Nothing at all. While some may perceive it as distant from the center, it's merely a short tram ride, taking 20-30 minutes and costing 15 TL. This provides a pleasant experience, particularly for first-time visitors seeking respite from the hustle and bustle of the big city while benefiting from.

The staf are great. Burak is the man who solves any problem or issues for you. It's clean and the location is very good.

The rooms are not so big. But I knew that. The bathroom is not suitable for the big people. Fortunately I am not big.

This seems like a relatively new property. the place was clean, tidy, staff we friendly and helpful. Close to the tram and bus station. Easy point to explore from. great value for the money.

Taxi had a hard time finding it. But I was able to direct them from my mapping app.

The room was quite basic, but had everything I needed. Staff was helpful and spoke english. The hotel is about ~10 mins walk from the nearest metro station and also about ~10 mins from the nearest tram stop. There is a bus station nearby with a frequent bus service to Kâğıthane, which is the stop for the metro to the airport, so it's quite easy to reach the airport by public transportation.

WiFi did not work every time and was quite slow.

Located in a quite neighborhood, this hotel was one of the most comfortable place I ever stayed in Istanbul. Of all the great aspects of the hotel, I need to emphasize how hospitable and helpful the front desk staff Seydi was during my 4 nights stay here. He helped me check in early and offered some coffee and even half of his cake. People like Seydi make Istanbul special in addition to the rich history and exciting attractions and experiences Istanbul offers. The bed was so comfortable that I was finally able to rest well after a packed trip. Their breakfast was delicious and offered a good variety. Plus, the hotel was beyond a good value for money.

Absolutely nothing

Despite the brilliant reviews, I was apprehensive when I booked the hotel, but staying there put me at rest. The hotel is a minute's walk from the Topkapi bus station and a 7-minute walk from the tram and metro stations. The people at the reception were extremely friendly and kind despite the communication barrier (which I was able to handle with some help from Google Translate). The breakfast was very minimalistic but enough to get you through until lunch with an assortment of cold-cut meats, cheeses, fruits, bread and condiments. I stayed in a single room, where the bed was just enough for one person. The rooms are very well maintained including the bathrooms. They provide all necessary toiletries and fresh towels. The housekeeping was good enough too. This was not an issue for me but for those that are concerned about the distance, the hotel is a 20-minute tram ride from Sultanahmet and a 10-minute ride to Sirkeci which is close to Eminonu. Overall I'd say this was a very well connected by buses, tram and metro. There are a couple of shops that are open late into the night just outside the hotel if you ever need to grab a juice or snack.

The wifi was quite slow and is only capable for sending messages or checking emails. I could not stream anything over the Wifi sadly.

Staff were super nice. First, my room was placed next to the elevator so they gave me a different room that was good and quiet. Also, they allowed me to leave my bags all day after I checked out and were kind to me when I was waiting in the lobby before heading to the airport. Only note is that breakfast variation is limited, so for a long trip you will eventually get bored of the food options. Aside from this, location was perfect, there are a few local supermarkets, restaurants, and stores under the hotel.

We stayed at Istanbul Efes Hotel for 15 days. We are more than satisfied with our stay. The staff is extremely pleasant, helpful and available for anything you need. The breakfast is excellent! Cleanliness was very important to us because we were staying with baby and they exceeded our expectations. Clean, very nice and comfortable hotel with great location. All recommendations for Istanbul Efes Hotel! We will definitley stay here again in future.
