The staff are exceptionally kind and responsive. Fluent in English and Turkish, they were very welcoming and responded very quickly to requests for towels, new sheets, and a check on the AC. They were quick to assist in calling a cab and arranged an airport shuttle ($55, pretty standard) and facilitated dry cleaning (~$60 for a suit and gown) and laundry (by the kilo). They had great knowledge of the neighborhood and provided walk-able restaurant recommendations. Ask about tour recommendations after you book - they have a few reliable folks they work with regularly. and I wish we had done that instead of winging it on our own. Location is perfect - a short walk to multiple public transit lines (and the ferry!) that take you directly to the big tourist attractions and further up into the city. Galata Tower within walking distance and directly visible from some rooms, and the rooftop view is excellent. For the last three days of the stay, I was terribly sick with a GI infection. My partner mentioned I was sick, and *every* time any member of the staff saw him, they asked about how I was doing. They provided a great recommendation for a soup restaurant and were very responsive to requests for sheets, towels, water, and lent us the air freshener they keep at the front desk. I can't thank them enough for their care and kindness. The breakfast was fantastic, from the service to the food. Even if we weren't staying at the hotel, we would have gone back to get breakfast every day of our trip.

There is no meal service to your room - you can go to the restaurant on the rooftop, but they won't bring it to your room. The AC wasn't on when we arrived, so the room was fairly hot. After we asked maintenance to take a look and made sure the windows were sealed, the room did eventually cool down. The minifridge isn't great, but it will keep things colder than room temp. If you take the keycard out of the slot in the wall, electricity is cut off, which meant we couldn't have the room cool when we came back without leaving a keycard. The bathroom door wasn't actually a door, but a pane of translucent glass. It didn't completely shut, so not great for privacy. Sheets and towels were low quality, but clean.

The location of this hotel is excellent. With the metro stop just a two-minute walk away, it was effortless to get around and explore. It only took us 15 minutes by metro and 30 minutes by foot to get to all the major attractions in the area. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The property was well-maintained, and The cozy and inviting atmosphere made us feel right at home. Additionally, we were pleased to discover many great restaurants and cafes nearby. It was nice to have a variety of dining options at our fingertips. But what really made our stay memorable were the hotel staff members, Mehmet, Faith, Melissa, and Sukru. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed during our stay. Their warm hospitality and willingness to help us with any questions or concerns made us feel incredibly valued as guests. Overall, I highly recommend the Haze Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in Istanbul near Karaköy, Galata, or Sultanahmet.

I have nothing bad to say about my experience at this hotel. From start to finish, everything was handled professionally and efficiently. Overall, I had a wonderful time during my stay, and I would not hesitate to return to this hotel in the future.

The property is close to Galataport shopping mall. Fatih on the front desk was very helpful and a polite man. He went out of the way to help with booking train tickets. however the other gentleman on the front desk did not have a welcoming attitude towards the guests. For example, when I arrived at the hotel, I had to wait for more than ten minutes for him to be free talking with another friend. That isn’t professional, right!

Congested area and difficult to find a cab. shops around the hotel close early in the evening.

The location was just perfect, very close to a famous mosque and hammam(amazing experience), next to the tram, walkable to galata and taksim. The area around the hotel is very busy with many restaurants and shops. The room was neat and modern. Loved everything about my stay especially the helpful staff and manager who were very attentive to my requests, and even greeted me with on the house breakfast. The view from the breakfast area is very amazing! Highly recommend the Haze.

The location of the hotel was great. The staff were great and wanting to help all the time. Having two connected rooms was great for a couple.

The water in the shower of one of the bathrooms gathered after showering, as the floor was not sloped enough. And there was a slight manhole smell in the shower.

The location is just AMAZING, definitely the best place to stay in Istanbul. Very good quality-price relationship, the rooms was comfortable and had all what one could need. The personnel was always super super helpful, Rafi and his colleagues where kind, friendly and provided us with very good tips and orientations. They are exceptional professional and great human beings. When I come back to Istanbul I will stay there again for sure!

The Turkish breakfast was very good but there were not many options other than the traditional Kahvalti. But there are thousand of options in the surrounding streets.

Location is excellent: strategic for all your transfer across the city. It’s in Karaköy, right before the Galata Bridge. Staff is very nice and welcoming: they offered us a room with view on Galata Tower and Soliman’s Mosque for the same price! Rooms offer enough comfort for your stay.

Overall, price is a bit above the quality offered: the space between sink, shower and wc are too tight to each other and do not offer enough space for movement. Also, room cleanliness should be improved. If prices were 10-20% cheaper they’d been a bit fairer.

Great hotel exceeding my expectations. I was upgraded to a nice penthouse with an amazing view on Galata and the Bosphorus. Special thanks to Mohammed Amine at the reception who assisted me at check-in. The location is just perfect for visiting all the hot spot in Istanbul. At night, the area is very very safe. The breakfast is fantastic with great view on the old city and the Bosphorus. The food is preselected and of high quality and taste, the service at the restaurant is great as well. The mattress and pillows are extremely comfortable le and the room was really CLEAN.

The only thing that should be improved is house keeping, compared to the rest, I think they should put more efforts in cleaning the room and changing the sheets and towels. The place is a bit noisy till late at night but it is part of Istanbul. The breakfast selection is repetitive, it would be great if they change the selection every day.

The location of the hotel was great. Near Galata, Emenonu, and Taksim. The hotel breakfast place was on the rooftop and had a beautiful view of Bosphorus on one side and Galata on the other. The room was comfy with a balcony. Good soundproofed windows. Privacy of rooms. Breakfast was wholesome and great. Enjoyed it.

I chose a Penthouse but the size of the room was too small to call it that. It was a bit expensive for the size. Though it had a balcony but the size of the room was still small for such an amount.
