Everything was great, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Galata Times Hotel !!

The breakfast was good, and the staff were great also. The only complaint is that when going to breakfast, we went just before closing and the restaurant was packed with people. 5 mins prior to closing while we were still eating, the waiter started feeding the seagulls the breakfast food, without first allowing the people there to finish if they wanted more to eat. Loved watching the seagulls on the roof, but would also have liked a bit more to eat!

The rooms are very small, and the rooms with a terrace, it is good to know that they face a very small inner courtyard, there is almost no light.

Everything perfect . Beautiful modern room well thought out with amazing view . Very clean . The best location for getting around istanbul by walking . Very easy to walk across bridge to grand bazar and a nice walk along the bosphorous to galata port and just up the road to loads of shops and cafes and restaurants. Lovely staff and and a roof top restaurant with an amazing view for a lovely breakfast and dinner in the evening . Look out for the 2 friendly seagulls that knock on the window for their breakfast every morning

Firstly, let me thank Zivad a million times over. She welcomed us with a bright smile and made our stay very comfortable. All staff are very friendly and attentive. The location was so perfect. Metro station is literally opposite the hotel. Very easy to use and recommend highly because of traffic. This might sound a bit weird but the shower as well as the bed in the hotel are 11/10. Amazing experience. There’s this lovely fragrance lingering in the hotel that I couldn’t get enough of. I think this hotel will be the hotel we will be staying each time we come to Istanbul.

A wonderful hotel in every way. We were greeted with a free room upgrade and nothing but praise. The room is clean and very beautiful, the breakfast extremely good and varied, and the location...close to everything. Istkal at 5 min...galata tower at 2 min, above-ground or underground parking at 2 min. There are two parking lots at the exit of the hotel approx. 2 min (170TL/day) the hotel also offered us a 50% parking discount card, but unfortunately the parking machines didn't work (I don't know why). The metro is 2 minutes away, under the underground parking lot. The extremely kind staff, especially the lady at the reception and the gentleman who was present every day at breakfast.

Location. Room. Value. WiFi. Bathrooms. Friendly.staff. Everything is clean, smell well. I took "no view" room and it has "no view" :) I forgot İstanbul is full of "no view" rooms. But in return Ive got perfect silence.

Nothing critical. Checkout procedure: first time for the past few years my room was subjected to check (mini bar, towels, I don't know what else they checked). Maybe I am looking like a criminal.. I have never had such an experience anywhere in Turkey for many years of travelling. I hope it is just me who looks suspicious, yet able to pay 200 dollars per night.

I had looked at various hotels around the area prior to booking this hotel, and I am so glad I decided for The Galata Times Hotel. The hotel grounds are quite beautiful and sophisticated, the location could not be beat, it is within a very short distance from Istakalal Street and Galata Tower, there is metro access at the corner of the street. The rooftop is amazing, you have one of the best views in Istanbul, is breathtaking! one memorable sunset! The breakfast was amazing, a true Turkish breakfast sampler, great quality and presentation. If you are coming to Istanbul to experience the best, this hotel is IT. Look no further, there is a true thought process into every single detail that this hotel offers. The restaurant food is amazing!

Unfortunately I must also stay true to my reviews. I love Turkey and I also have come to enjoy its people, I have stayed in various hotels not only in Istanbul but in other regions. The staff is more often than not what makes any hotel stay a memorable one. The staff might need to be better trained, to be friendlier or more service oriented. They don't seem to want to go beyond and provide not only great service but genuine caring service. A little goes a long way and having the right staff could make a stay here truly amazing!

This is a great hotel. It has the best location right in the middle of all touristic sites - istiklal street, sultanahmet, bosphorus cruises, galata tower. It has a metro station right in front of its entrance. The staff is exceptional. Samet was helpful in every way possible. He made our trip very enjoyable and made everything so easy for us! He helped us book several trips, find great gifts, and even search for a sticker book for my daughter! He knows how to make clients exceptionally happy. Thank you Samet!
