Awesome new hotel in a very lively and trendy part of Istanbul. Conveniently located near metro and tram connections and within walking distance from the historic city center just across the river. Our room was super comfortable and beautifully furnished. We were also very happy with the included breakfast.

Only downside really was that our room was streetside at a fairly busy road, so it might not be ideal for light sleepers. I slept with earplugs and it was mostly fine as it did get fairly quiet from around midnight onward. You may want to ask for a room on the 4th or 5th floor to be higher up from the street. Also dont be mistaken by asking for a room on the backside as apparently there are bars on that side that are open for much of the night so the street side probably is the quieter side.

I also liked the Nespresso coffee machine and amazing set of Atelier Rebul’s bath products (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body milk) - Very good breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice, customized omelettes and turkish coffee - Enjoyed the bar at the rooftop with signature cocktails and nice music

- There’s a bar just under the hotel with a loud music playing and people shouting and laughing up to 2 am every day. It was not easy to fall asleep

This is a beautiful hotel. The rooms are spacious and modern and super comfortable. I had a room on the 4th floor with a balcony. It was perfect. The room felt luxurious with top quality bed linen and towels and nice toiletries. The shower was amazing; a beautifully designed bathroom with a walk-in shower. Great water pressure. The hotel is in the heart of the city in Taksim. The location couldn’t have been better; walking distance to everything you could need. There is a lively buzz and positive energy from the bars and restaurants outside but once you close the patio door or window in the room, this is not an issue at all. Breakfast is delicious-lots of options and the lovely lady chef will cook your eggs the way you want- to perfection. The hotel staff are exceptional; they couldn’t do enough, the best and friendliest hotel staff I have ever met and they made my stay awesome!! I cannot express enough my gratitude to Mohammed, Umut, and Fatih for the conversations, guidance and information on Istanbul., arranging airport transfers and hammam visit and places to eat. The general manager is a great man, very professional. I had the best time in Istanbul thanks to my Gentle Tom experience.

Lovely small hotel in the by lanes off Istiklal. Beautifully designed rooms and comfortable too. The bathroom was splendid (I took pictures because I loved the tiles). Great beds. Lots of in room storage. And I must mention that the room had great lighting too (dim, inadequate lighting in hotel rooms is a pet peeve of mine). Staff were friendly and breakfast was adequate. Another great thing about this hotel is the location. It's surrounded by streets filled with local book shops, art galleries, small indie artists, designers and handmade stores. Absolutely enjoyed discovering and shopping from these hidden gems. It's also walkable to some great restaurants (like Nicole). High street shopping from the likes of Zara etc. are also just a few minutes away on Istiklal street. Would stay here again!

The hotel is also surrounded by clubs and bars which play music till late, so probably best to keep this in mind and ask for a quieter room. Another thing to note is that the street the hotel is on and the surrounding streets are all on narrow steep slopes, a bit tricky to navigate after a few drinks in the evening (as I discovered), Most taxis will also drop you close-ish but not quite near the hotel because of this too. Overall though, these negatives were very manageable and didn't put us off!

Breakfast was good. It was a shame that it was served in the basement when They have that amazing roof top bar. The staff were great though and cooked any egg dish you wanted to order. The location of the hotel was brilliant so close to everything. Noise was not great on the one side of the building but we were moved after one night to further up the hotel where it was a bit better. Would defo go back but try to book rooms higher up and on the 402 , 502 side. Lovely staff.

We did like a lot the hotel itself, the people are really nice- Fatih who met us midnight on the main street as we were not able to find the location was very kind and immediately reacted on our call! Mohammed was also taking care that we do not miss anything during the stay. The transfer from the airport worked also perfect. Maybe just to keep in mind not all drivers know the place yet as it is really new and some (like our taxi driver) leave you almost in front of the property but the entrance is tiny, in between other houses, sometimes difficult to find.

The only negative part was the fact that Fridays and Saturdays can be very loud (especially for those rooms on the side of the pubs) as there are number of pubs with loud music. We were lucky as out of 5 we had just 2 nights with music (only one was really loud)!

Great hotel. Spotlessly clean. Not a grain of dust to be found. Great breakfast with a really pleasant smiling chef and a typical Turkish breakfast. Check in was really quick and took a few seconds. 1 minute from Istklal st. 5 minutes from Tophane.

The noise at night. There are several very rowdy bars immediately next to and opposite the hotel. Normally I can sleep through noise in hotels but here I really struggled, as the music would constantly vary in volume. It does calm down after 2-3am.

Great location, off Istiklal street, near shopping, lots of restaurants and the metro. The bus to the airport is about a 10 min walk. Good internet and good AC. Great staff.

This is a classic 3 star hotel with no frills, the double room for two was on the small side, and felt tight. Fortunately, the bathroom was comfortable. The breakfast was fine, in a small room in the basement, with the traditional Turkish items, and some fruits. The hotel has no lobby if you want to meet with a guest, and no café or bar inside.

Perfect location. Very friendly staff. Very clean room.

Hotel has not enough staff. Looks like one man is responsible for all, and regardless how he was worthy, could not reach everything. Btw, that man is very kind, and he deserved 10 points. An evening, we was not able to open our safe box because bateries were discharged, and they was not able to solve problem before next day at noon. Fortunatelly that was happend two days before our back flight, considering our passports was inside the safe box.

Good location in the heart of the city, 10 min walk to taksim metro and 10 min walk to sashani metro. friendly staff especially fati was a great host, and also mohamed with made our brilliant breakfafst. one side of the hotel turned away to a bars side which a bit noisy on the weekends but has a balcony, and the second side turned away to the street, rooms are smaller without a blcony but i love the this kind of room more then the bigger. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean, the staff cleans every day.

Since there is no glass door in the shower, the water splashes out and wets the floor outside the shower. It would have been correct to extend the side of the shower by another 20-25 cm or to add a door. The coffee and tea capsules in the room were extra.
