The room was extremely clean and well-cleaned during our stay; really the entire building was very clean, and it was inviting and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent (a mixture of Turkish and continental breakfast), with plenty of variety. The people were so kind and welcoming in every capacity (cleaning, breakfast, front desk), I was completely won over. It is a short and pleasant walk from the Blue Mosque, etc.

The bathroom was on the small side (although the shower was spacious), and the bed was rather firm, but still comfortable for me. These are not real negatives--I just think one should know what one is getting. It was good value in my experience.

Great property in a perfect location to explore the whole of Istanbul. A relatively quiet street but right next to everything you would want to see. Splendid view from the rooftop. A very warm room was clean and well maintained, with guidebooks, toiletries, slippers, safe box, fridge, electric kettle, tea and coffee. Towels were changed on the second day, linens - on the third. The owner is very helpful and speaks Russian fluently. In January a delicious breakfast was served in the next door hotel.

Quiet thin walls and sometimes you can hear every single word from your neighbours. There could be some bottles of water in the room.

We stayed for a couple of days and it was a pleasure. The breakfast was very tasty, the room is cleaned every day. The stuff is very friendly and nice, especially Enes, the receptionist was very helpfull and kind. The hotel is situated in very good point of the area, where you cand find a couple of the main attractions like The Blue Mosque, Grand Bazar, etc...but also is very easy to use public transport to get to other touristic places. *Be careful when you cross the road beacuse there is a mess on the roads which might be a little confusing for a tourist but overall it was a great experience. Deffinetely will come back.

I recently returned from Istanbul, where I stayed at the Cape Palace Hotel. It was an unforgettable experience, and I want to share it with you. The Cape Palace Hotel is a clean, comfortable place with an excellent location. The breakfast is delicious and varied, and the staff is friendly and always ready to help. I would like to express my special thanks to Dovlet, a receptionist at the hotel. He always greeted me with a smile, helped me with any problems, and gave me valuable advice on what to see and do in Istanbul. Dovlet is a true professional, and he made my stay at the hotel even more enjoyable. I highly recommend the Cape Palace Hotel to anyone planning a trip to Istanbul. Be sure to ask for Dovlet - he will make your stay unforgettable!

Absolutely perfect hotel for staying in Istanbul. It's very close to main landmarks, located just 10 mins walking from Sultanahmed square and tram station. There are lots of small shops, caffes and restaurants around. The hotel is very clean, room itself is very comfortable, has all necessary things in it. It was cleaned for us every day during our stay. Breakfast was rich, fresh and extremely tasty, offering varieties of food. Special thanks for the stuff of the hotel! They are all extremely helpful, gave valuable advices and tips to make our stay in Istanbul even more comfortavble, took care of our luggage and helped with taxi. Any request we had was fulfilled. I very liked the hotel: it is very clean, located in quiet but central place. People here are very polite, wonderful European service. Special thanks to Enes, he is very helpful! I got the room even better than I booked. It was super clean, warm, calm at night. It was great to wake up early and go seeing beautiful historical places without crouds , that are just in 5 minutes from the hotel. I also loved the terrace at the roof, such a lovely view! Breakfast is good, the food is tasty and there is a choice every day.

Nothing really

We stayed at Cape Palace for 2 nights. Location is right in the centre of Istanbul. Just a 10 minutes walk to the major attractions. Lots of eateries around the hotel. Our receptionist was so supportive and he guided us with Istanbul map and all the key attractions around, where should we opt for public transport and how much a taxi would cost. He even informed us about where to shop and where not as touristy places were expensive. He wrote down some fantastic restaurant options for us which had authentic Turkish food at absolutely affordable rates. He gave us a sea view room as there was an available option even though we didn’t book one. This was such a kind gesture from them. Rooms were clean, water, coffee replenished. The receptionist during the night (Dovlet) was so cheerful and warm to welcome us after a long day, he booked us an early morning airport taxi for our return too at an affordable rate. Surprisingly, he took us to the terrace of the hotel which had a clear Panaromic view of Istanbul, the sea, the blue mosque - Thank you Dovlet for the wonderful surprise.

Breakfast options were too too limited. It would have been better to have some warm/hot food options.

I liked the breakfast options it was perfect for me and my cousin. Dovlet was helpful and friendly, he made sure we were comfortable. Great guy! Deserves a raise! The room was clean, nice, and in a very good location, we felt safe, and many sights were within walking distance. The street was a dead-end street so there was not too much noise. Overall, we had a great stay,

I found the bed way too hard, was like laying on concrete, it would have been nice if the hotel could offer some mattress toppers that would make the bed more comfortable. Very hard beds may work for some but I woke up with back pain after each night. Other than that there were some small mishaps, the TV cable didn't work the first two days, and the toilet top lid couldn't stay up but that was minor.

I want to express my sincere appreciation for the excellent service provided by Mr. Dovlet during my stay at Cape Palace Hotel. He was incredibly polite, helpful with a friendly smile created a welcoming atmosphere. Our room with the sea view was beautiful and lived up to the photos on booking.com, and the hotel's convenient location, within walking distance to Hagia Sophia and other iconic landmarks, made exploring the area effortless. The proximity to local restaurants and the Bosphorus boat tour terminal added to the overall convenience of the stay.

The rooftop offers a wonderful view of Hagia Sophia and sea view; however, during my stay, there was ongoing renovation work. It would be truly awesome to have the opportunity to chill on the rooftop and fully enjoy the city view once the renovation is complete
