same variety of food every day for breakfast. Just basic food, no cereals available on any mornings. Breakfast is not allowed in the rooms. No juice provided for breakfast, if you want coffee one has to ask, but chai is available if you ask, plenty hungry cats about during breakfast if the doors and windows ain’t shut. House keeping ain’t automatic everyday, one has to ask for it to be done. Lots of mosquitoes about.

Central location, wonderful friendly staff, clean and tidy and a nice breakfast. Kerim and the staff were very caring and helpful which was lucky for me as I had a few logistical problems to deal with. This was my second stay after returning from a walking trip on the south coast. Single rooms a perfect, they have everything you need in a compact affordable package. Nice hot shower, comfortable bed, quite location in a central location right on the tram line.

I've been staying in the Liman Hotel for 5 days. I was so happy with my stay. The staff was very welcoming and extremely friendly. Especially Kareem did a perfect job. Whenever I needed a tea, I got one. No matter at what time of the day! I usually slept long so I didn't try the breakfast. However, I got biscuits with my first tea of the day. When I had questions they were all answered. It got quite cold in the evening and Kareem offered me the remote for the AC/ heating without me asking for it. Thankyou for that. The location is just perfect. Close to the tram, to travel to all touristic areas of Istanbul. Yet it was really quiet. I always came back for an afternoon nap and could always sleep well. The room was small, yes. But I could move freely. Shower, toilet and the room were clean. The bed was comfortable. I could practice my Arabic and Turkish with the staff and it really felt like home! When I am back in Istanbul, I will be staying here again!

It was really a great experience. Karim, the host at the reception, was super friendly and provided support for everything (also to teach how to use a turkish tea machine). The place is in a strategic position, the breakfast was good and in great amount, especially for solo travelers in turistic visiting I would recommend it as the best place to stay...

the Hotel staff arranged for our airport pick up in the same day which was perfect as i did not email them about that untill the same day of arrival. Omar was great receiving us at the Hotel, he was kind to walk with me to go to the Bank to get some cash and showing me the exchange store, he told us about the restaurants nearby and answered all our questions. breakfast was provided as well. the night reception guy was great too, he was kind enough to talk to my father in law and was always happy to have small talks and told my father in law to come to reception if he is bored in his room.

the location is very good for our family, however if u like busy near bars and other activity Topkapi is not for you.

It's really small and cosy hotel at the end corner of little road. Quiet surroundings and hotel too. I must say the receptionist Mr. Kareem goes above and beyond to help the guests and he has done so with me and I saw with others. He's extremely helpful and pleasant to chat with as well. I hope I'll be staying there the next time I'm in Istanbul.

Very very clean and very quiet area

Nice location. Great for the price, really helpful staff. Great hospitality and reception by KERIM, the most helpful receptionist ever. Kerim spoke nice English, and paid attention to details to meet the customer's expectations.

The people were very helpful. I was very tired and disoriented but Karin and the other staff were very helpful and understanding. I decided to rebook on my return. Breakfast was nice.

The property is clean and quiet and located near transport.

Its good nice hotel the staff also nice and polite and they were very helpfull specially Mr.Karim and Mr.Peyruz and also the hotel is 2min away from tram and tourist places
