. He was also very helpful with recommendations and activities, quite fluent with english (a plus+++). We became friends to the point he even knocked on my door to make sure I get breakfast and don’t oversleep when he was on the way to breakfast as well. The breakfast ladies were also nice and superb! I was not expecting much from the room but It felt fancy! It had all the facilities one would need! I love the vibe of the room and shower. I had a nice view of the mountains in the window. They gave kits and water every day and cleaned my room. I love how wide their breakfast buffet is (even had non turkish food choices).

Nothing really aside from one case that the cleaning lady banged on my door to ask if I wanted cleaning, i woke up from my sleep but seeing as there are placards you could place outside if you wanted cleaning so i dare say it was not really necessary to do it, but I voiced out my concern to Ali and made note of it and apologised so it’s fine.

By far one of the best accomodation I stayed in. It felt like a little boutique hotel with not many rooms. The facilities were great, it exceeded our expectations. We had the room with the balcony where we could see the hot air balloons in the morning. But they also have a rooftop where one can watch the balloons. But the best aspect above all was the staff, Tholga, Ali and the rest of the staff were great, they took such good care of us during our stay. They organised our hot air balloon experience and also our green tour at a more competitive price that we seen on several websites. I could not recommend Virtus Hotel Cappadocia enough.

We had an exceptional stay at our hotel in Cappadocia this May. The staff was amazing—humble, friendly, and always ready to help. The room was spacious, clean, and prepared before our check-in, complete with fresh towels and toiletries. Breakfast was a delight, served for free on the rooftop with a beautiful and spectacular view. The hotel’s location was perfect for tourists, with restaurants and attractions within walking distance. A highlight of our stay was the stunning morning view of hot air balloons from both our room window and the rooftop. Highly recommended for a memorable stay in Cappadocia!

Our stay at virtus cappadocia was excellent. Although our room was kinda small, it was perfect for two people and very clean. The location is great, right in the heart of Goreme and walking distance from everything. The staff was also great, always eager to answer all of our questions,help us arrange transfers and in general help us with everything we needed. I also felt 100% safe, which was a concern of mine since I had never visited Cappadocia before. Very value for money, totally recommend!

The place was in great shape. Nice aestetics, clean, decent rooms. The staff was great esspeccially the owner, we got free drinks and on few occasions free meals. We had a bad taxi experience and to compensate we got a room upgrade. We booked all our tours through the hotel with discounts on the price and great value for it.

The stairs are too tall you might trip, carefull on that one. Also the toilets are too tall for comfortable seating. The hotel offers a taxi service but DONT book because we had a terrible experience with it. The driver was speeding all the time, going between 120 and 150 kmph and almost hit two cars. In the end he hit a dog and hit the breaks causing us to fly in the back of the van and to recieve small injuries. He didnt even stop to ask if we are OK. Also they are more expensive, an airport cab can take you to goreme for 30 to 40 euro and the taxi we used was 65. The hotel has no connection to the taxi its booked through a third party so this isnt their fault, the hotel and staff were great.

Firstly, I would like to thank everybody at Virtus Cappadocia Hotel for being very helpful, and very kind and for making our stay very comfortable and pleasant. The hotel is in Göreme and at a great location where you can reach everything you need. It is on high ground and has a terrace which gives you a great opportunity to enjoy the view with hot air balloons in the morning with sunset. The breakfast is also at the terrace where you can enjoy a very good Turkish breakfast. Sometimes the staff comes to you and asks you if you need them to prepare something else such as an omelet. The center of the city is right where the hotel is so you can reach other restaurants, cafes, and small shops and even the bus stop is right there which you can travel to the center of Nevsehir, Uchisar, etc. Everywhere. Therefore, dont be sad thinking that it won't be easy to see the other parts of the city. You only need to be careful about the schedule of these buses. Among everywhere, Göreme is the place you should stay and then visit the other parts. The hotel rooms are very comfortable. We stayed there for a week to have a very relaxing vacation and see everything slowly. The staff is the most helpful and nicest staff I have ever seen. They are friendly, you feel like you have known them for a long time. If any problem occurs, they will help you. The terrace was my favorite. You can go there in the evening and have these traditional corners with pillows you see in the pictures only to yourself. We were there in August, hence it was too hot for us to be able to go outside during the day. So we stayed in our rooms with air-conditioned till around 5 pm. There are great attractions around only within walking distance. One thing also you should know is that the hotel can arrange transportation to the hotel and from the hotel to anywhere, which we didn't know. They also organize tours for you if you ask. I added a few pictures I took from the terrace of the hotel.

Staff were very efficient and helpful. Room was spacious and clean, as per the pictures. The hotel is close to all the restaurants and ATM's. About a 5 min walk you will find Elis Hamam and a small liquor store. A decent bottle of red wine cost about 245TRY, which was a great find considering a glass of wine in a restaurant can cost +-150TRY. The terrace had a decent view point, however there were no pillows set up for that iconic balloon picture. Staff said this was due to the inconsistent weather conditions. There are also no elevators, however the staff were kind enough to assist in carrying my luggage to my room. There are also ground floor rooms which one can request before arrival. At breakfast you can also order an omelette at no extra charge. Airport transfers can be arrange through the hotel; costs 12-15 Euro ,depending on which airport you're flying in/out from.

Wifi was very spotty. Reception tried their best to fix when it went down; however something to keep in mind when in this region if you need stable access to the internet.

The room looks a bit better than photos. It was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is located in the center of Goreme. Restaurants and other cantral spots are available nearby. One of the biggest advantages of the location is that hot air baloons can be seen from the balcony and from the roof terrace where breakfast is served. Personnel helped with the luggage. They can help to book almost any of the main attractions in Cappadocia with the hotel pick up.

Everything was so perfect! The hotel is close to the center of Göreme, the rooms are wonderful (they even upgraded my room), clean and comfy and all the people working for the structure are extremely kind, generous and friendly! The breakfast is very tasty and you can watch the panorama over Göreme (balloons included if they are flying) from the terrace! My holiday was unforgettable and all the people at Virtus made it even more memorable! Thank you so much!
