Sultanahmed Cesme Hotel is really amazing, very satisfying. The location is very close to the tourist sites we want to visit. The bedrooms and toilets are very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is delicious and healthy, with a beautiful view of the sea. The manager, Tekin, is very friendly, kind and helpful. We can ask him for any help, because we don't speak Turkish. He also really made sure all our needs at the hotel were met. We highly recommend this hotel to friends who want to vacation in Türkiye.

This hotel is great value for money. It has everything you need. The rooms are comfortable and the air conditioner is superb. The owner and his family are amazing they all go the extra mile to help you. Housekeeping is excellent and the location is central to all the main site seeing. You can basically walk to all the attractions. The hotel is surrounded with cafes and restaurants. We had an amazing stay and we will definitely be back.

Nothing negative to say really, only that to walk to the centre of Sultanahmet where all the action is you have to walk up a hill which may be difficult if you have a back problem like I do 😊

The location was very central. The hippodrome was only 9’ walk, albeit involves a steep climb. The staff was also very courteous and helpful. Also, they arranged excellent transfer to and from the airport at a very reasonable price.

There’s no elevator and our room was on the third floor (Ground + 3). Climbing the stairs with a bad knee was a bit of a problem but when one is in Istanbul for tourism, one has to climb up many stairs and hills anyway. Also, breakfast was exactly the same during the five days we were here and it could perhaps be slightly different after a couple of days. However, I would still maintain that it was great value for money and that’s why we decided to ditch bursa and stayed here for another day.

Thanks to the hosts, I have had a great experience salarying there and visited most of the attractions in Fatih! The location is good! It’s close to the tram station and in walking distance to the beach! The aircon is working good! This is important in summer, especially when you come back after a long day. There is a steep slope to clime to the tram station though, which might be a problem for someone. But in general, the stay was great! Oh! Breakfast is good too!

The owner is a very friendly man and his son was also very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Basically, they can help you with advice on all kinds of activities and even book them for you direct . I was there for the Champions League final and although the hotel was expensive ALL hotels in Istanbul had inflated their prices very high so pretty much expected it to be honest.. A lovely clean, friendly hotel in the heart of a stunning place. Thank you Tekin Kaya and your sons 😎

No issues at all

The hotel was clean, the breakfast was nice too, and the customer service was good.

At first, when we arrived, we was given a much smaller room, deff was not the one i had but upon enquiring, I got a new room the following day, it still wasn't the one I had booked online, but it was the next best. It was slightly smaller and different from the original I had booked but did the job. No complaints.

Staff r so friendly& supportive, owner Mr. Telkin is so supportive, he drove us across hilly road once to help morher,his brother Mr. Gengiz is so dedicated & helpful & care about details, also young Mr.UMUT in restaurant & lobby is very active, i just loved the staff so much, it felt like home.

Location is perfect, but road is uphill, don’t fit old people with knee or cardiac problems.

It’s small but very cozy& every single person is nice, helpful& supportive, from owner Mr. Tekin, to his brother Mr. Gankiz, to little man Mr. Omut, it’s very nice family & we were lucky to book there, Mr. Gankiz is so dedicated, almost don’t sleep to take care of guests details, Mr. Tekin is so decent & respectful man.it felt like home❤️

Good location, 5 minutes walking from Sultanahmet Square, it allows to quickly get to all historical places. Standard double room has needed minimum for short trips and after whole day walking silent place is really valued. Very nice and kindly hotel owner and hotel staff, we had good discussions with them . Breakfast is usual for such locations but want to highlight tasty coffee and you definitely won't stay hungry. You can have a breakfast on a terrace with nice sea view. Small but nice playground located in 2 minutes walking - daughter liked it so much. Thanks for free parking nearby the hotel.
