Everything except internet. The apartments at 3rd floor (superior apartment) and the 4th floor (apartment with seaview) are just amazing. They are clean, comfortable and come with proper facilities, and the view over the sea, shore house line, and the nearby church is just picturesque. The staff were quite friendly too. The neighborhood is also full of friendly residents and stores. The best pide place in Istanbul (Yoremiz) is just 3 minutes away on foot. Of course no elevator was an issue, especially with luggage and/or for older people but no complaint there as this was clear from the description and also this is the price to pay when residing in this lovely neighborhood. Would have loved to give it a 10 if it were not for the internet!!

Internet is easily one of the (if not the) worst among all places I've visited in the past two decades of travelling! Two days of absolutely no internet and 2-3 days of extremely slow (nearly unsuable) internet. And this is out of a 8 day stay. So, if you have work to do, do NOT rely on the internet. I could get by with a 20G Turkish simcard that I bought in Istanbul. And of course I did complain multiple times and they were responsive but they did not fix it whatsoever.

We stayed in the apartment with my family and enjoyed our stay a lot. The location is perfect: five minutes walk from Galata tower and Istiklal. The apartment is quite cozy and has everything you need to cook a meal or have a coffee. We picked the basic room (without terrace), but we still had a very nice area near the window where we could eat breakfast. The hosts were very caring and nice. I highly recommend this place.

Beautiful space, with a lovely terrace, well decorated living space, and a more than adequate bathroom and kitchen. The apartment is extremely well located and the top floor gives a lot of privacy. It’s a beautiful space to wake up and have breakfast in. The management was very kind to help us also with our luggage upon requests made in advance. They also supported us with another couple of requests.

The mattress and bedding are worn out and not very comfortable. Changing these would make this place absolutely perfect. Also we didn’t mind, but it’s a four floor walk up like many buildings in the area.

We had a very nice stay at this apartment. The view is amazing! We didn't really cook so we cannot comment on the kitchen. But the apartment was comfortable, quiet and well appointed.

We did have a problem with the washing machine. It had a sharp piece in the drum and it ruined my wife's robe and nightgown. We let the owner know, so we are sure he will fix it. Also, you should be aware that this apartment is up 2 very steep flights of stairs and on a very steep hill, but the location is very good.

Everything was very well organized and clean. Hot shower. We had a really good stay. Location is wonderful! Close to Galata tower. We rented a car and there’s 2 parking lots close by. Metro station close. Great restaurants on the surroundings.

One thing that was a challenge in my stay was the stairs. We were on the third floor with large luggage. That was hard.

Excellent communication and support from owners with specific mention. Of WhatsApp and speedy help with questions. Excellent location if you sre fine with hills. Very spacious and well appointed. Lots of shelves and places to put things. Good washing machine. Shutters good for light and sound.

A great place. Mattress could be better… a bit uneven.

too noisy street

Fully equipped apartament in a beautiful old building, with killer view. We liked the Galata neighborhood very much, the more we visited other parts of Istanbul, the more we were convinced we were staying in the best place.

Walls thin, no soundproofing. Not a noisy place though, it didn't matter much. No shampoo in the shower, our bags were lost so it was an issue, otherwise no problems.

the apartment has a homey feeling, a mixed of different styles that work well together giving the place personality. the location was top, with many shops and restaurants although in a quite street

One of the best accommodations we’ve ever stayed at (and we’ve traveled enough). Perfect location: it’s 2 minutes’ walk from the Galata tower, Istiklal street etc., but on a very quiet street. Our room was on the top floor with a terrace that features a sofa, a coffee table, a soft hanging chair and a table with cheers. The view on the Bosporus is mesmerizing. The apartment is very thought-out, with everything you may need during your stay (water, coffee, toilet paper, soap etc.). It is very clean, as well as the whole building. Hot water, heating, kitchen utensils, washing machine and laundry detergent are all there. There is also an electric fireplace which makes you feel cozy in the evenings. The design is very authentic with a great attention to detail. You can really feel the Istanbul atmosphere here. Smooth contactless check-in allows you to enter at any time. Please be aware that if you book a top floor apartment, you will need to climb a narrow staircase. It wasn’t a problem for us, though. We were very happy with our stay and definitely recommend Ali Pasha Apartments to anyone! Thank you so much for your work that makes this place so comfortable.
