This hotel goes above and beyond from the moment you arrive! There's always somebody by the door greeting you with a smile, and everyone inside are just as friendly - especially Selçuk! We had originally booked a standard double room, but he upgraded us immediately to a suite with a view at no extra cost, simply because he wanted us to enjoy our first visit to Istanbul as much as possible. He was always around for any questions we had and able to organize trips and activities easily. The room itself was also beautiful - huge, extremely clean and tidy with two balconies and tasteful decor. Cleaning staff respected any signs on the door and left the room spotless daily! The breakfast was delicious, the servers were extremely hospitable and we loved that it stays open quite late! The whole premises is stunning - a very warm and friendly home base in such a central location in Istanbul! There's also 24/7 tea, coffee and biscuits for free in the lobby - much appreciated!

Everything was perfect to be honest, no complaints. The hot water stopped working one morning (probably because of some renovations being done in another part of the hotel), but it was fixed by the time we got home. The staff are on top of everything!

I was travelling solo and the location was ideal for me. It is a short walk from Sultanahmet square, I could come back to the hotel when I wanted and go back again during the day. Also lots of restaurants are a short walk away. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful, they greeted me with a smile throughout my stay. They also guided me about different tours and experiences I should consider- as it was my first visit to the city. My room was cleaned everyday, adequate facilities were available in the hotel. Their breakfast is lovely and they serve it in a beautiful seating area, giving you a good start of the day. There is also a 24hr free coffee machine for residents to use! I would definitely stay here again if I come back in future.

My room was located in a relatively noisy corner, but it was okay overall, the slight noise did not bother me too much. it was avoidable.

Extremely well located hotel in the old historic town. Co-located with a great (if quite pricy) restuarant that can serve great versions of the local dishes. The view is also good either to the garden or to to street with a view to the old hippodrome wall.

The breakfast was lackluster. No fresh freshed juice, and the coffee was all made from instant coffee powder. Minor stuff: Some confusion arose where we were promised an upgrade, but it wasnt actually for us, and was then retracted. The associated leather store was predicatable tourist nonsense, and the bospherus boat tour promoted by the hotel is one of the bad over priced knockoffs , instead of one of the good boat tours.

The hotel staff, especially Selcuk, were extremely helpful, and we were grateful to Ramazan for carrying our bags up and down the stairs to our garden room. Selcuk explained the benefits of and process for the Istanbulkart, which proved invaluable. The breakfast was excellent. The location was perfect for the sightseeing we wanted to do. The airport transfers were good and worth the 55€. The Garden Restaurant, located in the hotel, was an unexpected bonus - excellent food and exceptional service from Kadir. Friends joined us from England and we had a lovely reunion to celebrate my husband's 80th birthday. Thankyou.

We loved this hotel! The staff was super helpful and immediately gave us an upgraded spacious room upon arrival - top floor with a balcony and city/sea view. All the staff were very service oriented! When you walk into the hotel, you immediately see through to the beautiful landscaped courtyard where they serve breakfast and have a restaurant for dinner (and maybe lunch?). The breakfast buffet had everything we wanted. Great value for money. The cleaning staff was wonderful, too.

For us, the room was clean enough but perhaps slightly for edges for some visitors. We were upgraded to the top floor, so it's a good thing the stairs don't bother us. The staff carries luggage up and down at check-in and check-out. It's a few extra steps to the tram stops, but we liked the quietness of the neighborhood.

Excellent location to all major attractions (walking distance). Quaint style. Friendly staff. Room was spacious with a good bathroom. Comfy bed, air conditioning and good wifi. Breakfast is included and the restaurant is open until 11 pm.

I am a solo traveller and felt I had to work a little bit harder than others to gain attention in the restaurant. Once I was seated at a table at the back of the inside restaurant but they did move me into the garden restaurant when I asked. The second time I was placed in a family room. Couples were served before me even though I arrived after them. The food is excellent and the service for others was very good. Accessibility - there is no lift at the hotel - this is stated clearly when booking. Also, the roads to the attractions are uphill and many are cobbled. It is difficult to walk on pavements and the kerbs can be high. This might be something to consider for mobility issues.

The hotel itself was everything I wanted, from the moment I walked in, Selçuk and his team were so warm and welcoming. Elvin was usually there in the day and always on hand. Unfortunately, I don’t have everyone’s names but thank you to Murat for carrying my bags down and the cleaning team for ensuring our rooms were clean and stocked up. Although we were short of coffee, this wasn’t a problem for us. For my friend and I, the location was excellent and about five minutes walk to the Blue Mosque. Don’t be put off by the uphill roads, they’re honestly not that bad unless you have problems with mobility and walking in general.

I maybe wouldn’t feel as comfortable as a solo female at night as it gets quiet.

The room is nicely decorated, comfortable bed. Hotel premises in general are cosy and the staff is really friendly and helpful. Location is great, in a calm area but walking distance from all the attractions in the old european quarters. Nice restaurant inside and good breakfast. Very good value for money

Sound insulation of the room could be better (it was 1st floor, door giving to a circulation area of the hotel, right in front of the stairs, and windows giving to the street, so even if there was not a lot of movement we heard some noise)

The staff here are very friendly, especially Levent, who promptly helped when we experienced an issue with our room, upgrading us straight away. The restaurant is also the best restaurant we visited in Istanbul. The food was delicious and value-for-money.

The first room we had on the first floor was not as good as the second room we were given following the roof leaking. We were told our room was an upgrade when we arrived. However when we entered the first room, apart from the Turkish-style bed, it did not seem as if we had a special room. We were pleased we were upgraded.

The hotel is super perfect, it is a place where you can enjoy you vacation, rooms are clean, bed are comfortable, toilet have no missing item, modern & clean, staff are smiley & helpful, they have an outstanding restaurant with reasonable price and we got 15% discount on one meal our rooms were upgraded and it is a safe place

i like everything but wish they have a safe in the rooms and provide toothbrushes & toothpaste to the toilet and the manger should check the master card key system in the rooms because sometimes they do not work from the first time but all in all the hotel is considered international, perfect & meets visitors expectations
