Good location, clean, nice staff, comfortable

The walls are so thin, you can hear literally everything. You hear the elevator, the guests in the next room and even the sound from their phones.

the staff are super friendly, the cleaners are nice and cooperative , near to the galata port, plus the area has a lot of cafes, restaurants and small grocery stores, the breakfast was standard and very simple but high quality and I personally liked it, for others it might be very simple and the choices are limited

There’s no sound proof at all, the walls were super thin, you can easily hear the TV from room next to you , at night there’s a near Bar that turn on loud music, you can easily feel that you are inside the bar for me the hotel is 10/10 I loved it but those walls without the sound proof were a big issue to me . if you are a normal/light sleeper that’s an issue , if you are a heavy sleeper and sounds are not an issue for you, this place is excellent a ( Tip ) ask for the rooms in the 2-3 floor and near the corners, they are a bit quieter because the are away from the center and the elevator where there’s alot of noise

The hotel is at excellent location, near the Galata port. Plenty of dining options as the street is packed with restaurant and bars. Do not miss the Baklava shop 100 meters away. Clean, modern rooms, large modern TV with screen mirroring!!!. Bathroom and shower - good. Good and fast internet. Staff - will do anything for you. Breakfast is good, lot of local dishes. Ask for Turkish caffe, they will make it for you. Thank you Hotel Galata for 2 nice days!

Internet log-in is complicated, requires passport number, but that might be a govt. regulation.

Great location near restaurants, bars, sights and transport. Clean and modern with excellent pool, steam room and sauna in the basement. Good breakfast. Staff helpful and even lent their tram pass to use. Clean and comfortable room. Value for money. Recommend.

Little to fault other than extra charge for fresh juice and fresh coffee at breakfast !!

Great location. Flat part of town which is a good choice for people who don't want to deal with hills. Comfortable facilities and great price

Shower was excellent. Staff were very thoughtful. Location could not be better! Delicious buffet-style breakfast with free extras available upon request. Location walkable for almost everything we wanted to see and the tram was only a short walk away. Basement recreation was wonderful! Free-access Turkish bath area next to the pool meant we could have the experience without a stranger scrubbing us. The kids and adults stayed in swimsuits and enjoyed the experience modestly.

All pillows were large and firm. I prefer options. Walls could possibly be thinner; but it was easy to tell when our neighbors came back every evening. Elevator was sticky sometimes and the stairs were ...unusual.

The hotel itself is clean and modern, but the 1 week stay was really made amazing by the service of the staff. I would like to thank Mehmet and Cumhur for their amazing service. in the evening I went outside to sit down and they went as far as to bring cushions for the seats to ensure we were comfortable, they arranged our airport transfers, brought scales to our room to weigh suitcases and even offered us tea or coffee before our early departure. It is this level of service which you simply don’t find anymore even in 5 star hotels. we forgot one bag in our room and only realised upon arriving to the airport. we called the hotel and mehmet and cumhur arranged for a taxi to drive our bag to the airport and it arrived within 25 minutes. mehmet took my mobile number, and went to the room, he then video called us on whatsapp and and made sure everything was correct before sending it with a driver. I would like to say a big thank you, and hopefully we will return. many thanks!

It's always hard to rate an hotel, we all different views and expectations. Overall good ration price/quality and location is the best. Period. Also, swimming pool, Amazing location, modern rooms, View from the breakfast room were great.

Unfortunately, the rooms are very poorly isolated Noise-wise from within the hotel. Althogh the street is super noisy and busy, windows are OK and do a good job noise-wise. But you can hear neighbouring rooms talking. Besides, as room doors are super thin and inefficient, corridors noises adds up on top. And because room doors can only be violently slammed to be closed, you constantly hear doors being slammed outside of your room . We all have different a level of sensibility to noise, but this was a real issue for me. Really pity that the great comfort of the rooms is shadowed by the very noisy corridors .Again, other people might not care at all...

+ the hotel location is very good; public transport (tram T1, a metro station) within walking distance; there are a lot of the cafes and restaurants in the area. + really very friendly staff and ready to help. + my room was clean and warm (there is an air conditioner and it’s possible to open a window, if it’s too warm to you). + in my staying cleaning was done every day. + there were no problems with water; water pressure was very good, hot water went without any problems. The hotel and the room were the same as on the photos.

- if you like total silence, I may say there was a little noisy in the beginning of the evenings because of the local restaurants and cafes, and you may hear the hotel resident’s noise. But this is a small minus compared to the overall hotel impression. - if such things are important for you: there were some “prints” of moisture in the bathroom in my room, but they were not critical.

We loved the central position of the hotel, easy to walk and take transport from here. A bonus is that it’s very close to the sea and lovely to walk along Galataport area. Lots of shops, supermarkets, restaurants of all types around. The hotel itself is clean and modern. All the staff we encountered were kind and helpful. It does make a difference in this industry. We stayed in a seaview room on 3rd floor and found the room large enough. It was lovely to see the water and ferries. We did hear some noise from the hall, next room but not too much. Street noise was minimal. The swimming pool, spa and sauna were fun for a couple of hours. Love the starry ceiling above the pool. Lift goes to 4th floor then one flight of stairs to restaurant. Bed and linen comfortable, great hot water and shower pressure, nice toiletries, kettle and 2 water bottles daily. We paid for breakfast and this was served on their top floor with views. A good selection of items. The restaurant is open for lunch, dinner, room service etc with reasonable prices. I would be happy to stay again and recommend this hotel to anyone.
